Wanted to take a moment to recognize the emergency services that Labor4orce provided at the 400,000 square foot NIH Distribution Facility in Gaithersburg, MD which is a property my company manages. On December 23rd a subcontractor hit an ESFR sprinkler drop line in a shipping area. This line was running at street pressure for over three hours causing the area to flood with thousands of gallons of water. Labor4orce met us at the site and had a damage control crew cleaning up the 1-1/2" to 2" of water from the slab area within an hour of our request. Moving in to abate this nightmare were several truckloads of water extraction equipment, fans and dehumidifying-drying equipment along with their team of well-trained employees that remained on site for eight hours. The next morning they were able to remove the damaged ceiling area and redistribute their specialty equipment to dry out the space, including treating the slab area for potential mold issues over the next three days. Our floor drain in the basement backed up in our store room. Our plumber fixed the problem and the water drained away. We were left with such a mess. Years of kitchen grease and soot were left on the floor. Quite a bit had seeped into the carpet. The plumber recommended Labor4orce and it was the best thing that could have happened. First, Joe Rand organized a crew - on a Saturday afternoon - and was at the house within an hour and a half. He assessed the problem and went over the plan. I was very concerned about the situation but Joe reassured me that all would be OK. They moved everything out of the store room and stacked neatly nearby. Then they cleaned, scrubbed, cleaned again and scrubbed again. They cut the affected carpet and hauled it away. They disinfected everywhere. The crew worked until 7:30 that evening. In the end, I felt like Labor4ource had remediated our problem in the best and most professional manner possible. The other shout-out is the manner in which Joe handled the project. It was quite stressful for me and he was very reassuring throughout the process. He explained all the options and gave reassuring advice on a positive outcome. The Operations Manager, Joe Rand, and the rest of the team at Labor4orce performed an outstanding job with cleaning and carpet restoration at our corporate office location. The job included some stain removals which we anticipated could not be resolved including high traffic areas, toner spillage and wood glue spilled on the carpet in one location. This company really deserves 10 stars! Recently, I had some severe water damage in the basement of my new home. Within hours, Josue arrived with his equipment to measure the water damage and potential mold, take photographs, and do a detailed estimate of a complete mitigation. I called Labor4orce for an emergency I had at my business. We had a pipe burst and it caused a lot of damage. I called the 1-800 number and got a live person that put me in touch with the emergency on call team. They were on site in less then an hour and worked through the night to get the shop ready so that I could open the next morning. They worked around us throughout the next day and even had a relief crew show up so that the first responders could get some rest. Got a fair, professional quote from Joe who walked me through the process of water damage clean up and restoration of my basement wall. Unlike some other companies that randomly charge for extra equipment, Joe measured and showed me what my basement need for drying.
