Glass work 5/5 stars! If you have an older car without any windshield sensors that only needs glass replaced, this place does the job decently. However, they have some shady business practices that I'll explain below. Initially when I reached out, they only quoted me for a windshield replacement. Every other autoglass repair place I reached out to also included a mandatory sensor recalibration in their quote. I asked LA Autoglass if they recalibrate the windshield sensor (for forward collision alert, emergency braking, etc) and they said they would do it for an extra $150. A little weird they didn't tell me initially, but I accept because it's the cheapest quote. They sent me a text breaking down all the costs, including both my windshield replacement AND sensor recalibration. We schedule a time for the technician to come out. Everything's fine and dandy. This is where things started going south. The technician comes out, and I ask him if he's going to do the sensor recalibration. He says he doesn't have the equipment. Wtf. I have to call the scheduler and they say they'll schedule someone else to come out a different day to do the sensor recalibration. Pretty damn inconvenient, but at this point I'm willing to go through the pain just to get the job done, so I agree. The technician does the windshield replacement, I pay him, and he goes on his way. On the second day, the Technician was scheduled to arrive between 12-2. They did not show up, and I had to message the scheduler at 4 pm to ask what was up. They said they would schedule on yet ANOTHER day. On the THIRD day, I was working and the technician apparently came by in the morning, but I couldn't pick up the phone when he called me. He didn't even ring the doorbell and just left. I'll say this is partially my fault, but still pretty annoying. He came by later in the day, and guess what, it was the same dude from the first day that said he didn't know how to use a recalibration machine. This time, he drove my car around for an hour to "recalibrate" it, but he said it didn't work. Of course, I had to reach out to scheduler again (see a trend here?) and they half heartedly said they would try to find someone who can finish the job. I followed up AGAIN, and from there they ghosted me. Clearly, this is a business that is a master of the bait and switch, and it seems like they never planned to finish the job they started. I should have gone with a more reputable business. Do not pay them until they finish the job completely, or they'll make a fool out of you like they did of me. read more

My passenger window was smashed on a Sunday and I called up LA Autoglass to fix it. they were able to take me the next day early in the morning! the fix was speedy and they did a great job cleaning out the broken glass. The worst service in the window repair business! I dont even know where to start with these amateur's. TLD version: Save your money and time and go elsewhere! Trust me! If you are going to read this review, grab some popcorn. I called them to get a quote on a glass replacement for my Mclaren 570S and spoke to Jasmine. She said it would cost $600 for the parts and labor but it was out of stock and that I will have to wait 2 weeks until it arrives. I agreed, and said thats fine. Fast forward 2 weeks later, no phone call, no email...nothing. I called them a few days later after the 2 initial weeks to find out why I didnt get a call back...turns out the window didnt arrive and I had to wait another 2 weeks! Where was my phone call to notify me? Fast forward 2 more weeks and I have to receive a call. So once again I called Jasmine asking for an update. She said the glass arrived at a warehouse and that they will call me to set an appointment. I waited a few more days and decided to call them again to set my appointment because clearly they never return any calls back. YOU have to do the calling! My appointment was set for the following day. I was excited and looking forward to getting my window replaced so that I can finally rent out the car again. The day came and I what a surprise! I got a call from Jasmine stating the guy is running late and wont be able to make it. Thats fantastic! I only took a day out of work so I can sit on my bum all day waiting for this window to get replaced. Oh well, stuff like this happens, I get it. But, it gets better trust me. The guy shows up the following day, replaces the window. I go and inspect the window and hear all the broken glass still inside the door, it rattles so much when you lift the doors that it sounds like a childrens toy filled with rocks. On top of that the glass screeches every time it goes up and down because it is getting scratched against the glass when it does that. I told the person (who barely spoke any english btw) that it does that and there is still glass in the window and all he did was nod at me. I guess he didnt understand what I was saying. Horrible work on replacing the window! How are you going to leave the broken glass inside the door? Wth am I paying for here? Fast forward a week later, I checked my bank statement and saw that they charged me $780 for the repair when I was originally quoted $600. Seriously? What type of armature business are these scammers running here? I will be filing a claim with my bank to get my money back if they dont offer to refund or fix the crappy work that they have done to my car. One call and that was all it took. Had my car broken in last night in DTLA. They took my kiddos iPads and a couple personal items. No one got hurt and that's all it matters. Morning came and I called my insurance company. They referred Safelite, which is a solid company but their quote was more than I expected. I opted-out and I went to yelp and looked around and funneled to at some of the reviews then I found LA AutoGlass Winafix. An easy call and have an appointment made on the same day. Technician called prior to give me an estimate for arrival. The technician arrived as promised and he started working and was done within the estimated time. He cleaned-up the broken glass pieces inside and outside the car. Work was flawless! I have to wait for a week for Safelite's availability for parts and for a technician to come. They are charging me $29.95 for mobile service where LA AutoGlass Winafix's mobile service is free. Overall I paid less than half what Safelite quoted me. I am glad I got it done today because I have an appointment with Fresh Window Tint #4 tomorrow morning! I highly recommend LA AutoGlass Winafix! read more

I read a bunch of reviews before I decided to give these guys a shot. I got a quote through their website. They responded right away and it was about $100 cheaper than Safelite's quote. They set up an appointment for the next morning, arrived on on time, and did the work in about an hour. I tipped him 5%. It's not an OEM windshield but I don't care about that, it's not broken and I won't have to worry about getting a ticket now. All in including taxes and tip, I paid $456.66 for my 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser. No regrets here. read more

My front driver-side window was broken into, completely shattered. I called and was able to schedule an appointment for the following afternoon. The technician arrived at my car around 3 pm, and it took half an hour to complete the job. I tested the window, it looked and functioned as expected, minus some glass rattling in the door which later resolved. I experienced some frustrating communication issues following the repair. Previous reviews mentioned that LA AutoGlass deals with insurance - they do not (or at least, didn't for me!). I also asked them about the publicized quote for $100 off the deductible, and they told me that was not available. When I called to request an itemized receipt for insurance, they told me I could expect to receive one that same day, but I never did. I called to follow up and was again told I would receive one that same day, and again did not - this happened for 6 days. I wanted to delay posting a review so it could hopefully be more positive, but I still haven't heard back and at this point I'm unsure if I ever will. read more

Loved the fact they would come to me for no extra charge. However, the guy they sent to do my windshield did a mediocre job at best. The beads on the sides of the windshield are visible, he damaged the upholstery near the window, and messed up putting the windshield wipers back on. Had to fix those myself last night so I could drive in the rain. Pay the extra $35 to have Safelite come to you instead. read more

I just had my windshield replaced today along with calibration for the camera and heads up display and everything went great. The whole process was very quick and they came right to my house. Did I mention that I called them yesterday and they were able to complete work within 24 hours of my call? From confirming they had my windshield in stock to working with me as an insurance claim to replacing the glass to calibrating my car's tech. Great service overall. I recommend them. My Nissan Rogue SL windshield was hit by a rock so hard, that the crack only took seconds to shoot across the glass. I reached out to my insurance company, Nissan, Safelite, and small auto shops. I was quoted from $1100 to $1300. The price was due to my car having a certain sensor in the front. Obviously during these times money is tight, so I continued my search. I came across LA AutoGlass online and gave them a call. I was instantly quoted $395 and informed they would drive out to my residence to fix the windshield the next day. They disclosed to me that they do not offer sensor recalibration- which is why I was being quoted so high by other places. They just finished the job and took about 30 minutes! It looks lovely and I'm so glad I did not have to pay over 1k. I drove my car, checked all the cameras and sensors and they work just fine. No issues have been detected. read more

A screw had hit my car windshield over thanksgiving weekend resulting in a massive crack which required the windshield to be replaced. I reached out to serval auto glass shops over the weekend and only a few got back to me LA auto glass being the first. I spoke with them and agreed to use them for the repairs and set an appointment for Tuesday 2-5 PM. and here is where 5 stars turn into 3. I took half day off work and got home at 1 and relaxed assuming they would come. 4:00 rolls by and i figure id reach out to see what's going on but being hopeful as there is still an hour to their promised arrival time. I get a reply back at 4:30 saying that they will not be coming today, I kindly asked what happened and the lady had told me "I don't know something happened at the warehouse maybe the glass cracked or something we can see you tomorrow morning first thing from 8-10AM" so then i asked why did no one reach out to me before i had contacted them? her answer is "I don't know you can use some one else if you want" what kind of reply is that? as I needed the glass ASAP I hesitantly agreed to their appointment time and she was SO nice to try and give me 20 dollars off (which is a standard discount they offer on their website btw) for the troubles. I argued with her since I had wasted half my day sitting around doing nothing waiting for them and lost wages at work. after a short back and forth she gave me a larger discount which was nice but boy did that take some work.. vendors are normally fast to say sorry and offer more when its THEIR mistake. Wednesday morning rolls by and the technician arrives at my work place this time around 8:15 and they get the job done clean fast and from what I have seen a very good job. so that's my story with LA auto glass. UPDATE Response: Continued LIES From IAN the owner! I have text and call logs that prove that I was in immediate contact with his office the day of the installation. Ian continually will misrepresent and twists the facts and events that have occurred, and will/has/does use every trick to manipulate and con the public. This including taking advantage of society's issues (COVID19, Racism, & Scams) to mislead the public. Even though I offered on multiple occasions to bring the car to them so they can see the damage themselves, they all adamantly refused. The only person from this company who has seen the actual damage is technician who DID the damage, whose only words about it were "it's not that bad." He didn't/doesn't even deny doing the damage, just said that his supervisor would call me that day, and left. Now Ian is using that same technician's word to call me a liar!?! If I wanted to take advantage of him and his company I would have claimed every ding or scratch on the car as the technicians fault. I also would have requested that every panel on the interior that is stained and damaged be replace, but was accepting an interior detail to cut his cost! I even agreed to have his shop do the repairs. Again don't take my word for it, look at the pictures and the assessment of 3 independent auto body shops (one of which is THEIR body shop) that have all seen and inspected the damage in person. OR you can listen to the words of the person who DID all the damage (that his body shop was told was fired), and take the word of the owner Ian whom continues to LIE & outright refused to even see the damage In person (or have anybody other than the technician did the damage from his company inspect it). I have spent weeks trying to give Ian a chance to remedy the situation amicably BECAUSE he is a small business, but Ian's only reconciliation is to do a $300 TOUCH UP on the well over $4,000 in damages (NOT including fixing the interior damage) that his technician doesn't even deny doing. So who is trying to take advantage of whom? Take your chances if you like, but I regret it and hate the fact that I gave my money to shady business like this! read more

Between 3:00pm- 6:00pm.the service was great after my rear window was blow out without any reason at the parking lot at my work, i just call La Auto glass at 10:30am. The service was come at 3pm . Stay away from these people.I called these guys to come and change my window glass. I was under impression that I'm getting the factory glass. Upon their arrival, I found out the window that they wanted to install was after market window glass and not what we agreed on. They wanted to charge me more and so I told them that I was frustrated and preferred going with a different company. When that company arrived, I found out they took the metal piece that is needed for installation of the window. The other company was unable to install my window without it. When I called them, they at first denied it and afterwards admitted to taking the piece and said it would take 2 hours to return it. Needless to say, it was a very bad experience. The price was definitely competitive and they came to me, and I'm sure my window isn't going to blow through the frame and kill me while I drive. But the process was sloppy at best. I came back to the car after the installation, wiped my hand over what I thought were scratches on my dash, and saw that my hand was covered in a thick, greasy residue. Upon further inspection, it was all over the dash. It was clearly the black, tar-like adhesive. If I got any on my clothes I would've been pissed. The company sent him back to clean up, but he did kind of a half ass job, telling me the dash was just "dirty" (yeah no it was polished it a few days ago with Mothers, and yet there was tar all over my hands). They offered to clean anything that got dirty, but I expected a hell of a lot more from a company with this many solid reviews. So just be sure to check the area they work in for any glue before you let your installer leave. read more
