Consistently delicious! Bagels are oversized with the right balance of chewy & fluffy. Sandwiches are tasty and there is a huge selection of breakfast & lunch options. They use fresh leafy green lettuce on their deli sandwiches, which is good but I'm not a personal fan-I like the traditional crunch of shredded iceberg myself. Breakfast sandwiches are on the money though! They could stand to have a better drink selection (the place is essentially a Snapple showcase-not everyone thinks the best stuff is in there). Macaroni & potato salads are very traditional and consistently good. Service is quick and polite, and the employee crowd behind the counter runs like a well oiled machine, especially when the place gets packed on weekend mornings. Best bagels I've had in the NJ/NY area. Perfect amount of crisp and chewy texture to their bagels. Scallion cream cheese on a mini bagel is my go-to. Egg sandwiches are good as well but they tend to run out of croissants if I don't make it there early enough. read more

Just discovered this place and was very impressed. Most places open late on Sunday and they were open at 4am! And on top of that their bagel case was fully stocked. The bagels were fresh and delicious; crisp on the outside and wonderfully soft on the inside. What's not too like about this place? Friendly service, tasty bagels, loads of cream cheese on the bagels, and they open extremely early and close late into the wee hours, and costwise quite reasonable. Been a customer here for years. Walked in at 430 am today and wanted my usual of a everything bagel with porkroll egg and cheese. Walked in and was ignored while a worker was cooking a ton of bacon. Then another worker walked by and said "gringo wei" to the cook. He turned around and ordered my usual. He said no everything bagel what you want? I said oh ok a wheat bagel? Then tells me to turn around and look at the bagels. So I say again "wheat bagel". Then he says is it in the bin and I said yes man it's written on the glass. No idea what his attitude was for. Then he scoops up the ton of bacon and slaps my pork roll and egg on. Oh don't worry he made sure he left the pool of bacon grease. After frying my porkroll to hell and scooping all the bacon grease with the egg I had one bite and I was done. Not only with the sandwich but the whole place. I've never written a review before but I felt so unwelcomed it's time to part ways. To the little man cook with green pants thanks for ruining my experience. To la bagel I was there today at 435 am maybe have a chat with your shit staff. I'm a blue collar worker I work long hours and just wanted a nice breakfast. If you live in the New York metro area you know what a good bagel is. I have lived here for over 30 years and these are without any doubt, the best bagels around. Easily as good as the best of Manhattan. I the cream cheese with olives and the kippered salmon are both excellent choices. On two occasions out of the few times I've tried this place, I stood at the counter for close to 5 minutes as the ONLY customer in there. Of the 4-5 employees behind the counter, none if them even acknowledged I was there. My order was not taken, and being that I don't have time to waste in the morning I turned around and left. This place is HORRIBLE stay away!!! Found half a bug squished in my french toast, and the driver dropped off a large order for me and my co-workers with no utensils, no butter or syrup. When I called the store to express my dismay I was put on hold for 12 minutes while waiting to speak with the manager. she came on the phone and nonchalantly brushed me off and asked me if i wanted to wait another 40 minutes for them to get my order right. Fresh bagels toasted to perfection! I came in on a hungry hunt for breakfast (and referral from a friend) and was delighted to see they offered breakfast sandwiches w all the fixing, even home fries on their menu. Being that it was our first time, my group decided to order the sesame, plain, blueberry and garlic bagel w a variety of cc including strawberry and veggie. The selection of bagels are the typical plain, everything, sesame, garlic, an 8 grain, blueberry, etc. The downsides I would say have to be that there is nowhere to sit and enjoy the food, so it's take out only here. When we got home, we had our first bites of the bagel and were not disappointed. The lox is a must try w/ slices of smoked salmon. I thought it would have some capers w/ it, but it didn't so I'm not sure if that was an available option you tell them when you make the order. We ordered the lox, 4 bagels, half pound of cc, large coffee and total was roughly $27. I would say it was a bit pricey considering it's just bagels but well worth it if you're in the mood for some good ones w freshly made cream cheese. Will definitely be back whenever we're in town.
