We went here because it was the only place open late in Sonoma other than Denny's and it had good reviews. I'm leaving this review because it really shouldn't have good reviews. The only pro is that the burritos are GIANT. Like, giant. Which I guess they should be since it was $45 for two pastor burritos and a chicken quesadilla. Well, that and the staff were nice. It's not really Mexican food. It's like if somebody who had never had Mexican food tried to make Mexican food. Mediocre at absolute best. So La Bamba is pretty good for what it is. My coworkers and I stop by here probably more often than we'd like to admit and I'm definitely not a taco truck kinda person but this place is really good! We can usually get food for everyone at a decent price. The service is pretty quick and they're always really nice and accommodating to our ridiculously large orders. I wish they had more veggie options but it's a taco truck and beggers can't be choosers, right? Everyone has good, bad and down right ugly days. That's why I go out of my way to party a visit to the best damn taco truck ever conceived by man. This taco truck is located on highway 12. You walk up to a picnic table staged in front of the truck where they serve horchata from the tap, and ice cold coke made with real cane sugar. Things to try... 1.) Gorditas chichurrons Crispy golden brown pork fat, sandwiched between two tortillas and suspended in gooey melty cheese and mild salsa. The flavor is unlike anything you can imagine despite it's simplicity. 2.) Lengua taco's Taco's plural, because you can't have just one. Lengua is the slow cooked cow tongue. It has a high fat content with a ton of beefy, gamey flavor. A squeeze of lime with the crunch of radish brings the dish full circle. Burritos are good, as are the tortas. The limosina is big enough for a linebacker, or just two people. Dont take my word for it just because I cook. Go, go, go!!! read more

A familiar, and deliscious truck to stop at in the evenings, and late at night. The limosine size burrito is a favorite of mine, and they portion ingrediants rolled up in a warm and crispy tortilla, they also include chiles, and radishes with a slice of lime upon picking up.
