    Wet Burrito

Quaint little taqueria amongst a flock of them in the area. Non assuming, family-run business with incredible tasting food and value that makes them stand apart. When the weather is good, there is a small covered, porch-like outdoor sitting that is very nice to relax while you eat. Counter service that is delivered to your table with a smile and all the possible fixing that could accompany your dish. The flavor of the Asada and salsas really stood out for me. The salsa verde is over the top.

Not the "Wet" shrimp burrito with nothing but rice, cheese and shrimp..

Valentine's Day. We didn't have a stove all weekend so my husband and I decided to order in a nice doordash delivered Mexican meal. We ordered chicken enchiladas and a wet shrimp burrito with nothing but rice, cheese and shrimp (my husband is a picky guy and doesn't like beans) I'm not sure if it was doordash or the restaurant that went wrong but what we got was nothing like what we ordered... no big deal. We called the restaurant and described the issue. The man on the phone said that we ordered wrong (it's doordash you make your selection with their choices and the selection is right there on the receipt) . He said it would get fixed and when my husband asked how, we'd just like a refund, he hung up on him. Well there's a meal in the trash and a restaurant that we won't be returning to.

We stopped by on a Saturday for lunch and it was BUSY. There is limited parking so definitely keep that in mind. The line moves pretty quickly and you place your order inside. They have a large patio in the back with plenty of seating. We ordered the chips and guac, enchiladas de mole, and enchiladas suizas. The chips and guac came out first. The chips are SO GOOD. They fry their homemade tortillas into a large chip. The tortillas are very flavorful and the guacamole is rich and creamy. I think they grate their jalapeño/serrano into the avocado which allows for the flavor to be spread out across the bite. My only complaint is regarding the guac: I wish it had lime! Or if it did have lime, it didn't have enough. The food took a while to come out but the wait was worth it. The portions are huge! The enchiladas suizas were scrumptious. The chicken is stewed which makes it very moist and full of flavor. The pickled veggies weren't my favorite but I'm not generally a pickled veggies fanatic. My partner enjoyed his enchiladas con mole (which I obviously stole a bite from). The mole was very rich and decadent. Overall, we had an excellent experience and look forward to a trip back!

I was trying to decided the mole vs suiza chicken enchiladas and the amazing woman ringing me up said she could do one of each! I LOVED the mole! So flavorful. We also got the fish tacos that were really yummy and a child's quesadilla. The star of the show is the tortillas!! Fresh made and sooo good. Will definitely come back here if in the area. Don't skip on this place!

Bar area was popular and look like they do some drink specials. A couple tvs with sports on but not intrusively loud. Lots of parking. The booths were beautifully decorated. We were so hungry I forgot to take pictures but that's also a good thing. The food was good. Little guy got his usual carne asada tacos a la carte with nothing on them - he said the meat was well seasoned and tasty. Hubby got a Al pastor torta - it was Huge. He only ate half. Commented the meat was good and the bread was soft, grilled perfectly and overall very good sandwich. I got the chicken mole plate. I don't like eating chicken on the bone in a restaurant (me being dainty, lol) unless it's fried chicken wings - so this was a treat because their chicken mole was not on the bone. The mole was kinda sweet but I like it that way. I would have liked a bit more spice but I know mole is regional and familial flavors. I thought it was good. Beans and rice pass my test - moist and flavorful. The bathroom was clean - I always think if a restaurant has a clean bathroom I'll trust for a clean kitchen. Kinda odd the ladies room was a single toilet and two sinks. But I thought if I had a couple littles in there with me we could all wash our hands at the same time. I'll keep this spot on my list next time I'm in the area! The staff was great and we left very well fed!

I love seating at the bar since you can see their open kitchen. I've visited a handful of times, solo, with friends and family, and every experience has been consistently wonderful. I don't usually write reviews, but this place deserves a shoutout! The fresh Oysters of the Day and the Baked Oysters with PARMESAN are absolutely delicious, if you love oysters, this is the spot. The Rigatoni Vodka has the perfect bit of spice, and it's served with crispy, fresh-baked bread that makes it even better. Their cheeseburger and steak are also standout dishes. Pair it all with a nice cold beer or one of their tasty cocktails, and you really can't go wrong. The service is always timely, and the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. We ordered oysters, deviled eggs, and a ceasar salad to start, then got the steak and broccoli for a main course. I loved the oysters, steak, chimichurri that came on it, crispy potatoes, and deviled eggs. These might have actually been some of the best crispy potatoes I've ever had, they did them pretty perfectly. The Caesar salad was a little mayo heavy in some bites and anchovy heavy in others, dressing could have been mixed a little better, but it was still good for the most part and a good portion too. I was glad we got the broccoli to have another vegetable, but didn't love the sauce on it. It didn't really go with what we were eating, and just felt like it could've been rounded out a little more. We lucked out, didn't have a reservation but they had a spot for us on the outdoor patio, which ended up being the perfect spot to dine on a nice warm evening. It was quaint and felt like someone's backyard, highly recommend sitting back here when the weather is good.

The tuna tartare and burrata were great but the pork belly was out of this world. Very flavorful and a well-thought-out dish; something that I will order every time I go there.
