This poor child could've gotten bleach chemicals on her eyes or mouth. The adults around were joking about child labor which is not funny. READ PICS FOR THE FULL STORY. 6/1/22: I think it's so crazy how I wrote a bad review on this salon and now I see girls probably loyal to this salon writing reviews on how good the hairstylist that I went to does such good hair. Not only did she help give me tips for my skin care routine and make up technique but she helped me find the right shades to perfectly complement my skin tone. In fact, she's so good with color and attention to detail that I just HAD to have her microblade my eyebrows. The results have been absolutely LIFE CHANGING! She made the entire process so easy and I felt really comfortable with the overall look before she even got started. I went to get a perm the other day, and while the curls themselves turned out nicely, the service…read morewas extremely unpleasant. To start out, my stylist was 20 minutes late to our appointment. While my hair was processing, she left cotton soaked with perm chemicals around my head which caused burns on my skin, of which I'll include pictures. I told her about this and she ignored it. Then, when she was washing out the chemicals, she failed to put a towel behind my neck causing my entire back and clothes to get wet and making them smell like chemicals. She brushed this off by saying that perms are messy, but there is absolutely no reason why my clothes should have gotten soaked during a hair appointment. She also kept spraying the hot water on my burns regardless of me telling her how much it hurt. Throughout the 4 hour process, she stopped whatever she was doing to take NUMEROUS phone calls and kept me waiting way longer than was necessary. The appointment easily could have been 3-3.5 hours if she wasn't so distracted during it. This is not to mention that was was very aggressive when brushing and washing my hair. Regardless of me saying "Ouch" when she pulled on my hair with the brush, not being gentle at all, she just continued. I was extremely uncomfortable the whole time and just wanted to get it over with. I was clearly in pain and discomfort the whole time, even verbally expressing it, and she didn't care. It was also unnerving to have her discuss wild conspiracy theories about Covid-19 & phone tracking during the appointment. She even took off her mask/shield because "she couldn't see through it" regardless of the law's requirements. I couldn't recommend more that you avoid this place.
