Jen is so fantastic and really skilled at what she does! I had my first appointment with her over a month ago and the cut and color is holding up perfectly. I've had the same hairdresser for over a decade and was really nervous to try a new salon when i moved, but Jen was patient, kind and very reassuring when i started to get very anxious about the style change half way through the cut. She walked me through everything she was doing and did a superb job of calming me down, while doing really excellent work (even under a lot of pressure). The cut turned out fantastic and really frames my face, as she assured me it would, and the color is perfect for summer. I've received more compliments on this haircut in the last month than i have in the last few years. On top of the excellent hair style, Jen was a pleasure to chat with and she is very welcoming, friendly and professional. Her salon is immaculately clean and very cute and trendy and it really was a pleasure getting my hair done at her salon. One word...MAGIC! I moved to Rhode Island several years ago, and have had a hard time finding a stylist who can handle my curly hair and resistant gray. I have bounced from salon to salon for years. I finally gave up and started using a box color. You'll see the results of that disaster in the Before photos. I was referred to Jen by my sister, who has been a devoted client for over ten years. I live two hours away, but my hair was in such sad shape that I was willing to make the trip. Jen is a color magician. She spent the better part of a day using many techniques to conceal the dark bands of level-6 color that ran across the middle of my mostly level-7 head. She could've taken the easy way out, and just dyed my whole head with level-6 color, which would've left me way too dark. But she didn't. She used her powers with color and highlights to keep me at a level-7, while disguising the ugly bands of color until they can grow out. Add a gorgeous cut, and the After photos speak for themselves. I moved to Boston 6 years ago, and for the first 4 years, I went to countless different stylists because no one ever met the mark for me. My fiance has gone to Jen for three years, and when he suggested her to me a couple years ago, I figured I would give it a shot. I followed Jen from a fancy salon in Lexington to everywhere she has worked. She is AMAZING. She always knows what do to with your hair, even when I have no idea of what to do with it - she will make it look awesome. She is amazing with color - and the highlights last and the way she does them, there is no obvious grow out on the root. I think of Jen as not only my stylist but my friend.
