She's precise and always wants to make sure my hair is done the way I like it. For a wash, cut and style, it was $50 which was reasonable. I only cut my hair 2 times a year and will only have Lien do it. Last time I went was in March 2021. I had to wait outside for less than a minute until I was called in. They took my temperature, took my contact information for contact tracing and everyone was wearing a mask. I felt safe during the whole process. read more

You can immediately tell she is super skilled, precise, and meticulous. She listened to me and cut my hair at the exact length that I specified. She asked if I wanted layers and did a beautiful job--none of those uneven layers that I've gotten from less experienced hairdressers. Best of all, I was able to schedule a same-day appointment, and the price was very reasonable ($50 for my very long hair). I left the salon looking and feeling radiant. I had been a little nervous about getting my hair cut due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but they took every precaution to make them and their customers safe. I was not happy with my hair when I left. The picture speaks for itself. I even told them I did not like it because it was not blended well. The color looked brassy and just gross. The woman who did my hair said she really liked it on me. It felt like she was trying to convince me to like it because I was really iffy about it. She even tried to tell me that this was what I asked for. This was FAR from the picture that I showed her. She did not even offer to have me come back to fix it. I don't think I would've trusted this salon to fix it anyways. I spent 5+ hours here and spent $215 + tip for this, smh. I went to another salon a few days after to fix it and they even agreed that my hair was done poorly. Only good thing about this salon is that it is clean! I got a delightful shampoo/scalp massage, cut, and styling for $50, which was very reasonable. Lien did a wonderful job cutting in long layers and curtain bangs, and gave me a great little blowout heading into the weekend. On a whim, I decided to cut my hair last week. I looked up Vivi on yelp and decided to give it a go -- I am pleased as punch with my short hair cut. First, she has an assistant who thoroughly washes your hair and let me tell you -- this experience alone is worth coming for. After the first shampoo and rinse, he proceeded to give an awesome scalp massage, and then a good conditioning. Felt very luxurious!! Lien is no nonsense and asked me right away what kind of cut I was looking for. I showed her a pic of a short razor-cut bob with side bangs and she nodded in agreement. She is quick! The shape of the cut took no time at all and she expertly snipped and razored away a lot of hair. It looks fabulous. A week later and I'm still pleased. She cut it in a way that I can still make look good, even with my limited skillz with the blow dryer. Definitely coming back! And for the price of $32 plus tip, it really can't be beat. read more

I schedule my appointment for 5:30PM but they wrote it down for 6PM so I had to wait for a while. Everyone was very nice and they got me water while I waited. The woman who washed my hair did a fine job and massaged my head a little bit, which always feels nice. The gentleman who cut my hair did a fine job with my hair, but completely wrecked my bangs. I don't know what he did but he destroyed them, in my opinion. No one speaks English there, or at least not really which made it difficult to communicate. I got an amazing haircut here! First time I went to a place and actually came out loving my haircut straight away. I got a straight long bob which I loved. It was $38 but I tipped an extra $10 cause I love it so much. I'm planning on going back to get my hair dyed here as well. The experience was awesome, including the wash which came with a head massage which was so relaxing I felt like falling asleep. I went in for a trim on my bob cut. I did not like how they wash my hair. It was not comfortable, and I can tell the person washing my hair was not comfortable running water over sides and back of my head. I had some uneven hairs after a few day from the cut, but otherwise she got what I wanted. I called in 20 mins before I walked in, and told the salon was very busy, but she tried to squeeze me between appointments. When I walked in, there were no one. So it took me a few days to have a clear mind for this review. This was my first time in this salon and I was suggested to go to an Asian hair salon to have my hair dyed for the first time (I'm American-Asian). I have never done anything to my hair before besides shampoo, conditioner, and a hair dryer, but I've always wanted to dye my hair in a specific color since I was kid (but can't because I was discouraged deeply). I showed the stylist what color I wanted; to pop out and away from the roots. My hair is dark so I told her if I want to have this color and bleaching it is the only possible solution, I am willing to have it bleach. I know I have limited knowledge of hair style and such, so I didn't know any better. The stylist told me that they can make it possible without the bleach; said that the color will still pop out and stay permanent longer. I believed them cause they're the professional one; not I. I got more excited when I was told to not worry and they'll make me beautiful. At the end, my hair was in a different color. I was upset and they noticed. They then rushed to fixed by putting on my desired color, but I know it was too late. They argued that they didn't want to "kill" my hair dry and I should've said that I REALLY wanted it (which I did in the first place since I did show them the color and the picture). It was a waste of time, effort, and money. My energy was drained and I felt ripped off. My special day was ruined.. read more

I came here to get an ombré done on my hair. I've read really good reviews so I came, the customer service was good the owner was very nice! I have extremely dark jet black hair, and wanted a light blonde ombré like the ones you see on Instagram. She only bleached my hair once and then toned it, the after color came out a weird brassy yellow color. The good thing is she cut my hair into layers for free! the bad thing is she put highlights to make it look more "natural" but the highlights were a lighter shade than the blonde end of my hair! wished I could give a better review :( it took about $170 for my hair, overpriced in my opinion read more

I'd recently moved to this area and it was time to get my hair cut. Yikes! I was a little skeptical going in, because it seems like most of the reviews here were for cuts on "asian hair" (which I don't have), however everyone spoke to the professionalism and expertise at this place so I figured I'd try it out. (Besides, traditional American salons always gave me underwhelming results, so it was time to change it up a bit.) Honestly, I don't remember being this happy with a haircut in the last 10 years or so. She listened to what I wanted and really delivered. I'm sure it was a pain to work with my hair because of how long it was when I came in, but everyone did a great job. My hair feels so much lighter and fuller! (It's normally heavy and boring...) I was charged $35 before tip, which was very refreshing considering I'd gotten charged way more at other places for cuts that I wasn't nearly as happy with.
