Me and my date went Saturday and didn't realize there was a charge to enter. We used Uber and were dropped off at the entrance. No signs anywhere saying there was a charge. We'd been enjoying the entertainment and wine. Then an older man came up to us and was very rude and asked us where our bands were and we didn't have any. He in a very forceful voice demanded we immediately get up and go purchase bands at 15 Dollywood each which wasn't a problem. But the way he treated us was terrible. Everyone around us heard and watched as I tried to explain we didn't read we had to have bands. They came up to us and were very disappointed for the way we were treated. After being treated so poorly , we just left with our tail between our legs and very embarrassed Great Venue but he could have been a lot nicer. Put up signage stating wrist bands required We didn't know. read more

Arrived a La Belle Amie, didn't realize the winery charged for entrance to pick up a couple of bottles of wine. The parking woman was a sweetheart, we took a picture with her. Our experience with the mean gals collecting money was not at all a memorable encounter. It was a beautiful day, we were on a motorcycle, wanted to visit the gift shop and get just the wine, we were looked up and down and told no, we could not go purchase just wine and leave. No worries, went to Duplin, great winery, became a member after one glass, bought wine, t shirt and was treated with total respect. Tipped well-great time, will tell all my new neighbors in my 55+ community. read more

Full disclosure- I have never been to a wine tasting or vineyard before, so I did not know what to expect. I was visiting a friend who recently moved to Conway and she took me here for wine tasting since she has a membership. We went ahead and did the wine tasting, which was super fun. You get to pick 6 wines from the list, and also get to sample the hot mulled wine and the wine slushie. I thought this was a pretty good deal! Since I am not knowledge about wine in the slightest, I felt like I got to learn a lot about winemaking in general from the entertaining and informed staff and I also discovered I enjoy dry white wines the best. Also the mulled spiced wine is really, really delicious and you can buy the spice packs there to take home. The outside seating area is pretty, and there was a live musician and some craft and food vendors. Overall this is a pretty fun place to come and hang out. It definitely caters to an older crowd, but was still very enjoyable to someone in her twenties. When I return to Conway next, I would be happy to come back to this vineyard! read more

If there were 6 stars I would give them 7. We have visited here for 20 years. The grounds are beautifully kept and the owners and staff always make you feel welcome. We were just there and had lunch and a bottle of wine while enjoying the live music. Great place to spend an afternoon. Oh and the wines are excellent. From sweet to dry, something for everyone. Got sick from the taco truck, Tacos Michoacan. Had the steak tacos and it tasted funny. Not sure if this is a regular truck that comes to the vineyard often but definitely put a damper in my trip as a result of eating this food. The carnitas taco wasn't very good either no was the pollo. Perhaps this truck has served to way too many seniors who don't care about flavor. Honestly, stay away from the taco truck. read more

A very good winery tasting experiences. A beautiful setting. Food grilling, live music, folks sipping wine. Lovely grounds. Other beverages are available. We visited on a Wednesday around lunchtime. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Spent $10 for 7 pours each. The wines are quite varied and they buy most of their juice from other producers but do grow Muscadine. The vines look lovely as you drive into the place. I liked the Silver Tongued Devil, which was 100% M. Foch French varietal. We have tried wine made from this grape before in PA and VA. Very dark red color, dry with a hint of sugar. Very distinctive. Who thinks up these names for the wines anyway? My wife liked a light fruity white, Queen of the World, a Pinot Grigio. I have never had a vineyard hot dog before and had low expectations, but wow! I was very impressed by the topping options. I personally added chili, onions, mustard and relish which was delicious. It was also a great size, very large and comparable to a Costco dog, but 5 more dollars, thus the 4 star rating. read more

Love the surroundings. The music and the local wine. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The choice of food is very good and tasty. To have the option of purchasing from the food truck is great. The gift shop has a good variety of items. Unfortunately the tastings was poor due to the fact local wine choice was limited. I was not in the mood of tasting California wines as the other option. My favorite is Silver tongue devil a red wine from the Twisted Sister Winery. Definitely going back for some fun in the sun. read more

Loved this spot. While on vacation with family, my boyfriend and I decided to do a date day to the vineyard. We walked into the shop, briefly browsed and then decided to start our tasting. Kim was great! She helped us make great selections and even gave us additional tastings of any wine we particularly liked. This was on a Wine Wednesday, so the tasting was half priced, and there was live music outside. The only downside of our visit was the weather. There was live music outside, but the patio area was a little too damp to enjoy the atmosphere. So we opted for purchasing a few bottles of wine for later. Definitely worth the stop, especially to celebrate Wine Wednesday! read more

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. And either racism or incredibly stupid behavior (or both) is alive and well at this place. Until I got there, I did not know there was a festival going on, but spoke with the person handling parking that all I wanted was to go to the tasting room and get a sample. We had a very comical conversation as she thought I came for the festival and I was wondering why all the questions for a tasting! Had no idea there was a festival ( which had not started). I parked, walked down the pathway toward what I assumed was the tasting room. There was a tent with 5-6 people (older white females) for what I assumed was the festival. Since I was not going to the festival, I walked past. Someone shouted out "may I help you?" I said "no, I'm good, just going for a taste" Then it went something like this: Them: well the tasting room isn't open. Me: oh, I thought it was, I was told that it was open when I came in and that there is also a gift shop. Them: yes, only the gift shop is open Me: Fine, then I'm going to the gift shop Them: well what are you looking for? Them again: how long do you think you'll be? Me: (trying to not totally lose it on them and trying to be a little respectful) it's none of your business what I'm looking for. I assume I'm looking for gifts! And I don't know how long it will be...I guess it depends on how many gifts you have in this magical store. I say magical because the next words that came out of one of the hens mouth was some deal where I could buy a ticket, put my name on it, and come back for a refund! Me: are you serious? To walk in a gift shop? Never mind...if you're not interested in me spending money with you, I'm surely not. I'm out. I just walked away before I said worse. Sadly, the parking lot attendants got an earful, but honestly they asked what they told me and I honestly told them read more

Nice grounds and great location. But charge of $15 just to enter was unreasonable. Then bought lunch and beverages. Then paid for wine tasting. Then bought bottles of wine. No attraction for that $15 except an average local band. Not sure why the $15 admission is acceptable to those in attendance, but I personally found it insulting. This was a once and done experience for me. read more

Cool place to hang out outdoors for some good live music, wine, and hors d'oeuvres. Very, very casual since everything is outdoors except for the gift shop which is indoors. I'm a little disappointed that they still have chosen not to re-open even though it is almost July and the dining is completely outdoors with plenty of opportunity for social distancing. They are letting the locals down by refusing to open out of paranoia. Every other restaurant in town is open and most have indoor seating. I don't understand what's going on with this Vineyard. Maybe one of their staff has Covid? I have no idea. But the wine is made fresh there and it's OK. Like I said, it's just a pretty cool place for a group to get together in a casual setting... First time here. We had an awesome visit. My wife and I did a tasting. Crissy, was our bar tinder. She was awesome. She was very knowledgeable about all the wines which helped us decide which ones to try. We loved almost all of them and bought several. We are definitely making this a regular stop when we come down. The grounds are really nice with many different places to sit and enjoy your wine. They have a great selection of items in the gift shop as well. read more

A nice little wine maker. The shop is quaint and you can try the wines and dipping sauces. When you find your wine you and your friends can set out in the shade and drink to your hearts content. There is a very nice natural setting, friendly staff and guests, and some cute dogs Bella and Amie. Amie hides a lot but Bella likes to play ball (she will catch and roll the ball back to you). I went there in a trip a while back to visit a friend in the area. It was a very cute vineyard. If you like a sweet wine this is the vineyard for you, they do it very well. I tried a lot of wines in the tasting and the sweet ones stuck out to me the most. They have a large amount of land which lends its self well to events. The day I went they had live music and food trucks out. It was a lot of fun and the staff was very friendly and helpful. read more

We have visited La Belle Amie winery several times and although things are different due to COVID-19 and social distancing requirements, they did not disappoint. This winery has done an excellent job utilizing it's outdoor space to provide a unique experience for its customers. From the wine tastings, to food options, multiple outdoor seating options, and great live music, we truly enjoyed the experience and the fantastic customer service. Very nice place!!! Lots of stuff in the gift shop to look at. We went on a Wednesday afternoon and it was pretty crowded. It was during SOS Fall Migration, so that could have been the reason. There was live music also and plenty of places to sit and have a glass of wine. I felt because of the crowd, the wine tasting went really fast. Most of the wine tastings I've been to, they people will stop and explain the wines, how they were made. But because of the crowd, that was just not going to happen. Besides that everyone was really nice, the wines were good, especially the wine slushy and for the price, it was a really good deal. We did the wine tasting, got two wine glasses (Wine Wednesday you get half off the price of tastings). We also bought two of the wine slushies all for $20. Not bad at all. I just wished it would have been a little less crowded. read more

Hi Everyone, Johnny…read moreDee's be the place when you want to filla ya face! When you walk in to Johnny Dee's you are greeted with smiles, even at 8:00 AM. Their restaurant is very nicely appointed kinda like a Ski Lodge without snow and the fireplace (it's Myrtle Beach, yo) big, open, and inviting. Our Server Riley was personable, and polite. Our food was out fast, that's right, hot food! The Waffle with a side of bacon was "perfect" with a flavor fantastic, cinnamon forward taste and not too sweet but well balanced, I mean you can always get sugar rush from the syrup but you don't need it. The texture was soft and pliable. The side of bacon was again "perfectly cooked", and three big pieces, so yes Granny, you can save a piece and a half in your purse for your BLT at lunch. Their California Benedict, was "superb", with a terrific taste. Yes, you health freaks can go to Johnny's and keep you figure in tack, while you enjoy the feel of your meal. Then, last but not least, I got the Crab Beast, Benedict. Their portions on all of our meals were generous, but you will really get to feast, on the Crab Beast. I tried the spicy Remoulade sauce which Riley suggested that I put on the side and she was spot on. Thanks Riley! As I lightly tried it on one half of my Crab Beast Benedict, and for me the taste was harsh and just did not blend. However, that is my tastebud sensitivity. I also asked for the old bay on top of the hollandaise because I wanted to taste my poached egg, and that deliciously enthralling crab cake. Yea man, I am definitely a fan, because "it was a so nice", I ate it twice. While I realise that breakfast for some of us is break fast, a pop tart, or cinnamon roll and coffee. To me it sets the tone and tenner for my day. So if you want that pep in your (yea, the coffee for me, could be a little stronger but is good) step, and a song in your heart, than Johnny Dee's be the place when you want to filla ya face! Enjoy!

Such a lovely place to spend a Saturday afternoon for a wine festival. Grounds are beautiful. Staff is friendly & helpful Just be sure to arrive early, as overflow parking is on the lawn & can be messy affter a rain. read more

My wife heard about Coastal Vino via a FB group called Pelowinos and we figured we'd stop in for a drink. We are wine drinkers with fair to good knowledge about wine and were immediately impressed by the convivial and knowledgeable owner and master-of-ceremonies, David Coy. This is a wine shop/bar. When we arrived, there were friendly patrons at the few outside tables who pegged us for tourists (non-regulars) and made sure to point us to David inside. It was busy but we were able to get stools at the small bar. David asked us about our preferences and explained pricing and how one buys the bottle vs individual glasses to drink in-shop. Fellow patrons were very complimentary of the owner's knowledge and recommendations so we decided to let him choose a red for us. He chose an excellent Spanish old-vine garnacha. Perfect choice for us and we sat happily chatting with his friendly customers. The environment was part Cheers (but with wine) and part speak-easy. People were surprised that we stumbled upon this place and teased David about his store's countrywide reach. It was very friendly and welcoming considering many were regulars and local. Very fun and what a wine bar should be. Needless to say, we left with 3 bottles, two opened (which is allowed) and one recommendation that we decided to carry home. As a wine shop, it is well curated. You will not see the "plonk" that fills most other shops (and largely pays the bills). What you will find is a wine lover's oasis with quality selections from storied wine regions and some little known gems that David is happy to key you in on. As an aficionado of wine shops, I could easily tell I would like Coastal Vino and having a guy like David in your back pocket for recommendations is golden! I wish I was local because I would be there every week. If you are in the greater Myrtle Beach area, this is a great place to find fellow wine lovers and good bottles. Bottles seemed to be $20 and up. This isn't Total Wine ( thank God). This is a place for aficionados and aspiring wine lovers who understand that well made wine doesn't have to be expensive but isn't cheap. Coastal Vino strikes just that balance in an area ripe with possibilities. If you visit once, you will visit often. Cheers to David and his lively patrons!

The guy working behind the counter was super chill and personable -- he mentioned he had just started a few days ago, but you wouldn't have known it. He handled everything with ease and made the experience feel relaxed and fun. Every pour had its own personality, from sweet and tropical to crisp and refreshing. And of course, like most wineries these days, they also offer wine slushies -- and yes, I absolutely got one. I went with the Mango Passionfruit, and it was downright delicious. If you're visiting Broadway at the Beach, make Boardwalk Winery one of your first stops.
