Me and my date went Saturday and didn't realize there was a charge to enter. We used Uber and were dropped off at the entrance. No signs anywhere saying there was a charge. We'd been enjoying the entertainment and wine. Then an older man came up to us and was very rude and asked us where our bands were and we didn't have any. He in a very forceful voice demanded we immediately get up and go purchase bands at 15 Dollywood each which wasn't a problem. But the way he treated us was terrible. Everyone around us heard and watched as I tried to explain we didn't read we had to have bands. They came up to us and were very disappointed for the way we were treated. After being treated so poorly , we just left with our tail between our legs and very embarrassed Great Venue but he could have been a lot nicer. Arrived a La Belle Amie, didn't realize the winery charged for entrance to pick up a couple of bottles of wine. The parking woman was a sweetheart, we took a picture with her. Our experience with the mean gals collecting money was not at all a memorable encounter. It was a beautiful day, we were on a motorcycle, wanted to visit the gift shop and get just the wine, we were looked up and down and told no, we could not go purchase just wine and leave. No worries, went to Duplin, great winery, became a member after one glass, bought wine, t shirt and was treated with total respect. Full disclosure- I have never been to a wine tasting or vineyard before, so I did not know what to expect. I was visiting a friend who recently moved to Conway and she took me here for wine tasting since she has a membership. We went ahead and did the wine tasting, which was super fun. You get to pick 6 wines from the list, and also get to sample the hot mulled wine and the wine slushie. I thought this was a pretty good deal! Since I am not knowledge about wine in the slightest, I felt like I got to learn a lot about winemaking in general from the entertaining and informed staff and I also discovered I enjoy dry white wines the best. Also the mulled spiced wine is really, really delicious and you can buy the spice packs there to take home. The outside seating area is pretty, and there was a live musician and some craft and food vendors. Overall this is a pretty fun place to come and hang out. It definitely caters to an older crowd, but was still very enjoyable to someone in her twenties. When I return to Conway next, I would be happy to come back to this vineyard! read more

If there were 6 stars I would give them 7. We have visited here for 20 years. The grounds are beautifully kept and the owners and staff always make you feel welcome. We were just there and had lunch and a bottle of wine while enjoying the live music. Great place to spend an afternoon. Oh and the wines are excellent. From sweet to dry, something for everyone. Got sick from the taco truck, Tacos Michoacan. Had the steak tacos and it tasted funny. Not sure if this is a regular truck that comes to the vineyard often but definitely put a damper in my trip as a result of eating this food. The carnitas taco wasn't very good either no was the pollo. Perhaps this truck has served to way too many seniors who don't care about flavor. Honestly, stay away from the taco truck. read more

A very good winery tasting experiences. A beautiful setting. Food grilling, live music, folks sipping wine. Lovely grounds. Other beverages are available. We visited on a Wednesday around lunchtime. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Spent $10 for 7 pours each. The wines are quite varied and they buy most of their juice from other producers but do grow Muscadine. The vines look lovely as you drive into the place. I liked the Silver Tongued Devil, which was 100% M. Foch French varietal. We have tried wine made from this grape before in PA and VA. Very dark red color, dry with a hint of sugar. Very distinctive. Who thinks up these names for the wines anyway? My wife liked a light fruity white, Queen of the World, a Pinot Grigio. I have never had a vineyard hot dog before and had low expectations, but wow! I was very impressed by the topping options. I personally added chili, onions, mustard and relish which was delicious. It was also a great size, very large and comparable to a Costco dog, but 5 more dollars, thus the 4 star rating. read more

To have the option of purchasing from the food truck is great. The gift shop has a good variety of items. Unfortunately the tastings was poor due to the fact local wine choice was limited. Loved this spot. While on vacation with family, my boyfriend and I decided to do a date day to the vineyard. We walked into the shop, briefly browsed and then decided to start our tasting. Kim was great! She helped us make great selections and even gave us additional tastings of any wine we particularly liked. This was on a Wine Wednesday, so the tasting was half priced, and there was live music outside. The only downside of our visit was the weather. There was live music outside, but the patio area was a little too damp to enjoy the atmosphere. So we opted for purchasing a few bottles of wine for later. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. And either racism or incredibly stupid behavior (or both) is alive and well at this place. Until I got there, I did not know there was a festival going on, but spoke with the person handling parking that all I wanted was to go to the tasting room and get a sample. We had a very comical conversation as she thought I came for the festival and I was wondering why all the questions for a tasting! Had no idea there was a festival ( which had not started). I parked, walked down the pathway toward what I assumed was the tasting room. There was a tent with 5-6 people (older white females) for what I assumed was the festival. Since I was not going to the festival, I walked past. Someone shouted out "may I help you?" I said "no, I'm good, just going for a taste" Then it went something like this: Them: well the tasting room isn't open. Me: oh, I thought it was, I was told that it was open when I came in and that there is also a gift shop. Them: yes, only the gift shop is open Me: Fine, then I'm going to the gift shop Them: well what are you looking for? Them again: how long do you think you'll be? Me: (trying to not totally lose it on them and trying to be a little respectful) it's none of your business what I'm looking for. I assume I'm looking for gifts! And I don't know how long it will be...I guess it depends on how many gifts you have in this magical store. I say magical because the next words that came out of one of the hens mouth was some deal where I could buy a ticket, put my name on it, and come back for a refund! Me: are you serious? Cool place to hang out outdoors for some good live music, wine, and hors d'oeuvres. Very, very casual since everything is outdoors except for the gift shop which is indoors. I'm a little disappointed that they still have chosen not to re-open even though it is almost July and the dining is completely outdoors with plenty of opportunity for social distancing. They are letting the locals down by refusing to open out of paranoia. Every other restaurant in town is open and most have indoor seating. I don't understand what's going on with this Vineyard. I went there in a trip a while back to visit a friend in the area. It was a very cute vineyard. If you like a sweet wine this is the vineyard for you, they do it very well. I tried a lot of wines in the tasting and the sweet ones stuck out to me the most. They have a large amount of land which lends its self well to events. A nice little wine maker. The shop is quaint and you can try the wines and dipping sauces. When you find your wine you and your friends can set out in the shade and drink to your hearts content. There is a very nice natural setting, friendly staff and guests, and some cute dogs Bella and Amie. Amie hides a lot but Bella likes to play ball (she will catch and roll the ball back to you). We have visited La Belle Amie winery several times and although things are different due to COVID-19 and social distancing requirements, they did not disappoint. This winery has done an excellent job utilizing it's outdoor space to provide a unique experience for its customers. Very nice place!!! Lots of stuff in the gift shop to look at. We went on a Wednesday afternoon and it was pretty crowded. It was during SOS Fall Migration, so that could have been the reason. There was live music also and plenty of places to sit and have a glass of wine. I felt because of the crowd, the wine tasting went really fast. Most of the wine tastings I've been to, they people will stop and explain the wines, how they were made. But because of the crowd, that was just not going to happen. Besides that everyone was really nice, the wines were good, especially the wine slushy and for the price, it was a really good deal. We did the wine tasting, got two wine glasses (Wine Wednesday you get half off the price of tastings). We also bought two of the wine slushies all for $20. Not bad at all. I had so much fun at this vineyard. My husband and I went on a day that they had a festival with a live Blues and Jazz band. They have really nice patio seating, pavilions, and the cutest cellars. My favorite wine that I tasted was called "Spank Me Pink" ....pink and fruity, just the way I like my wine. We laid our picnic blanket on the lawn and listened to the band and enjoyed some really good pulled bbq pork and fries from one of their vendors. I realize that bbq in the south has a lot more flavor than the one in the northern states. We had a really good time here! read more
