I got my nails done last Thursday here and had the SNS dip powder manicure. The nail tech was so sweet and caring, she apologized for keeping me waiting even though it was barely 15 minutes. Her customer service skills are awesome. She was so friendly and immediately made me feel comfortable even though it was my first time here and you could tell that most customers were regulars. I loved that she filed the sides down to make sure that they would be even as the nails grow out. The 2 stars in my review are for her! Their selection of colors for the dip powder is much smaller than my usual salon but they have some really pretty choices. I picked a soft dark pink. After I left I noticed that my right thumb had a bump on it like something had got stuck to the nail before the top coat was applied and I couldn't get it off. I also saw that the nails on each hand were not the same length as each other (right and left pinky not the same length for example). At my other salon, the nail tech always compares each finger to the other hand to make sure they're the same length. The shape was also kind of uneven on some nails, but didn't notice until after I left and I should have said something because she's not a mind reader! So that's on me. What really disappointed me was that my nail broke two days after I got them done. I was there on Thursday and my nail broke Saturday night. I am not rough on my hands and do dishes with gloves on. I went back on Tuesday because Sunday was Easter and Monday they were closed. She gladly fixed it for me and was super apologetic, I felt a lot better after it was fixed. Unfortunately, two days after i got it fixed (Thursday) the same nail chipped again and the manicure started separating from the nail! The manicure fell apart twice in almost less than 1 week. Ugh! And as someone with a full time job, I don't have time to go every other day and get it fixed. As much as I wanted to love this place -and I loved my tech, I just can't justify $45 ($35 + $10 tip) for a manicure that CHIPPED TWICE IN ONE WEEK. I wanted to love this place because of the great reviews, but it didn't work for me. read more

I found this nail salon on Yelp, and decided to treat myself to a manicure before a big event! I live pretty far away (about 1.5h away), but I will definitely be visiting again. I originally called in to ask for the price of their services, and their receptionists speak perfect English, so that was already a plus. Their prices are very affordable too. I got a fresh set of tips with SNS and an Essie polish on top, and that came out to be $40. My regular salon in the Bronx charges close to $50 for the same thing. In addition, my nail technician was an absolute sweetheart! She was very thorough, detail oriented, and thoughtful. She knew how far away I lived so she gave me an extra layer of the SNS powder, so It wouldn't crack. On top of that, she made sure she was never too rough with the filing. Very sweet person! While the salon is not a luxury place, they provide great service. Most importantly, their salon was extremely hygienic and clean. I also got my sideburns waxed for the first time, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but here are the pics! They charged $5 for It. Again, super affordable! I hope this review helps people! read more

I just moved here from out of state. Came here yesterday to get a regular pedicure and a new acrylic set. The technicians were courteous and professional and were able to squeeze me in as a walk in. The nail tech took their time on the set, made sure I was happy with the length, thickness, curvature at every step of the way. Pedicure was a good experience as well - the salon is clean and quiet. They have a large range of Essie nail colors which was refreshing to see. Prices were very reasonable as well. Not to mention the massage chairs they have are awesome and work well. A friend recommended this place and from first appearances it looks alright. They don't have an extensive color selection but I did find colors that I liked. I called ahead to make an appointment. The location is alright; there is only street parking. I got a regular manicure and pedicure for $28 (not incl. tip) which isn't bad compared to prices in the city. I believe I had Maria and she was alright. The pedicure came out great. However, as you can see in the pictures attached, the manicure wasn't so great. My nails aren't evenly shaped and there was paint left on my skin. You can't see in the picture but did she did pinch some skin off, but there was no blood! I would go back again if I really needed a mani/pedi. But I do hope that the other technicians are better. This place only accepts CASH tips. read more

By far the best nail salon on Staten Island. I have visited so many places that had dust and garbage from previous customers that it won't matter sometimes how pretty your nails are. But SNS nail salon and spa is extremely clean and organized. You won't see even a small dot of water on their brightly polished floor and tables. I pay attention to details, every instrument that was used on me today was sterilized! They use only the best quality nail polish and color gel. This is by far the best nail salon on Staten Island. Lee (the owner) has been doing my nails for the past 8 month and I refuse to go anywhere else. She is so attentive to detail and always makes sure that I always leave satisfied! The workers are very polite and they provide excellent customer service. The store is so clean, they have a huge selection of colors, and the staff is kind to their customers, I mean what more can you ask for?!
