I found them through a Google and Yelp search with glowing reviews and competitive prices while searching for self-care places on my wedding preparation journey. Scheduling an appointment online through their website is easy and they have two locations for your convenience. When I walked in, the front staff greeted and checked me in promptly, the front area is inviting, space is clean and tastefully decorated. I came in feeling so nervous, almost on the verge of tears from how anxious I was due to how sensitive my skin is. Grace melted those worries away as I built trust from her expertise and care. Grace is professional, polite, and personable. Her gentle technique and mindfulness for sensitivity made the wax bearable. However, after they recently installed a new system, I started receiving an unusual amount of text messages, sometimes two per day, since March. With my appointment coming up this week, I simply wanted to make them aware that something might be off with the system. Instead of a constructive response, I was met with arguments and harsh replies, presumably from the owner or an assistant. When I mentioned that maybe I should consider canceling my appointment, they took it upon themselves to cancel it without further discussion. The entire exchange was unprofessional, curt, and certainly not how I would expect a loyal, monthly client who tips generously to be treated. Their response was essentially, "We'll solve the problem by canceling your appointment." That's not a solution.it's a poor attempt at damage control. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone based on that experience. What they didn't expect was that I'd be able to find another salon just around the corner, with amazing reviews and no issues booking an appointment within minutes. To whoever is managing the phone or client communication: I suggest putting the phone down, taking a breath, and thinking carefully before responding in such a dismissive and unprofessional manner. I am a victim of 90's/early 00's ultra thin brows and over plucking so she's had her work cut out. We started by getting the shape and color to where I want it (for what I currently have). Then we started doing henna dying to try and help stimulate the hair growth wile still achieving the color I want. Now, I'm finally to a point where we can laminate them to help make them appear more full. I'll be alternating henna and lamination with an added brow serum to keep my progress moving forward!
