I live right up the street from here. I came here a month ago because I heard how awesome the carne asada was. Well, hello Coronavirus! I've been looking for tp the entire week and couldn't find anything. Found it here. I love this market. I ended up with a package of tp (thank you!!!). But I also went shopping to support this place. I bought a pound of carne asada, the everything that's delicious that goes with it, some homemade tortillas and some rice pudding popsicles. Now, I'm a gringa ( lololo), but don't let that fool you. I grew up in a mexican restaurant where my mom was a manager for over 20 years. I know good carne asada when I taste it. It's the best. The produce is the best. The people that work there are the best! Xoxoxoxo Love you guys!!!

Local market for fresh vegetables, carniceria & other staple Mexican foods (fresh salsa & guac made in tubs). Love their marinated carne asada & marinated chicken for homemade tacos! Also has a juice bar & paleteria (popsicles). Love their green juice.

They have all your typical liquor store needs: alcohol, sodas, snacks, beach items, etc. But they also come packed with fruits and veggies and favorite premade lunch/dinner items. I recently grabbed a turkey sandwich on a hoagie roll and a slice of lemon bundt cake (my payment for doing a social activity.) They don't sell lots…read moreof overly processed foods and you can get some quality ingredients here; however price points can be on the high side. I come here looking for specific things like natural maple syrup and high quality flour. I tend to not get fruits and I tend to find more items here from small businesses than brand name spots, so I'll sporadically find things here to impulse buy. They also have lots of prepared self-service hot foods and a poke bar if you want a meal to go. My favorite thing here are their fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, priced at $3.75. They sell so many of them, that they're constantly putting out fresh batches. I've come in four times this year for it and it's been hot and fresh every time! I find that outstanding as I've been to stand alone bakeries with cookies that weren't as fresh as they are here. The cookie is massive and has high quality ingredients you can taste. It's as good of a chocolate cookie as you can find anywhere. Come get some, because if they keep up the high turnover, then I can keep eating them hot and fresh!

I've had issues with the fresh cheese cut in-store, which unfortunately tasted off and had a strong ammonia-like flavor. I will be returning it tomorrow for a refund. This experience has put me off buying their fresh cheeses going forward. I'm also not particularly impressed with the pre-cooked deli selection. There are frequent things that make me hesitate to purchase, such as a recent fish dish that was heavily overdone with capers to the point it felt unbalanced. That said, I do still come in occasionally because they carry some hard-to-find items. I've found excellent coffee here, and I've enjoyed their crab cakes. Customer service has also been very mixed. I had a particularly unpleasant experience with a cashier who had a poor attitude when I was overcharged for an item that was marked differently on the shelf than what I was charged. I went back to show the original price tag, even retrieving the torn portion to demonstrate it matched. Despite this, I was treated as if I might be trying to manipulate the price over a difference of about two dollars. There was no apology, just a dismissive and rude demeanor. The correction was eventually made, but it was handled awkwardly, and I was handed multiple receipts while my original receipt for other purchases was not returned. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed, not because of the pricing issue itself, but because of how it was handled. Overall, I still stop in for a few specialty items, but my confidence in consistency and customer service has definitely been affected. The ambiance of the store is nice. The parking lot it can often be a nightmare.

The majority of the staff I have encountered--outside of one kind gentleman who is technically a third-party representative and not directly employed by the Aldi brand--have been truly unprofessional. Although there is no excuse for this behavior, it does not appear to stem from dissatisfaction with their jobs. In fact, many of the employees seem content. Rather, it is the attitude and manner in which certain clientele are treated that comes across as distasteful and disrespectful. On multiple occasions, I have witnessed and experienced childish tactics from employees. This has included making comments such as, "You better move out of the way," as customers are navigating the aisles. There have also been instances where employees appeared to aggressively toss or move boxes directly beside customers as they were attempting to pass by. While I understand that inventory stocking occurs throughout the day, there are professional standards and common courtesy practices that should be maintained during business hours. From time to time, there are also aggressive customers who behave as though they are entitled to bully others simply because they believe they can. Example: The cart return area has three lines for customers to choose from. On one of these occasions, I was placing my cart back and gathering my groceries when, out of nowhere, I saw another customer mad-dashing toward where I was standing. She then aggressively started yelling, name-calling, shouting, and scoffing in the most unladylike fashion. She gestured that she needed to return her cart; mind you, there were two or three other lanes that were open and available. Yet, she was insistent upon badgering me to drop everything I was doing during my grocery experience to appease her ill repute. Absolutely not. I am unsure whether she may have been attempting to scam me, as she was desperately trying to get me to leave my fully loaded shopping cart unattended, exposing my wallet and groceries. The security who had been on duty and watching the incident did nothing to prevent further harassment. Noting, a continuation of "selective" targeting and job performance. I've also noticed that some of the security will abandon their position to go stand in certain areas of the store and touch store product. I found this odd as I do not see how that is conducive to their "supposed" role of providing safety. Unfortunately, the negative attitudes displayed by some employees seem to mirror this same energy, creating an unnecessarily uncomfortable shopping environment. Nonetheless, I genuinely enjoy the Aldi brand and appreciate the products they offer. For that reason, I will likely continue shopping at this location. However, it would be in Aldi's best interest to address the conduct of some of the individuals representing the business. Improved professionalism, stronger customer service standards, and greater accountability would significantly enhance the overall shopping experience.
