ethikli has become my new favorite store to shop in. i first stepped foot into it a few months ago after walking outside a coffee shops that's located right next to it. the inside is extremely clean and everything is placed neatly. there's tons of spices, self care material, soaps, nuts, beans, and everything you can imagine. the first time i came i absolutely fell in love with the almond butter, there's also peanut and cashew putter that you're able to manually make with their machine. the way the store works is you bring a bunch of clean empty jars (or they have some for sell & some free jars as well that were donated) and you weigh it and place a sort of magnetic chip on it. once you've weighed all your containers you start filling it with anything in the store and weigh it again to pay in the front. it's so refreshing to see plastic free stores becoming normalized and this is exactly the place to start your process in. 10/10 my favorite store so far !!!

I am so IN LOVE with this store! I've committed to producing less waste and trash and Ethikly helps me do that. I've read other reviews on here about some of the products being on the expensive side, but MANY of your day to day items are very inexpensive such as beans, rice, oil, spices, lentils, chia seeds, flax seeds, etc. If you're committed to producing less waste, then simply commit to the affordable day to day items at Ethikly... even switching a couple of your day to day items to package free can make a big difference on the planet. BIG thanks to Katy for creating this gem of a resource in our community. I'm a weekly shopper here and always will be! I can't praise this store highly enough! Oh, and you MUST try the the Rosemary & Garlic Sprouted Almonds, the Garlic Cashews, and the Spicy Pickles!!!! Those 3 I buy every time I shop as they are DELISH and my favorites.

katy even has a plant tower! :')

Katy's place is clean, so well put together, and reasonably priced! She clearly has personal connections with a lot of the vendors and is ready with recommendations for your refills :) The shop even has a plant tower and she's in the works of providing fresh herbs for purchase. Cannot recommend enough & wish I lived closer.

The guy that made it was an older gentleman, no name tag but super sweet. I saw they pickle their onions and make their pickles in house. Dope! This one had a Dr. Bronners refill station which was pretty cool! Stores clean, employees are great, again they had the LB merch section and envirotokens. Highly recommend exploring this spot when you get a chance. Warning, it's an expensive addiction.

I hope they continue the breakfast special bc it's such a good deal for folks that don't otherwise shop at the market due to pricing. I ordered over easy eggs, roasted sweet potatoes and toast with butter and jam. The eggs were PERFECT!! Kudos to the maker bc all the white was cooked but the yolk was all there...like literally no cooked yellow, at all. Perfection. Sweet potatoes are yummy and the sourdough toast is so big it's enough to sop up all the delicious yolk with one left over to have with jam for dessert lol (and I think it's raspberry right now or maybe even blackberry, so tasty). And it comes with coffee . Plus bc the order didn't go in until I got there they let me top off my coffee and apologized for a second time (it was no fault of theirs but the courtesy was so nice). Upon entering this market I'm greeted by a nice man he says hi as well as a staff member telling me thanks for stopping by. I do notice that there is a strong odor in the store it doesn't bother me and I shop aisle by aisle to see what they have. There is not much of what I wanted to try and looking for. The produce was alright but I noticed that they have a lot of items older goods that were close to expiring, food products especially canned and bottled items etc. please be careful and check the expiration dates. The store is small but I can't seem to find much of anything. I settled on a few random things and made my way to the counter. The meat area wasn't stocked with much and what they had didn't look very fresh or appealing. Dried garlic Older container but I bought it to try. Cucumber was fresh Most of the produce appeared fresh. Strawberry Shortcake ice cream bar I bit a corner It was expired and tasted bad. Beef jerky looks good. I'll review and update tomorrow. Nan - a spicy fermented sausage I came specifically to try this. Pork cracklings It expires in 1 1/2 months I should have checked the expiration date to avoid wasting. $3.89 My goal was to show support and I'm glad I did that. I spent $28.64. First of all the owner and his staff are good people kind and helpful but I feel they need some help getting that store together the pics on Yelp do not match with the store saw. I would do a disservice to the public if I wasn't truthful on my review of this store. In my opinion it needs restructuring cleaning, product shelf updating and sanitize the meat area. immediately. I wish them success and hope they see this review as constructive criticism and address my complaints and issues. Just me Shawn C.

The majority of the staff I have encountered--outside of one kind gentleman who is technically a third-party representative and not directly employed by the Aldi brand--have been truly unprofessional. Although there is no excuse for this behavior, it does not appear to stem from dissatisfaction with their jobs. In fact, many of the employees seem content. Rather, it is the attitude and manner in which certain clientele are treated that comes across as distasteful and disrespectful. On multiple occasions, I have witnessed and experienced childish tactics from employees. This has included making comments such as, "You better move out of the way," as customers are navigating the aisles. There have also been instances where employees appeared to aggressively toss or move boxes directly beside customers as they were attempting to pass by. While I understand that inventory stocking occurs throughout the day, there are professional standards and common courtesy practices that should be maintained during business hours. From time to time, there are also aggressive customers who behave as though they are entitled to bully others simply because they believe they can. Example: The cart return area has three lines for customers to choose from. On one of these occasions, I was placing my cart back and gathering my groceries when, out of nowhere, I saw another customer mad-dashing toward where I was standing. She then aggressively started yelling, name-calling, shouting, and scoffing in the most unladylike fashion. She gestured that she needed to return her cart; mind you, there were two or three other lanes that were open and available. Yet, she was insistent upon badgering me to drop everything I was doing during my grocery experience to appease her ill repute. Absolutely not. I am unsure whether she may have been attempting to scam me, as she was desperately trying to get me to leave my fully loaded shopping cart unattended, exposing my wallet and groceries. The security who had been on duty and watching the incident did nothing to prevent further harassment. Noting, a continuation of "selective" targeting and job performance. I've also noticed that some of the security will abandon their position to go stand in certain areas of the store and touch store product. I found this odd as I do not see how that is conducive to their "supposed" role of providing safety. Unfortunately, the negative attitudes displayed by some employees seem to mirror this same energy, creating an unnecessarily uncomfortable shopping environment. Nonetheless, I genuinely enjoy the Aldi brand and appreciate the products they offer. For that reason, I will likely continue shopping at this location. However, it would be in Aldi's best interest to address the conduct of some of the individuals representing the business. Improved professionalism, stronger customer service standards, and greater accountability would significantly enhance the overall shopping experience.
