I came down to grab something and was real stoked, i noticed they were closing but saw that their time to close was 7:30pm.. but they closed down at 6:30pm... I went to ask the young boy about the shop closing and he said they're closed. I accepted the time because i assumed the best and believed the kid. But then i saw him allow three more people to come in and purchase items? It was just very odd.. cute patio though!

Super cute little convenience store with a wide array of drinks and a little kitchen! Was here around 8 am on Sunday and they had a few people and phone orders being placed. Got a breakfast burrito with sausage, bacon, egg, cheese & potato with an Arizona tea and a chocolate muffin. Decent portions for $20! Very cute backyard seating area however there were a TON of flies. I'm not sure if anything can be done about that ‍ so if the flies are out I recommend sitting in the front.

One of the best breakfast burritos I've had and it's always consistently great. Be sure to get a side of the spicy sauce. My usual order is eggs, cheese, soyrizo, and potatoes. Call ahead on weekends! They make them as fast as they can!

Definitely a neighborhood spot. I've see kids go in and can use their parents tabs. They have single beers. And tables out front. Daily specials. What I know so far: Sunday: lasagna and coffee cake Wednesday: fried chicken. Everyone kept coming in asking for tenders. It looked like daily specials came out like noonish. They were out of tenders by 4/5ish. Pre made sandwiches for $10 (a bit pricey) but good to grab. Fresh bread and has a lot of staples in case you need something

I was introduced to this local spot by my husband, and it has quickly become one of our favorite places. It's a small grocery store and restaurant, but it offers a welcoming atmosphere and a great sense of community. Although I don't typically eat burritos, I had heard such positive feedback that I decided to try one--and I'm so glad I did. They are consistently delicious. We now make it a point to visit every weekend with our little one, and each time we're met with good food, friendly people, and great overall vibes. The coffee is also excellent--according to my husband, who is quite particular when it comes to his coffee. This place has truly become a special part of our routine.

One of the best breakfast burritos I have had in a long time. Got the egg and bacon burrito and added potatoes. At $13 and some change, they are not giving them away, but eggs are expensive these days and the size was impressive for that money and the taste was exceptional. At least 3 eggs in that bad boy, thick crispy bacon, cheese and I got the "hot" salsa and it had a great kick to it. Just a well made, well balanced burrito and everyone at the tables out front was eating burritos, so that should tell you something. Very cozy and relaxing location tucked a residential neighborhood in Belmont Heights. A little garden, fresh flowers, saloon doors, and simple wooden picnic tables. Definitely a neighborhood bodega with a hippy, blue collar, hangout vibe. A pot of simple coffee brewing, local products for sale on the shelves, some household goods and necessities, craft beer for sale, and a bunch of breakfast and lunch items both hot and cold (like sandwiches and pasta salad and such). The breakfast burrito was the star of the show for me tho.

If your looking for something fast to grab while you're out but want it to taste like you made it at home, this is the place to go! This little grocery outlet doesn't really stand out on the street but it is such a cute little hole in the wall that you'll love! The inside is really small but they have everything you could possibly need, from toiletries, to groceries, to grabbing a quick drink. The real kicker is that they have amazing sandwiches, burgers, and breakfast burritos! They also have a cute little backyard you can sit and eat at. My boyfriend took me for a quick bite this morning and not only were the workers so kind, but the food was so delicious. We both got the breakfast burrito with bacon and added avocado and potatoes. The eggs and bacon were perfectly cooked and the potatoes were soft and buttery with the skin on, just the way I like it. Overall, not only is it a cute place to go, but the food was delicious and the price was very reasonable. Would go again!

Simple, honest food done right. Definitely coming back for more Ma & Pa Grocery is one of those hidden neighborhood gems you're so glad you found. Super homey, and the kind of place that feels like it's been part of the community forever. Their breakfast burrito is a must

My colleague first brought me here, to his neighborhood breakfast spot. By breakfast spot, he meant breakfast burritos. This is truly a neighborhood spot. It's got that 1800s country store vibe. A little bit of everything to sell, in addition to breakfast burritos and coffee. The breakfast burritos are pretty decent. You can eat at one of the few tables in the front patio, or the covered garden in the back.

Great local spot in Belmont heights. Inside is a grocery store with lots of options. was busy at this time i went but the staff handled the rush well. the breakfast burrito w/ bacon is my go too. haven't had the chance to try much else but everything they have looks delicious.

Cute little convenience store that has a deli with amazing breakfast burritos. The service was great and the burritos only took a few minutes to be ready. There was a case of ready made sandwiches, lasagna, casseroles that all looked great, too. We got two burritos: one bacon and one sausage and added potatoes, avocado, and sour cream with spicy salsa. They are huge and came out piping hot. I would definitely add potatoes and avocado next time but would skip the sour cream. All street parking but we went on a Tuesday, so we easily found a spot. There are a few small tables out front. We'll for sure visit the next time we're in the area!

I've seen talks of the breakfast burrito on social media for some time now. I finally tried it this week. It was GOOD! Probably one of the best breakfast burritos I've had (I've been trying to find me a favorite). I avocado added a delicious touch. *chefs kiss* I will definitely go back.

This place is so cozy. It looks like an Italian little supermarket. You can also order food and eat it there. There's a cozy patio in the back. Ambiance is very welcomy. Food is tasty. You order and eat outside if you'd like. Good variety of wine and beer. Service is friendly. Close to 2nd street if you want to take a walk.

I bought some good quality food at reasonable prices. Definitely didn't break the bank. This location is small, but had everything I needed. Only thing was lacking was customer service. The majority of the staff I have encountered--outside of one kind gentleman who is technically a third-party representative and not directly employed by the Aldi brand--have been truly unprofessional. Although there is no excuse for this behavior, it does not appear to stem from dissatisfaction with their jobs. In fact, many of the employees seem content. Rather, it is the attitude and manner in which certain clientele are treated that comes across as distasteful and disrespectful. On multiple occasions, I have witnessed and experienced childish tactics from employees. This has included making comments such as, "You better move out of the way," as customers are navigating the aisles. There have also been instances where employees appeared to aggressively toss or move boxes directly beside customers as they were attempting to pass by. While I understand that inventory stocking occurs throughout the day, there are professional standards and common courtesy practices that should be maintained during business hours. From time to time, there are also aggressive customers who behave as though they are entitled to bully others simply because they believe they can. Example: The cart return area has three lines for customers to choose from. On one of these occasions, I was placing my cart back and gathering my groceries when, out of nowhere, I saw another customer mad-dashing toward where I was standing. She then aggressively started yelling, name-calling, shouting, and scoffing in the most unladylike fashion. She gestured that she needed to return her cart; mind you, there were two or three other lanes that were open and available. Yet, she was insistent upon badgering me to drop everything I was doing during my grocery experience to appease her ill repute. Absolutely not. I am unsure whether she may have been attempting to scam me, as she was desperately trying to get me to leave my fully loaded shopping cart unattended, exposing my wallet and groceries. The security who had been on duty and watching the incident did nothing to prevent further harassment. Noting, a continuation of "selective" targeting and job performance. I've also noticed that some of the security will abandon their position to go stand in certain areas of the store and touch store product. I found this odd as I do not see how that is conducive to their "supposed" role of providing safety. Unfortunately, the negative attitudes displayed by some employees seem to mirror this same energy, creating an unnecessarily uncomfortable shopping environment. Nonetheless, I genuinely enjoy the Aldi brand and appreciate the products they offer. For that reason, I will likely continue shopping at this location. However, it would be in Aldi's best interest to address the conduct of some of the individuals representing the business. Improved professionalism, stronger customer service standards, and greater accountability would significantly enhance the overall shopping experience.
