It was really poorly done. To Marion's credit, she fixed it after I returned an hour later but I still did not get the look I hoped for. So, just as a precautionary suggestion: If you have locs and want them highlighted, go to someone who is a colorist of locs. Marion is very good at other hair styles, but I would not go to her to have my locs colored again. I respect Marion's work in general, but do your research.

She charges $30 which is SUPER CHEAP. Try her once, and for the price is she unbeatable! That's $30 - for a wash, cut & blow dry. She does take credit cards, Visa & Mastercard, not AMEX. There is free street parking right in front of the store, and I have never had to park more than a block away.

Plus, it's almost impossible to get a quality haircut for cheap nowadays so I don't mind. My sister just got her hair cut her today and for the majority of the time I was sitting in the chair next to her looking through her makeup drawers (i'm a fanatic and she let me!). It is now a week past my last visit to the shop and my hair is still fabulous. My only gripe is that this place is in Harlem and I cant find anywhere closer to my NJ residence or BK job :-(

Shiny and very professional. I knew I could trust them as soon as I saw a sterilizing machine and a customer with amazing looking nails walking out. The process was: file, remove cuticles, cuticle oil, soak, buff, wash, base coat, two paint coats, and then a sealing coat, then cuticle oil and drying. By the way, we're twelve, but they treated us with full professional respect as they would with an adult. The nail tech (I missed her name) kept asking my friend and me if we liked the nails (which of course we said yes to!)
