I was there today and made a big order 4 classic hamburgers 1 quesadilla 3 Gorditas 2 tacos When we arrived we asked if there was hot dogs and the cashier said no so we ordered the 4 hamburgers. I paid and told the cashier someone else would be picking up the order. When the person picking up arrived they first told her there was no lettuce I said ok no big problem after a few minutes I get another call that there was no buns. I said what well 50 minutes past and nothing from the order was done. I asked to talk to the cashier and she told me she was sorry that she wasn't there yesterday so she had no idea she didn't have what she needed for the food I told her if she's the one opening she has to make sure she's ready for the day and she told me she arrived late and didn't have time to check. I worked in a restaurant for 7 years and we always made sure we were ready for the day. I'm really disappointed of this place. I did get my money back but they did us wrong we ended up eating Mcdonalds because our lunch was over. read more

This place is way overpriced, there is no prices on the menu... they act as if they don't speak English so they took the order and overall was not some place that feels like a hole in the wall Gem.... I will never recommend more will I return to this place. Good luck with the $4.20 street taco. This place is amazing! We ordered 2 elotes chorreados, one would have been enough for 2 people lol. We also ordered a clamato preparado and a piña raspado with lechera it was so flavorful and made with natural pineapple. The clamato preparado was huge, and it came with shrimp, celery and carne seca the good kind like from Mexico! I can't wait to come back and try their hamburgers and crepes! read more

This place is a true hole-in-the-wall gem. It's hidden in a mostly residential neighborhood but they take pride in the food they are putting out. Keep in mind you're likely going to have someone at the counter who speaks very little English, so study the menu before you head in. I highly recommend the La Bombom burger, which is a deluxe double cheeseburger with ham and hot dogs layered in alongside the cheeseburger, with a side of fries and a roasted jalapeño. They also have all the street food snacks like elotes, dorinachos, carne asada fries, wings (Buffalo or Bbq), quesadillas, and some tasty desserts. Nice family business in North Aurora. We got the bombon( double hamburger, hot dog, ham, bacon), tejano (with roasted chile), and dorinachos (doritos with queso, corn, jalapenos, cotjia). Pretty darn good. Will come back for aguas frescas and ice cream. read more

Been here two days in a row already and can see myself returning everyday this week if I could. We have tried the veggie burger, the guac burger, bacon wrapped hotdogs, crepes and their aguas so far. Everything is delicious, freshly prepared, and made with top quality ingredients. This is no run of the mill neveria. This is THE BEST place in the area to get your food and desserts. A welcome addition to the neighborhood, for sure! Delicious burgers, no doubt. But to me the fries are what made the email next level. They have a lot going on at El Bombon. The menu is available in English and Spanish, it just wasn't clear where to find everything on the menu when you walk in. There pictures of their food all over the wall and four or five tv screens sprawling the length of the service counter. I knew going in I wanted a burger, but didn't realize each screen displayed a different menu. So it took me a few minutes to realize I had to walk to the opposite side of the restaurant from the cashier to see the burger options. It was a delicious burger no doubt, and the experience will be much smoother the next time I go since I have it figured out. It would be nice for a paper menu at the cash register or some more clarity for a first time customer as to where to find their options. Will definitely be back and am so glad this place is right around the corner from where I live! read more

We have been in to El Bombón three times in the last week. We've had their burgers, quesadillas, snacks, fries, ice cream and other snacks and everything has been delicious. Everything is prepared right in front of you by the super friendly staff. They seem to remember their regulars too which makes it extra nice.
