This is still the best neveria I have ever been to and the only mangonada I will eat now! There is not always someone fluent in English when you come, and I know that can be intimidating. So when you want to order simply say "me (mee) gustaria (goose-ta-rhia) " (I would like) before whatever item you would like and then add "grande" (large) or "pequeno" (small) at the end. Finish it off with "por favor" (thank you) to politely order whatever you want! For example - I want a large mangonada please would be "me gustaria una mangonada grande Por favor" Hopefully this helps! read more

This place is great! We came here late evening for dessert and really enjoyed what we had ordered. We ordered the churro waffle with baileys salted ice cream and it was delicious. I really like that the waffle was soft and fluffy because you don't feel TOO guilty eating it - less heavy, ya know? I'm pretty impressed that they make their own ice cream in house and had really unique flavors such as tequila. Service was a bit slow, but that's only because the patrons in line ordered like... 3 to 4 items each and there were only 3 employees. I dunno, Indy? we had the hardest time deciding what to order after drooling over the menu and watching the women buzz around making fruit salads, fresas con crema (strawberries with made in house cream), mangonadas, chicharrones (with cheese topping), homemade ice cream, and paletas. This fruit forward menu resulted in a beautiful display. We ended up ordering a large mangonada to share (it was quite large). If you're new to mangonadas, they include mango sorbet, tamarind, chili spice, chamoy and chunks of fresh mango. The straw was wrapped with spicy and delicious tamarind. Thanks to this visit, I was reminded of a spot we enjoy in Indy for Mexican desserts. While there, the line did not stop and I can understand why. read more

We ordered 5 different flavors of ice cream, and all of them were ok, but honestly I've had better from King Soopers. They have a good variety but none of the flavors we tried made us want to come back again. I'd rather have a smaller variety of quality ice cream than a huge variety of mediocre ice cream. Reading other reviews though, it seems that their other offerings might be worth the visit. But the ice cream? Nope. On the plus side, it was very clean and modern looking inside. There is parking directly in front... Although I never noticed it before. It was a bit odd to see an ice cream sign outside and then pictures of shrimp cocktails and nachos on the front menu board. I was stumped. Heck I could not even find the prices for a scoop of ice cream but so happy with what I ordered and it was crazy affordable. I ended up with a single scoop of the strawberry and a small chamango which is what I usually got at their other store. It's like a mango slush/Sorbet with lots of chili and lime, topped off with fresh mango slices...yummm! I took a couple ice cream bars with me, coconut, watermelon and of course, mango chili.
