This is a great spot to grab brunch if you are looking for something different than the standard American brunch. I got the Aztec burrito, which was fabulous- tender steak, fresh avocado, and excellent green chile. I ordered medium and it wasn't very spicy- I would feel safe ordering it hot next time. While the burrito was very good, I would be tempted to try some of their other items on the menu- the French toast and horchata latte looked really good when I walked past them on other tables. They also had a gorgeous rack of pastries that I am dying to try. The decor was beautiful and minimalist- I loved the fresh roses on every table! Our servers were friendly and worked really hard, even though they were slammed at 10am on a Saturday. Parking wasn't bad even though they were busy, as there was plenty of street parking. Santos Café has some of the best conchas I've had. They're incredibly soft, fresh, and flavorful, and the portion sizes are excellent & you definitely get your money's worth. The only downside is the lack of vegetarian friendly options. They don't offer meat substitutes like shrimp or fish, so if you don't eat meat, there are really only one or two menu items to choose from. I'd love to see them expand the menu with a few more pescatarian or vegetarian options because I'd come back even more often. Overall, if you're going for the pastries, especially the conchas, I highly recommend it. read more

It was quite busy on a Saturday around 11, but we only waited about 10 min to get a table for 6. (They do have some larger booth tables which is nice). The horchata matcha drink was pretty good. Santos Cafe has been popping up a lot lately and overall, it delivers, with a few caveats. Be prepared to wait. Even for a table of two, we were quoted about 30 minutes, and it felt like larger groups would easily push closer to the 45-minute to an hour range. It also doesn't quiet down once you're inside- the space is tight, loud, and a bit chaotic, with energy that borders on post-night-out frenzy. That said, the food is the true star. The chilaquiles are beautifully presented and packed with flavor. I ordered the Christmas chilaquiles, and while the green sauce was delicious, the red sauce fell a bit flat - I'd skip it next time or hope for a ranchero alternative. Adding al pastor was a great move and really brought everything together. Huge portions, with plenty of sauce and cotija, and I easily had enough left for another full meal. We also tried the fajita burrito, which came with a flavorful ranchero sauce,, though the chilaquiles were still the standout. The horchata latte was another highlight - delicious. Overall, Santos Cafe feels like elevated Tex-Mex with more flavor and colorful presentation. It's a place I'd return to, though probably when I'm in the mood to embrace the slightly chaotic atmosphere. 10/10, I'm sad that I don't live here because I'd be here every week. Run don't walk. Parking is ok, plenty of spots, at busier times you'd have to find street parking. Service was amazing! Their staff is primarily women who are kind, friendly, and provide excellent customer service. The food took less than 10 minutes to bring out even when the restaurant was packed; phenomenal. Food is remarkable, they have a huge menu and the cost matches the portions that they served. I had the Azteca Burrito and it was excellent I also had a Mexican Coke. They have a unique menu, they elegantly pair a sit in experience along with a coffee shop feel. They give both their coffee options, and food options much love; to my surprise they had matcha options!! I've only eaten here once but I can see they adapt their menu to what the people watch kudos to them! This Restaurant is more compact but holds plenty of season and you're not too close to strangers. They have a lot of valentines decor which was awesome to see, subtle and doesn't scream a holiday. Santos is probably one of my favorites places to grab breakfast or brunch. Beginning with an abuelita hot chocolate and a concha is my favorite way to take on the day! I love abuelita hot chocolate so much with all of its warmth and spiced chocolatey goodness. I got to the restaurant a little later in the day so at that point they only had yellow conchas but it still did not disappoint. I took my partner with me and he said it was the first time that a concha was actually good to him because it served warmed and it feels more moist than most conchas. For breakfast we also enjoyed some smothered breakfast burritos which were super flavorful. I also love that they have different spice levels for the green chili which is much appreciated for our baby mouths. The mild has a small small spice so I don't think I would venture much past mild for myself. We got bacon burritos and they were both so flavorful. I really enjoyed it! Our server was really friendly too she took really good care of us. It is busy even during the week but I was surprised that it only took us about 10 minutes to get a seat. They have expanded since the last time that I went there so I think that's helped a lot with the wait times. It's definitely a louder restaurant with lots of groups gathering and chatting. This visit we decided to take the family out for breakfast and in my opinion was blind sided by a 20% gratuity. No where on the menu is this listed. I feel this should be posted in CLEAR VIEW so we have the option to decide if we want to pay that 20% gratuity or not. What if I did not have the $32 for the gratuity? What would they do call the police on me? Im just saying! This is bad business in my opinion. For 20% gratuity do you all think my cheese should be melted and my plate should be hot right? This shit was Luke warm at best! If we charging 20% and blind siding people this shit better come out five star and the service better be on point. We paid a waitress 20% who struggled to serve our table. We had to ask her many times for things, food came out, had to request utensils 3 times! Oh did I mention I asked for lemon in my water, she said we do not have lemon and we charge for lime? Huh? Lemon and lime should be FREE. THE 20% GRATUITY SHOULD COVER THEM CHEAP ASS LIMES! I have a lot more to say but let's force these restaurants to "disclose" the 20% gratuity, not force it on you without you knowing! They expect you to automatically know and some of us never really go out in larger parties. I prefer to have the option to go somewhere else if I choose. read more

We ordered and it wasn't too long afterwards when our drinks then food arrived. The chips are wonderful and hearty thick! The Azteca burrito was amazing but the chilequiles needed more sauce. This may be the most friendly restaurant I've ever been to for breakfast. Everyone was so nice! It really added to our experience. We loved all our food and drinks. My daughter had the pancakes and I had the Huevos rancheros. Pancakes were perfect. Huevos was pretty standard fare, ordered it spicy and it was definitely mild (but don't worry hot sauce is on hand). :) The drinks were so good! The horchata latte was perfect (it is on the sweeter side, but if you see the photo, you'd guess that). The orange juice is fresh pressed (machine on site)! I loved that. It was so tasty and fresh. There was about a 10-15 minute wait when we arrived and 6 people in front of us. They are quick on the table turns and we were sat in the 10-15 timeframe. The price with tip when eating at the location can be a little expensive. I don't see myself dining at the location again anytime soon. Today we drove 35 minutes to try Santos Cafe. This is a place we've been wanting to try for a while now. The green chilaquiles and strawberry matcha were amazing. The only thing I would say is that the service was TERRIBLE!! Our waitress rushed us to order. We asked her if there was anything she would recommend or if she had any favorites and she simply just said everything. We also ordered a Giant Concha & Abuelita. She eventually brought the concha as an appetizer and said she'd be back with plates and never came back. Then we got our food. We ate all of our breakfast and we still never received our Abuelita drink to go along with the Giant Concha. Finally when another waitress was passing by we just asked her to take back the Concha and cancel the Abuelita. She then continued to say we never ordered it and it comes separate. But we specifically pointed to the one we ordered on the menu. We also proceeded to tell her no one ever checked on us or brought us more water. She said if we needed something or if something was wrong we should've raised our hand so one of them could've came over. It's their job as a server to at least come check once to see how everything is going and that never happened. Finally they brought the check and we seen they added a 20% tip themselves for parties of 4 & up. There were four of us but certainly I thought their service wasn't worth 20%. All they did was take our food/drink order, never brought our stuff, never checked on us and argued with us. I honestly expected more from this place but I definitely won't be coming back. read more

It's packed on the weekends (for good reason!) but on the weekdays you can usually get a table right away. Plus they just expanded so that should help.
