Here's a polished, standout review you can post as-is or tweak slightly for your tone:…read more Exceptional Experience at The Simon The Simon delivers on every level. The food was absolutely outstanding--beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Every dish felt thoughtfully crafted and memorable. The drinks were just as impressive. Creative, perfectly balanced, and expertly made, they elevated the entire experience and paired wonderfully with the meal. What truly tied everything together was the service. Attentive, friendly, and professional without ever feeling intrusive. The staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and well taken care of from start to finish. Whether you're going for a special night out or simply want an excellent meal with fantastic cocktails, The Simon is a must-visit. We can't wait to come back.

It's a nice atmosphere, not too stuffy but elegant enough for a nice dinner. The drinks are good, well mixed, and nice options whether you drink wine, beer, cocktails, or non-alcoholic options. The food, however, is very mediocre. They started with an amuse-bouche that was a fruit tart with cheese. Nice, light, and well balanced. We ordered the tuna tartare, along side a Japanese sweet potato dish and a salmon tartare that were both specials. The tartares were fine. Something you would get anywhere. The presentation was nice but their crisp or cracker was kind of useless as it doesn't have the structural strength to use as a vessel to eat the fish. The sweet potato was probably the best in terms of flavor albeit very rich. The main course is well things really fell apart. The beef dishes people ordered were either under cooked or over cooked. I got the grilled prawns which were limp and mushy. The veggies were underseasoned. The braised beef was small. I think everyone was underwhelmed with the main course. It's fine as a after work dinner spot but if you care about food, there are better options nearby.

We were seated right away and the servers were very friendly. We didn't have to wait for anything which was greatly appreciated. Whether it was ordering drinks, refilling water, and even checking out, the entire experience was top notch. The food was freshly prepared and packed with flavor. The fish tacos were paired with a fresh slaw and came with rice and beans. The portions were very generous so make sure you are hungry. The steak spaghetti was surprisingly well balanced and packed with flavor despite looking pretty basic with a few pieces of steak. Really looking forward to coming back again!

The free popcorn still isn't good or all that enjoyable, service can be hit or miss, drinks are expensive, and the food is very good. The Reston location does have plenty of large TVs, making it a solid place to catch a game. This was a guys' night out for food and drinks, but it's probably not going to become a regular meetup spot when a couple of easy changes could make a big difference. First, get rid of the popcorn, it's honestly laughable. Second, bring the drink prices down. A Wild Turkey and Coke shouldn't cost $14. We started with something to share. My biggest concern was value for the price, and the menu only had a few appetizers that felt both shareable and reasonably priced. The Bavarian Pretzel was good, although I wasn't a fan of the mustard dip. At $10, it's a decent value for two or three people. The chili nachos were tasty, but $18 is just too much for what you get. Even if they doubled the chips and chili, I'd still think they were overpriced by a couple of dollars. I'll definitely give them credit for the entrées. On my last visit I had the jambalaya, which was excellent. This time I ordered the Peruvian-spiced half chicken, and it was fantastic. I ended up spending almost $100. I had a good time and enjoyed the food, but Open Road has moved into my "splurge" category rather than my monthly hangout spot. Our server may have been new because service was slow, and the kitchen was also taking a long time to get food out, especially for a Friday night. I'm giving the Reston location four stars, just like Arlington. The food was tasty, I had a good time, and I'd come back, ... but.... the little things, especially the drink prices, lopsided menu pricing, and inconsistent service, keep it from being one of my spontaneous go-to spots.

She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and struck that perfect balance of checking in without hovering. Great service can elevate a meal, and Maria did exactly that. The food was excellent. The paella was delicious, the patatas bravas were flavorful, and both the pork belly and bacon-wrapped dates were standouts. The sangria was also fantastic and paired perfectly with the meal. Now, I've had Spanish food in places where it's a little more authentic and refined, so this wasn't necessarily the best Spanish food I've ever had. But considering we're in Virginia, Barcelona absolutely exceeded expectations. The quality of the food, the atmosphere, the patio setting, and especially the exceptional service combined to create a five-star experience. If you're in Reston and looking for a memorable dinner, Barcelona should be at the top of your list. Ask for Maria if you can she is fantastic.

Fried perfectly & the filling was so tasty, pork ribs was my absolutel favorite with a rich Smokey taste! These were super tender as well. Large Tapas:I got the seafood paella which reminded me a lot of Spain. Seasoned well & a wide variety of seafood with shrimp, clams, mussel, and octopus. This was super filling. Service was incredible & super friendly! Recommend an online reservation as this location does get packed during weekend dinner.
