The venue felt intimate and personal. The birthday party also came with a DJ with the DJ booth strategically set in the corner. There was a small dance floor with a range of music from hip hop and popular music to some country music. My cousin chose this venue because it was elegant yet affordable... a great alternative to larger, more expensive venues in her home city of Kerrville, TX. In addition, some previously available venues were no longer available due to the prior year's Kerrville floods. Food and beverages tables were set up in the back of the venue. The Moss Rose Event Center provided the décor, seating, linens, and other amenities, while also being present during the event. Security was also available in the building. Throughout the event a light show was highlighted on decorated walls creating a cool effect. We love visiting our cousins in Kerrville and especially at this venue. Life in a small town appears to be slow, authentic and homey.

Lots of animals and exotics on the property: camels, ostrich, zebras, donkeys, horses, goats, ducks, chickens, alpacas, and buffalo. We went there for a Kentucky Derby Race Party. We were able to do the wine tasting and eat at one of the food trucks on the property. We watched a polo match, but unfortunately we were not able to enjoy the hot air balloon rise due to the weather. They had a VIP farm to table dinner party in the back which looked like fun. I heard that the tickets for the dinner were about $200.
