My first experience was to have a 60-year old pine tree removed and base plus roots completely stumped. They gave me the best quote of the 4 I sought and when the day came they had all the right equipment and personnel. In what seemed no time, those men had my tree down and all the evidence of its existence in a truck being hauled somewhere. I' once used them to clean up many substantial downed branches and things after a mini-tornado. Not only was the service impeccable, but what I really appreciated was their quote. Other contractors were gouging but they gave me a fair price that was better than everybody else's Another job they did, also the biggest job they did for me included taking out a massive 60-year old Oak, and various bushes and trees that ran along 3 sides of my yard. This large job took the entire day but they cleared every bush, stumped every root well into the evening until the job was done. (before and after pics attached) Through all of this, the business owners have been incredibly easy to deal with. I just called and stated what I needed done and they either came out for a quote or gave me one over them phone. I've also recommended them to two family members that went on to hire them and both were immensely pleased. If you have a tree job that you need to get done, do me a favor and give these guys at County tree service a call. They've been so good to me and those I sent to them. This work was to be completed by 12\10\19. I called Otis on 12\11\19 asking when the work would be completed. He said he did not know! On 12\13\19, Otis and crew returned cutting down and removing one tree but not the stump. I called Otis asking him when he would complete the work. Otis cursed me out and said that he is not making any money and that he WON'T BE BACK!!! On 12\5\19, I gave Otis 1\2 of the contract amount, $1,600. The total amount of the contract was $3,200 and the work was supposed to be completed on 12\10\19, according to the contract.

The job was delayed, communication was poor throughout, and my property was damaged. The crew also left the work in an unacceptable condition as a completed job before I had to request them to correct the horrible planting (see photo). What professional company would leave a job like this? What's most frustrating is that I simply requested a $250 refund (about 20% of the total cost) to cover the damage. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, I was put through an unnecessarily difficult process. I ultimately paid the full invoice just to move on. This company used to provide reliable, high-quality service, which is why I stayed with them for so long. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case.
