Queso Flamiado Queso Flamiado/Queso Fundido with Chorizo ****We also recommend ordering the guacamole, house-made for the app!

The queso fundido with chorizo is our go to staple here! The portion is gigantic and completely on point as far as taste and price. We usually get the top shelf margarita; one is more than enough! The steak burrito is huge and fitting for our teenager that has a very healthy appetite. Our favorite waitress is Raina, and we look forward to seeing her every time we visit! Further, it's a long standing, family owned establishment in Oswego. We've been frequenting this spot for almost 23 years! Try it!

Among the more authentic Mexican restaurants around. It amazingly enough is in Oswego. La Cabana D'Oswego is by default the best Mexican place in town. Food is good but it seems pretty expensive. There's not a whole lot vegetarian friendly either except for the chips and guacamole. For sure what they do have is pretty delicious food. It also has drinks such as margaritas. These are good and decent priced. Came in awhile ago. The place wasn't busy even for a weekend. Both of us got the Classic Margarita. It's $7 for a pretty big one. This has a saltier taste because it's authentic and not from a mix like at typical Mexican American restaurants. It's always best to start off with an appetizer. We got the Guacamole. It's $8.95 and it's not a whole lot so it's pretty expensive. The stuff here is pretty authentic, as in it's chunky and spicy. It had some crunchy tortilla chips. This would have been even better if it had more. Even though it's expensive it's authentic and good. It has better margaritas than ones from mixes and the guacamole is also better even though they don't give you a lot. There's not a whole lot for vegetarians.

Beautiful ambience, large selection of food, great service, and reasonable prices. If you're in the Oswego area and are looking for a Mexican restaurant, I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

They have a small outdoor eating area and we always try to grab one of those tables even though it is located in a strip center. The service is absolutely great, very attentive and friendly. The chips and salsa are so good you can't stop eating them. I ordered the burrito grande and it was amazing. My husband ordered the steak burrito and said it was cooked to perfection and had a lot of flavor. Love the side salad. A lot of food at a great price.

Hard to tell by the photo; but these steak quesadillas cost $9.95 each! They're small as heck!!!

The food was not great. The margarita was even worse. And the waiter (Owner I think) was unfriendly at best.

Really good food. Kind of expensive, but worth the money in my opinion! My personal favorite is their chimichanga.

Although it is prolly apocryphal, it is said Toulouse-Lautrec commented much the same about French restaurants. There is a sizable Latino population in our neck of the woods, thus there are many Mexican places to eat. MiRancho here falls under the category of my opening statement. It's (way) off the beaten path, and definitely not picturesque. But I have had too many good meals in places that aren't exactly the ritz, so I had to try MiRancho. The Yelps were encouraging. I was ordering from the menu board, then I saw a small sign announcing a "buffet". I asked the nice fellow behind the counter and he said it was on. Well. It was, again, not pretty, but the quality of what was on/in it was top-notch. Lotsa meats, all totally yum. Three soups, including a great Pozole. Proper garnishes and side dishes. The throw from the soft drink bubbler was excellent. Even from the buffet, everything tasted vibrant and fresh--Might be the best Mex food I've had in this area. At the right price, too. In the end, it was very "home-like" and I took the simple, yet clean surroundings as a statement of "We're about the food 100% here". A true "off-the path" gem!

The restaurant was clean, quiet, the bathrooms were clean, the cashier so sweet and patient--I couldn't ask for more! We ordered a asada burrito dinner, a chorizo burrito, and a large horchata to split. We were given a basket of chips and a delicious salsa that had flavor, but wasn't too spicy! The burritos were generously filled and had avocado! That's not something I see everywhere. The beans were a great consistency, the rice was soft and flavorful, and the horchata was top notch! It had a unique flavor, too, and wasn't watery. The cup also wasn't overfilled with ice! While we were patiently waiting for the burritos, we fell victim to the slideshow and decided we just had to try a gordita lol. It was SO good, but the portions were so filling we had to take the rest of the gordita and part of a burrito with. The tomatillo sauce was perfect and the red sauce had quite a kick to it, but not enough that it was painful. The food didn't NEED any extra sauce, but I like to try them, anyways! I wished I lived in this area so I could eat more gorditas, but I will definitely stop here again if I am around! If you're lucky enough to live in the area, please do support this sweet business!

Perfectly cooked steak, cut to the ideal size for the taco, with super fresh onions and cilantro, all wrapped in delicious handmade tortillas. We will definitely be back. Thank you!
