We ordered the El Trio and it came with breaded shrimp, steak, chicharrones, guacamole, beans, tortilla and rice. The beans got mixed with guacamole so guac was swimming in the liquid from the beans. It costs $21.57 and definitely worth the money and it was delicious. Its suits for 2-3 ppl in my opinion.

This place is new to the neighborhood and so worth the wait. The food was delicious and portions are of epic size so please come hungry. It does take time for the food to come out so make sure to be patience and gauc we had the small size which is picture. The service was great and attentive. The restaurant has tables inside that accommodate big parties and two table outside. They had popsicle but I was too full to try them. Now I need a nap to digest all this food.

Decided to try something different for dinner and wanted Mexican food! I ordered a beef burrito and it came with a side of fries! The burrito was a decent portion size, definitely bigger than you'd expect! It was really good but to be honest I feel as if it didn't really have to much flavor to it , it did have a a bit of a kick to it but aside from that I don't think it's anything I'd rave about.the main flavor I tasted was the taste from the sauce that's about it. If I came back I think I'd try something else on the menu! The staff was nice and the wait time for the food wasn't to long ! The staff wore masks too and didn't offer indoor seating only takeout.

JACKSON: the newest dog friendly restaurant to hit the Jackson scene is La Casa De La Tia, an authentic Mexican restaurant. We stopped by on their 4th day being open and met Alex who took our order and was the nicest person we ever met working at a restaurant and was meticulous checking orders. They have tables outside and dogs are allowed. The food is delicious and reasonably priced and the service is excellent. You can also order take-out. They are working on a website and Facebook page, so as soon as those become available, we will update this post to include the info. Their sister restaurant is in downtown Lakewood.

This place is terrible. The order is always wrong and now their portions are half size and higher priced. Don't bother with this place.

First time there and the food was really good. Definitely going back again. The bowl combo, empanadas and plantains is what we had.

I had been wanting to catch them on one of the other many Fridays they announced being in our area and finally made it. I did not use there app to pre-order. I decided to make my way to the mall and grab a lunch/dinner and one of the blue berry Maine Root soda. S to go with it. I ordered the Lobster Grilled cheese (which I was pleased to see came with tater tots even though I did not realize that from the menu description). And the Maine roll. The service was rather quick. This was in part to: there not being any line to wait, the use of the credit card for payment, and the kind cashier taking the orders and dispensing them once they were ready. The wait time for the food was about within 10 of placing the order. Maybe less. The grilled cheese was luxurious. The chunks of lobster meat and the quantity of gooey cheese were the right ratio to my taste. The tater tots were crunchy. I decided to add my own Mike's Hot honey to switch up the flavor a bit. But, there really is no need. Later that evening, I took my cold Maine roll out of the fridge and this was equally well stuffed and flavorful. I would definitely consider making the splurge again. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon. The wind was brisk so not the best for hanging around to enjoy the meal outside if you'd bring a folding chair. Still, worth the round trip ride to grab what turned out to be my lunch and dinner for the day. Thanks to the @Cousins Maine Lobster -Freehold for adding our area to their culinary rounds.

The service was excellent, with the staff repeating the day's specials multiple times until we made our choices. So I made my appointment and met with Danielle & Jerry- the owner was away on vacation, so I did not get to meet him. Anyway we went over the menu and the expected # of guests and set the date and the estimated cost of the luncheon. Day of the luncheon came, tables were beautifully set in a very roomy side room. We BYOB'd it and they had ice waiting for us to chill the wine and bread & butter was on the table. We ordered the following: Appetizers- Calamari, Cold Antipasto and Sausage & Peppers Choice of salad, house or Caesar The Main entrees were choice of 6. Dessert was choice of Cannoli, cheesecake or tiramisu Beverage: Coffee, tea, water, soda Servers were exceptional, smiling, attentive, friendly and although they were very much present, they did not hover, shadow, very professional, considering the occasion- fantastic staff. Food was delicious- everyone commented on the dishes they chose and how much each portion was, huge compliments to the chef and staff. I ordered the shrimp oreganata and I absolutely loved it- I will without a doubt order it again. When it came time to leave, settling the bill was simple and easy, I paid cash for the tip put the rest on my CC . Now I see why so many of my Westlake Residents dine here!! My personal heartfelt thank you to the staff and owners of Christie's for helping my family celebrate the long and beautiful life of such an amazing woman.

Many people enjoy the interaction that we engage in at the post office, the gas station, the barber shop, the butcher, the fruit store, etc. Here there seems to be a very definite history of the great staff members moving on, sometimes with little or no notice, and it has impacted the comfort level for me, and for many of the people who also frequented the store. The product has been good, at times excellent, but the overall experience has been greatly diminished by some real nice people who were employed there leaving. I don't feel the same joy supporting a business that seems to have a pattern of upsetting what appears to be excellent employees, and this is by no means a negative statement on the new people who come in to replace the one's who leave. I sure the new ones are very nice too. It all just creates this sense of sadness and negativity about and towards the ownership and overall establishment. I guess in life some of us reach an age, or a point, where what we put in our body has to do with more than the food itself. It connects to the vibe, the humanity factor, the trust, etc. I have stopped going to Local 130 after the last person left, almost without exception. And I am a customer who was there a minimum of once a week for several years.
