I was excited to try Mokka, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. From the moment I walked in, there was no greeting, no direction, and no acknowledgment--just blank stares. A simple "Hi" or asking if I needed help would have gone a long way. The matcha was also not good. It tasted more like oat milk mixed with strawberry jam than high-quality ceremonial-grade matcha. If you're advertising matcha, the quality should reflect that. What really left a bad impression was when one of the baristas wouldn't let go of my drink until I showed my receipt. After I showed proof that I had already paid, she snatched the receipt back without saying a word. The interaction felt rude and unnecessary. I understand this is a newer business, and every new café has room to grow. However, being humble, welcoming, and polite shouldn't be difficult. Good customer service is what brings people back and helps build a loyal customer base. Was waiting for this spot to open when we first saw it, so we immediately came once we saw the soft opening sign! We walk in and the shop was very clean with minimal decoration. We were immediately greeted and told about their bogo promotion. It was super easy to order your drinks through their kiosk, and they have a great variety of drinks to choose from. Service was pretty good for it being their opening day and the staff were getting accustomed to orders. We got their Mokka Frappe and Coconut Matcha. The frappe was a great blend but I wasn't too fond of the chocolate syrup. The matcha was also a bit too watery for my liking. This coffee place just opened and we've been eyeing this plaza for a while as to when they open. Came here and had ordered since it's still their soft opening and offering BOGO. So far, our favorite is the black sesame latte and the dulce cream Spanish latte. Cafe looks neat with a nice ambiance to it. You order through a kiosk and just give one of the two receipts to them for them to know your order. Has a TV to entertain you while waiting for your order. The owner also seemed to be training employees during this time. We ordered our drinks ( 1 coconut matcha, 1 blueberry matcha, 1 Pandan coffee, and 1 dragon fruit tea) none of the drinks were up to par. The coconut matcha had absolutely ZERO matcha flavor, the cold foam was beige rather than green. If I wanted a simple coconut water I would've just headed to the gas station across the street. The Pandan latte looked nice aesthetically, but that is all. There was Pandan taste but the drink tasted like pure sugar. The blueberry matcha was subpar but also extremely sweet. I love this coffee shop. We came here in the late morning on a Saturday, there was a short line outside the store but moved pretty ok. There are 2 kiosks you can order on, no cashier, which I like it. They put out clear instruction to help people get the BOGO drinks on kiosk. And you can even adjust the sweetness, or add syrup for extra charge. We ordered sesame cloud latte and jasmine cold brew. Both drinks are very delicious! I absolutely love the sesame latte, not too sweet. When I saw the syrup adjustment I was worried the cold brew would be too bitter or sour, but still ordered default. Surprisingly, the jasmine cold brew was slightly sweet and not bitter or sour at all. We both love our drinks a lot! There was music in the store, the staff was friendly. They're still learning the recipes, so the serving was a tiny bit slow. With the amount of customers, we waited about 30 min from waiting in line to getting my drinks.
