Wow. Everything about this place is on point. This was our first time here and we ordered from the sushi bar. Experience wise- I have never seen sushi come out this fast! They have it down to a science. Service was great. Save room for their homemade ice cream! There are lots of flavors to try. Cash only :)

We ate here on our last night in Los Barriles. One of my favorite meals in Baja. The food and service was absolutely amazing. They definitely know what they are doing when it comes to culinary skills. Our servers Roberto and Pedro were top notch and had great recommendations. I had sushi and chose the Derek roll, so fresh and delicious! I highly recommend this place for a nice dinner out with the family or romantic evening for 2.

The best restaurant in Los Barriles and maybe in all of Baja! We ate here almost every night during our week long stay in Los Barriles. Every single dish we had was mouthwatering. We are back home and still dreaming of their La Casita sushimi dish. One of the best dishes we have ever had in our life. With slices of freshly caught tuna, a homemade soy and ponzu sauce and thin slices of serrano on top this dish was insanely delicious. Since we ate here almost every night we were able to try a lot of other things on the menu. Everything was perfect! Some of our favorite dishes were the Iris, the Pineapple Shrimp, the sea bass with jalapeno sauce, ceviche, and the sushimi. You literally can't go wrong here. One of the other amazing things about La Casita is that you are able to bring in the fish you catch and they will cook it for you. We brought in mahi mahi one day and wahoo another day and they made it many different ways for us. The ceviche they made with our freshly caught fish was to die for! Lastly the service at La Casita is unmatched. It is a family run restaurant and by the end of our week we felt like a part of the family. Pedro was our server most nights and we left feeling like he was a close friend of ours. We will miss La Casita and can't wait to come back to Los Barriles so we can eat here more! Thank you to everyone at La Casita for making our trip to Los Barriles so special!

Really impressed with the flavors and combinations. Super creative, nice blend of Mexican, Asian, fusion. Margarita was great. Avocado ice cream was our favorite. Tequila Seabass was excellent. Pesto dipping sauce was fantastic, but Brad was not so good. Sushi rolls were huge. Great service. Scallops were not being served because they are not in season. Unlike most Mexican restaurants, you need to make a reservation here most nights.

After spending a few days in Cabo and trying to avoid the overpriced tourist traps, we decided to…read moretry Apostolis. It was not loud and crowded like all the other spots. Prices were also much more reasonable. We talked to the person in front of the restaurant because he was actually polite and not pushy like all the other "sales" guys on the Marina. He told us about the different options they have for cooking fresh caught fish. We caught a nice yellow fin tuna the day before and the restaurants offerings sounded pretty good. We gave them our fish, and chose to have them make the tuna 3 ways. They brought out complimentary pistachio bread with olive oil and vinegar as well as pita bread and garlic hummus. Both were pretty good, but nothing amazing. After that, our first tuna course came out. It was a crudo style dish with Parmesan cheese, capers, and a vinaigrette. It was absolutely delicious and i was very surprised that the cheese went with the fresh tuna. I am usually opposed to pairing dairy with my seafood. But this just worked and I could have eaten the entire tuna prepared this way. Then came a grilled preparation of the tuna with a light tomato, zucchini, and olive sauce. It was paired with a Bulgar wheat salad and a beet salad. The beets were just average, but the Bulgar wheat was a perfect pairing with the fish. Lastly, we had a pan cooked tuna with a balsamic onion sauce. We though that the sauce was a bit heavy and over-powered the fish, but it was still delicious nonetheless. It came with a green salad and a garlic mashed potatoes and those were good but nothing amazing. This place did not have the crowds of the tourist traps, but more people should be eating here instead of the Americanized nachos and quesadillas at the other restaurants on the Marina. True, this place is not authentic Mexican either, but its a great change of pace from the other Marina spots.

Bleu is (now) a charming small restaurant in the residential area northwest of TS off of Las Playitas, and Hector is a the well-recognized owner/chef. His background is extensive, drawing from well beyond the small TS community. Arrangements began with setting the reservation and a pleasant Whatsapp conversation about the menu. At this time, the restaurant takes one reservation per day, typically for dinner. Between Hector and his very capable daughter we never wanted for anything, service was unobtrusive but always there. We began with Apertifs - Aperol spritzs, done just right - just past sunset. The patio is situated on a bit of high ground with a classic view looking west over the Pacific. These were followed by gazpacho shots and words can't really describe the layers of flavors, we could have finished pints of this. Bleu salads came next, perhaps a dozen ingredients, dressed just right and the best set of greens we've had on this trip (or at home for that matter). Between the two of us, main courses included split and char-grilled locally-caught crayfish (or clawless lobsters if you prefer), grilled Sonoran beef NY strip and delicately sauteed Cabrilla sea bass. These were accompanied by a great selection of grilled vegetables, toasted baguette rounds and garlic butter, and brought on lavishly set platters. Desert was worthy of the meal, a delicious rich chocolate cake for two with perfectly-brewed (coarse ground) French-press coffee. The meal was fantastic, but was just one component of a perfect 2-3 hour experience that I cannot recommend highly enough. All I'll say about price is that its not something most would do nightly but we considered it an exceptional value and felt very lucky to have the opportunity. Salut Hector!

It was just me and my husband, but there were quite a few larger groups dining while we were here. The service is wonderful. We had two main waiters, both of whom were kind, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The cocktails and the wine we ordered were wonderful. I really loved the cocktail we ordered! Our dining experience was nice, but the food we ordered was just okay. I wouldn't call it some of the best of Cabo. Of our six dinners in Cabo, I would say it was probably our second to least favorite. But, that's not saying it was bad! It just wasn't on par with the other restaurants we dined at. First, I told the restaurant both when I made the reservation and when two different people at the restaurant inquired about food restrictions that I could not have cheese. The first thing served to us - an amuse bouche - was heavy on the cheese. It was a rather large ravioli, which was much larger than a normal amuse bouche -- and it had cheese inside the ravioli, a cheesy sauce, and cheese grated on top. So I could not eat a bite of it. My husband said it was just okay. The best thing we ordered here was the aguachile. It was beautiful, colorful, artfully presented, and absolutely delicious. So fresh, and well prepared. Loved it! Our main courses, however, were a little disappointing. They tasted fine, but ate more like the kind of main course you would order at a chain Italian restaurant in the US: heavy, chewy, and generic. But my personal saddest moment was when the churros arrived. I love churros, so very much. These looked beautiful, but when my husband and I cut into ours, they were all raw on the inside. So the flavor outside was delicious but we couldn't eat more than the ends of the churros. Overall, I enjoyed the experience of dining at Casa Martin... I just wish the food was better. I am hoping it was just an off night, and I look forward to revisiting this restaurant on a future visit to Cabo and hopefully having a better meal (but the aguachile was seriously so good - order that!).

The Habanero linguine is the thing to get here though! Wow! Our friends also had the lobster risotto. I added some anchovies to the lobster risotto & really set it off. The ravioli they gave each person, before the main meal comes out, is amazing! The signature cocktails were really light. Couldn't taste any alcohol. So consider that, depending on your preference. Great place. Highly recommend.

Ambiance: The restaurant is located right next to the beach nestled with two other restaurants. It was a bit windy, but it was an incredible view for us (see photo). Staff: From the hostess to our server, the wait staff was incredible! Lots of personality & friendliness the whole dining experience! Dining: We ordered: -Maze (baba ghanoush, hummus, jacoque with chipotle & pita bread) ***The Maze was very nice. Three distinct flavors that were all incredible. However, the pita left a lot to be desired. It was too thick...almost like a shortbread. Don't think that you will get an actual pita bread...it was not that at all. Now, it was still edible & paired nicely with the three dips, but it is not pita. -Falafel with Greek Sauce Yoghurt ***The falafel was very nice & paired nicely with the yoghurt! There was a small pile of green salad as well. -Chicken Shwarma with coleslaw salad & potato & garlic dressing ***I do not recommend this dish. The chicken was not seasoned & the coleslaw did not have enough bite. The tortilla it was wrapped in was also just very average. The dressing was not "garlicky" enough either. This is not your traditional Shawarma you would get from "Halal Guys" for example. -Lamb & Beef Kofta with greek yoghurt dressing & curry ***This was incredibly delicious! The Kofta was seasoned to perfection & was cooked perfectly! It had the same yoghurt dressing as the falafel & unfortunately the same green salad on the side. So, I'll take a little bit off of that, but I definitely recommend the Kofta! -Arabic Sweets Trilogy (baklava, bridal fingers, & graibes) ***I really wanted the trilogy, but unfortunately they only had the baklava. This was their interpretation, but it was good! It was crispy & flaky as it should be & they paired it with a nice vanilla bean ice cream. Since they did not have the trilogy, they brought out two plates with two pieces of baklava on each plate to make up for not having the trilogy. Thanks for trying to make it right! Overall, I'd recommend with the caveats above in mind. The location is beautiful...we watched the sunset fall over the boats in the harbor...breathtaking!
