The menus are QR codes on the tables, which is pretty standard. I didn't love that food and drinks are on separate tabs. So with 2 of us there, we had 4 tabs by the end. 1 each for food, and 1 each for drinks. It felt a little disjointed. It was also a little hard to get a server's attention when needed. You order on your phone, but just to get a couple glasses of water it took some time to flag down our server. And really, it's more of a host/food-runner situation since all the order processing is done online. I'm not super into cocktails, but their drinks really sounded amazing. They have some very fun, and inventive cocktails. If we hadn't already been to 2 breweries I probably would've ordered one. Instead I had a beer, which I believe was a house made IPA, and was fine. We weren't super hungry so we each ordered some egg rolls and shared them. Not necessarily the best I've ever had, but they were definitely good enough. I appreciate that they had some fun, not typical types of egg rolls on the menu. The space was cool, and I liked the food well enough that I'd go back. Hopefully it will feel a little more like a dining experience next time. That, or they could just have people order at a counter and it would make more sense. The Sunday brunch menu is small, but sounds amazing. I'm more likely to return for that rather than for a dinner.

HURL and SPEW more like it…read more A round of applause to the menu writer for creating intrigue. And also props to the waiters for having a positive attitude about deplorable food. I DO NOT recommend eating the food here. Laughably bad. The heirloom tomato was described as marinated, pickled, smoked, candied, and blistered with micro cilantro and finishing salt. Okay, already trying too hard with the descriptors. And no effort whatsoever with the actual execution of the dish. It was truly cold cherry tomatoes with olive oil and salt. Sad. A little funny. And ultimately puzzling. The shrimp was $15 for 3 shrimp plated on shredded iceberg and pickled jalapeño. The wontons might have been purchased at Trader Joe's and thrown in the deep frier. Lastly, the burrata. I should have known better than to order burrata "fried," that's a tragic oxymoron. Rubbery on the inside, crusty on the outside, and seeping with milky juices, tenderly plated with thin slices of hamburger bun cutely called a crostini. Stick to the cocktails-- had we only stopped for drinks, our review would have been glistening with stars.

It was busy - as expected. But the overall vibe of the place is so cozy and intimate. We love it! We were able to sit at the bar and Hailey took such good care of us! She was attentive, friendly and made great cocktails! Started with a Smoked Pineapple Flan cocktail and a dirty martini. Both were delicious! Loved the martini glass. We each had a side Caesar salad to start. The lettuce was crisp and the dressing was perfect. Once again, we had the Old Chicago on Sicilian crust. One of these days I'm going to try the deep dish, I swear! But that Sicilian is just so dang good! It was perfection as usual. This was the first time we ordered dessert. I saw the Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée and KNEW I was going to order it. OMG, it was everything I wanted it to be. Perfection. Excellent experience - again. Thank you, Capone's!

We were called and offered a seat at the bar within 20 minutes and a table within 45. The booth was very plush and comfy! The nightly mule was a berry feature and I was tempted, but opted for my standard old fashioned. Delicious. They had 2 draft ciders, a sangria and a local gr local (vandermill). So my partner was pleased and liked the cider enough to indulge in a second. We had the mushroom bread as a starter and split the fettuccine alfredo and a deep dish. Everything came out to perfection. The vibe was immaculate and worth the wait. The server was wonderful and the other team members jumped in clearing plates and delivering drinks and boxes so quickly so we never felt even a little bit ignored. I would absolutely recommend this to a friend for a fun night out.

The service was great and the food and coffee drinks came out quick. For drinks I had a banana bread latte and he ordered a mocha with an extra shot. Both were delicious! We ordered 3 different entrees to share - I might not have the names right, so please bear with me if you try to find them on the menu and you can't find the exact same thing. Started off strong with the breakfast burrito. It was so good! I don't know if it had a cheese sauce or just melted American cheese, but it was a good balance of cheese, hash browns, eggs and sausage. The munchwrap was awesome with chorizo sausage, hash browns, a tostada for crunch and cheese all grilled up in a flour tortilla. Last and our least liked was the Cheddar Bay Biscuit bowl. I like the concept, but the execution was poor. The biscuit had been microwaved damn near to death. It was hard to cut through with a knife. The consistency was somehow soggy and hard while also chewy. Add to that the saltiest sausage gravy ever. We each ate one bite, said no thank you and tossed it. Everything else was so good, this might just be a bad one off, but I don't think I could be convinced to try it again. I don't think food is served all day, so if you are hungry, get there before 2pm (I think).

I asked the bartender (I wish I would have got his name) if they had any options for me given those 3 things, and he came up with a DELICIOUS sugar free iced coffee option that was so good that one of the friends who had been drinking all night decided she wanted one to go along with her beer. It's sometimes hard as the DD to find a place with any variety and I was so happy to have a place make me a priority too. After all, your DDs are getting those drinkers safely to and from your establishment to bring in those big bucks - so you should give them a little thank you by treating them nicely as well. Thanks Rake Beer Project, for going above and beyond.
