The food was brought out a couple of plates at a time. By the time I got mine the first people at the table were done. And then the plates brought out later were cold. Cold breakfast rates a 0 in my opinion Ever tried to eat cold sausage gravy? Also the cinnamon butter was frozen, which doesn't work on cold toast, and the bacon was like jerky. Came in around 6:45 on Sunday 2/2/25 and sat at the bar. Ashley S. Was our bartender and she took great care of us - as usual. It wasn't too crowded and there was great music on. Lots of sports on, there are a lot of tvs here. Even though we just had pizza last night - we always want pizza when come to Pints. It's SOOOO good! We had the deluxe pizza which was delightful and we really enjoyed it. We also split a Rueben with tots - it is National Tater Tot day after all. Normally, this place is pretty great. This time, I left in tears. It is Mother's day and we were so happy to get a table, waters were brought over right away. Once it got to offering food, I ordered "the platter for us to share." When the food came out, three separate plates came out and we were all confused, let alone the food wasn't what we ordered. I asked where the chicken and french toast were, and she said "oh you're talking about the other platter, yeah I thought you meant this one." She apologized and asked if I wanted to order french toast. I was very frustrated because 1.) if we were going to SHARE it, why'd you put in three orders of food for us? 2.) I did not want to pay for more food, the platter was $28 and the meals she delivered and charged us for were $13/piece ($39.) It is so upsetting, I know it is a miscommunication, but not taking accountability, offering no fair solution, having no remedy or action towards a resolution is very not acceptable in my opinion. It is Mother's day, it was busy, things happen. But when that is pointed out to you and you tell us that you "really don't know how to fix it," then maybe you should ask someone else what to do and not continue to charge us with a bigger bill, simultaneously giving you a larger tip (even though you messed up our order and our bill). The food was good, but it wasn't what I was expecting, and was sad to have to pay more for food I did not want. I am not a waster, so of course I ate it, I choose not to have food sent back to be wasted, and asking for more food to be made would put the business losing $39 instead of just the $11 difference. Just very disappointed and feeling invalidated and unseen. I wish she would have done something. read more

The atmosphere here is taking an old building and adding a modern feel to it. The whitewashed bricks and wood accents make a warm and welcoming feeling. I ordered the Lobster Rangoons ($14), which have a mango hot sauce, mango-pineapple slaw. These were very tasty take on a Rangoon. I also ordered the Grandma's Pot Roast ($21). This has beef gravy, garlic yukon gold mashed potato, candied carrot, and sweet cornbread. I very much enjoyed the pot roast. It was very tender and tasty. The mashed potatoes were top notch and I normally don't like carrots, but these were good. The one negative was the cornbread. It was dry and just not tasty, they need to go back to the drawing board and try another recipe. One if the people I was with ordered the Carolina Pulled Pork sandwich ($14). This normally has smoked pulled pork, creamy dill coleslaw, pimento cheese spread, haystack onion, BBQ, on a brioche bun. However my sister just wanted it plain with only the bbq sauce. She stated it was a little dry, but with the Bbq sauce was good. She had also asked that her fries come out hit and fresh. They were only lukewarm, however she asked for fresh fries and they did bring some. The other person I was with ordered the Traditional Burger ($13). This is a 1/2lb all beef patty served with lettuce, tomato, onion, house kettle chips & pints' onion dip. This was cooked perfectly to a Medium Rare and was stated to be excellent. The service was friendly. He brought me refills for my drink and fixed my sisters fries issue. My only slight complaint is they don't give a paper bill. They just hold their machine and show you your total. I don't like that. Overall a 4 1/2 star review. Since I need to round I'll round up, because I feel it deserves a 5 more than a 4. Would I return? Absolutely, if I lived in Muskegon it would be a once a month visit minimum. read more

We stopped today for dinner. We have been here before. But it has been a while - before Covid 19 stopped everything. Again, just like in past times. Our meal was excellent. My wife had a salad (beets and greens) and a bowl of soup. I ordered from their appetizer menu and had Thai wraps which was layered in flavors. We shared a crispy Ruben roll. Which did not disappoint. Our server (Caera) was kind and gave us excellent service. Even though we went early for dinner (4:00pm). The place was already filled with the sound of laughter. Seems like each table was having a good time and creating memories. If you are ever in the Norton Shores area. I would suggest you stop at pints and quarts and give them a try. I was a patron here March, 2024. I was surprised at the amount of families/kids there were....the place ain't exactly economical. Maybe I just hit them at the right time for kids? Service was good, food was good. About $65 + tip for two. It was busy on a weekend evening, but we didn't have to wait for a table. I guess it is temporarily closed for now. This place is AMAZING! Right when me and my honey walked in we were seated by a friendly face. The place wasn't too crowded and we got a good spot near some TV's. We had the BEST server who was very attentive and had a great personality. We got our food in a timely manner and it tasted GREAT! We have never had a bad meal at Pints and Quarts. The food comes out fast and is so delicious. We have to start out with the soft pretzel. It is huge and all three dipping sauces are awesome. I almost always have to order the pints pepperoni pizza. This recent trip we tried the special of the week of the Greek nachos. Oh my goodness were they delicious. The wonton chips with it were perfect. Service is always top notch. Drinks are so yummy. Love the Friday $4 mule special. If you go for brunch on the weekend, do yourself the favor and order the biscuits and gravy. We could eat at P&Q multiple times a week and not get tired of it. read more

We like to go here for football. They are one of the only places in Muskegon that puts the sound on for the game and the service is decent hence the 2 stars. It's a different story when it comes to the food and I am going to attribute it to not be able to handle busy. I ordered a patty melt on sourdough. The bread was only half toasted, not really grilled, the cheese was not melted and the burger was not seasoned. To top it off there were maybe 4 small pieces of onions. It was very disappointing and underwhelming for a place that charges $16 for a patty melt and $2 to get fries added. The happy hour specials are great! We tried the lobster Rangoon's and they were different and good. The only weird thing were the two servers who told me I couldn't sit at a high top in the bar after I told them both that my boyfriend was checking with the hostess. Pints and Quarts is a great spot for lunch or dinner. Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the brunch. The biscuits and gravy was served with a hamburger bun. This was a major turn off. The breakfast pizza was okay at best... the egg on top should have been covered with cheese. The homemade French toast sticks were good but nothing to rave about. The service was great but unfortunately we prefer Pints and Quarts for lunch or dinner only. The menu looked great for brunch and the brunch drink options were awesome, but the food said otherwise. read more

In town for work and wanted to stay local. The hotel front desk mentioned Pints and Quarts. So I went. Sat at the bar as usual since it was just me. Emma was the bartender on hand and was very helpful and friendly. She had suggestions for each category of food on the menu. I finally picked the CBR wrap but then Emma asked what type of sauce. I told her to surprise me. I got a side of fried pickles too. Got the wrap and Emma told them to add the spicy garlic. Oh, man was it good. Plenty of fried chicken pieces, lettuce, lots of bacon pieces, and then the sauce. The spice was very mild but you get a sweet bite at first followed by a small heat at the end. Very good choice and the fried pickles were nice and crispy. I was very happy with the food and Emma had all kinds of information on the area and the restaurant. If I'm ever in the area again I'll make it summertime so I can enjoy the owner's other restaurant and the beach. read more

Not a bad place. Love the interior seating area, nice and open, lots of stone and wood. Hipster meets sports bar. Foods not bad, decent beer selection and it's fun. It's nice to see places like this in Muskegon. We got a pretzel to start and it was my only complain. Cool serving on a banana hook, but the dipping sauces were just "meh" and for $12 I expect more. Seemed like a frozen pretzel on a hook. Burger was overdone a bit but still tasty, they switched out their fries which we used to really like. Now there a cheaper gfs alternative (or the taste like it). Pizza was solid. All in all we had good service and spent $70 with tip for two entrees, an app, and we each had a beer. For a big group, while the wait would be long, cool place. Also would be 5 stars for sure if all you wanted to do was drink and eat nachos. But for dinner for two, could be better. We'll still be back to support local places like this for sure. It definitely has the potential to be incredible. read more

This was our first time visiting Muskegon and this establishment. It is well decorated, clean, light and on the loud side. Service was efficient and friendly and our food came out quickly. The chunky chicken salad sandwich was very good. Hearty and full of cranberries and walnuts. Lots of fresh lettuce on top (not just one slimy slice), all on a delicious pretzel bun. This was served with a generous amount of house made chips. My date had the hot ham and Swiss. Way to kick it up a notch by making the pretzel bun warm!! They proudly advertise their weekly specials, all of which seemed like a good deal. If/when we find ourselves in the area again, we will come back. read more
