This salon is horrible. I am getting my nails done twice in one day the day before my wedding because this salon did such an absolutely horrible job. This is the worst salon I have ever been too. Feeling a little CHIC and pampering to myself this early morning! I was in the area and needed a pedi and stumbled across this Venetian feel nail salon. Price is reasonable, cleanliness is a bonus and staff is really nice and great. The young lady that did my pedicure was very patient and made sure I got what I asked her to do. She made my toes look beautify lol I was very relaxed during my massage felt great! I would definitely recommend my friends here! read more

Not at all impressed with my nails, was very rushed through. Also, to make it worse staff treated patrons as if they were a nuisance whose nails they HAD to do. The whole time they were talking about who went out with who that weekend, who got the drunkest, who behaved the worst because of being so drunk...and on and on. Glad I did not bring my girls in with me because there was clearly no concern for kids since there were a couple that belonged to someone working there running around. This place used to be awesome. You got a hot cuticle treatment, hand scrub, moisturizer, hand massage and hot towel treatment all before the manicure. Now they do a water soak and when they trim your cuticles they butcher you. I had three bleeding cuticles. That never happened under the old ownership. I want to know where the former ownership took our amazing ladies. This place is horrible now. My daughter's polish was as messy as if she had a high school girl friend do it. So disappointed. Update: I found my amazing manicurists that used to work here now working at The Nail Parlor in Berry Farms. I'm happy. read more

My pedicure was amazing & the woman next to me was commenting the same, that hers was the best pedicure she has had. I am very pleased with my services & I will return as as regular customer. Worst experience. Nails look terrible. It was rushed and she cut the crap out of me under my fingernail. I am bleeding and she didn't even care or apologize. Just threw glue on it. Put tips on my finger that were twice the size of my nail and stuck to all my skin. She didn't even file evenly. They are lumpy, uneven and bleeding. I will never be back. read more

Awful. Did a terrible job on my dip nails. Didn't even give me an actual manicure. Was just a paint job. No hand massage, no cuticle treatment, no nail trim, no lotion, absolutely nothing. Left with glue underneath my nails. Luckily it came off in the shower. Nails started peeling up after just a few days. Will never go back or even recommend it to my least favorite person. read more

I had a really sweet lady who did a fantastic job on my toes. The only reason I'm rating 3 stars is because I had to wait 45 mins before getting my nails done, the water got cold and they had to add hot water if that tells you how long I waited. Also, the older guy who works here was quite the jerk to his customers. Maybe he was having a bad day but he made it seem that the girls who had gel on their toe nails were a burden to him. The lady who did my nails stated that they get busy everyday between 2 until the time they close so if you want to come during less busy hours come before noon!! read more

Went to the salon, waited an hour; finally got seated and was rushed. I asked for a gel manicure and the woman rushed, barely payed attention to what she was doing and didn't even tell me that once he gel machine went off, my nails would be dry and I could leave. I sat there for five minutes wondering if she was going to come back, until another man told me I was done. The gel began to peel two days later; which has never happened to me before. I went to la chic yesterday and asked Jonny to do an ombré French with some sparkle and he accepted the challenge! He didn't get it right at first but he was determined to make it look amazing. So after a couple of tries we finally got it figured out! He was so patient and determined. I absolutely LOVEEEEEEE my nails! I have gotten so many compliments already and it's only been one day! have to say i had higher expectations. we were greeted by a friendly man and sat almost immediately after being told to pick out polish colors. that's unfortunately where the pleasant experience ended. the station i sat down at had acrylic nail dust all over and the technician started working on my nails over a dirty towel with tools that had no evidence of being sterilized. the nail file and buffer she used was white with nail debris (yuck!) and very coarse. the skin around my nails was rough and broken in places from the dirty file. she never used a fine nail file to shape my nails or get rid of the rough edges so my manicure is uneven and looks messy. this nail salon doesn't appear to have very high sanitation standards with their tools or stations. heres hoping i don't end up with a nail fungus after this manicure. read more

It was sub par at best. Chose it because of reviews on yelp. Walk in pedi. Sat in a chair that was broken super uncomfortable in barely luke warm water (even asked for it to be warmer) to wait. Not that great on the amount of types of pedis offered. Also get rid of the cheese grater for dry or callused feet. They make things that take it off without that much time. Also need new drying units. Sat at one for almost 10 minutes it wasn't even turned on or working. I don't think I'll be back. read more

I went in for a pedicure but ended up waiting 40 minutes with my feet in water without service and without a simple "hey, it's going to be over 40 minutes before we get to you" before deciding to leave and go down the street to ICONIC NAILS where they took me immediately without turning my feet into prunes first. I had my first pedicure there today. They had an available appointment, got me right in when I arrived, and did a really nice job. No one in the shop was super friendly, but enough to make me comfortable. The lady who did my pedicure knew many of the arriving customers by name, and greeted them warmly. She was very thorough, asked my opinion about nail length and shape, etc. Towards the end of my pedicure, a customer that obviously had an appointment with her arrived. She continued to pay attention to the details of my pedicure, and simply asked her to have a seat. I didn't feel like she rushed through my 2nd foot which I really appreciate it. Grew my nails out specifically for them to be a little long and was looking at my phone thinking the lady was shaping my nails but when I looked back up all my length was gone without her even asking if I wanted them cut down and on top of that, asked for a light pastel color chosen on the color swatches and she proceeded to give me this see through gray that was supposedly the same color I chose. Having been to several nail salons in Spring Hill, I'm very pleased with La Chic and am now a regular. I'm really picky when it comes to my nails and Johnny and his staff are more than understanding and accommodating. The staff in general is friendly and always eager to help from the minute you walk in the door. I highly recommend this place. read more

Went there out of desperation. Will not go back. Had to cancel my appointment with my regular nail tech, was in the area so I read a few reviews and decided to try it out. They were so rushed and didn't care how my nails looked when I left. All I got was a gel mani. The polish is not smooth and the ends of my nails were jagged. They were not clean, too many stations too close together. When he was painting my nails there was a lady next to me getting her tips grinded down, and there was dust and pieces of her tips flying everywhere! One piece actually flew into my hair!!! Disgusting! I regret going and will never go back. read more

This place is not at all what it used to be. New owners have no idea how to process through folks walking in and don't keep up with how long you are sitting during different steps. Had receptionist remove my gel last time after foiled for over 30 min and left after she scraped it off and didn't get manicure. After 3 times of crazy experiences with new owner I haven't been back.
