However, before the employee could respond, another customer walked in and the two began chatting in Spanish. The conversation continued for a good two minutes, with no acknowledgment of my son or the fact that we had been waiting. For a child who was genuinely excited about this visit, being overlooked like that was really disheartening -- and honestly, it was frustrating for me as well. We left without getting any help. We truly wanted to support this local business, and I hope this feedback is taken constructively. As it stands, though, it's unlikely we'll return.

There were two gentlemen in there, one was stringing a racquet. They don't have a huge selection, but we looked around and the guy asked how he could help us. I said I just needed some grip and what kind and color they had. He showed me a couple and I said it was just for my son's racquet, so he showed one to me and said it was a little cheaper. I appreciate that honesty and that he didn't try to upsell me. I bought the grip and was on my way, and it was great customer service. I would definitely go back there, because I felt they had expertise in the questions I asked them (in addition to the grip), and they made the time to answer them and make me feel welcomed.

Whereas some independent thrift stores tend to put a high dollar amount on their items, this is not the case with this shop. Thus, you can discover some really interesting and unique finds and not have to pay an exorbitant price for them. As can be expected, the shop has a wide variety of items. They have jewelry, books, electronics, clothing, you name it. You never know what you'll find here, and it is always evolving. In terms of parking, there's a lot of street parking in the area, so getting a spot should never be an issue.
