A wonderful time was had here. Super friendly staff and great theme inside with nice decorations bringing good vibes to the experience. I got the Tommy sandwich and my gf got the quiche. Both were delicious especially the sandwich!! The Tommy is a MUST try. It comes with spanish seasoned home fries that are just as yummy. One of the guys also gave us free coco shots while we waited for our food. We absolutely loved it here.

Super adorable place to have breakfast in Santurce, near Sagrado Corazón! Delicious egg dishes -- really fabulous! And you have to try the garlicky salty potatoes! Sweet staff!

I couldn't resist trying out El Huevo while vacationing New Year's Eve week, especially staying at the adjacent AirB&B. The dining atmosphere is vibrant & inviting, also provides a small patio seating area. Menu is perfectly laid out, easy to read, very detailed. I usually try to order healthy meals in restaurants, so selections were plentiful. After seeing what another customer was having , I decided to try the Avocado Tapas. Perfectly prepared, light, yet tasty with all kinds of flavors. Service level is a bit slow. But after my second day in San Juan, I've noticed it's the norm here. After waiting 30 minutes, you'll realize waiting is worth the freshness & wonderful meal. Sometimes you cant rush quality! The other feedback is " No Iced Tea " on the menu. My brunch meal would have been more satisfying if I had iced tea with lemon. I had orange juice inside. Still yet, it was a pleasant dining meal. I will definitely be back!

We were staying in PR for a couple of days prior to our cruise. We ate here one morning. We walked from our Airbnb. The place is IG ready with neat art on the walls. Our service was friendly and helpful but I have to mention it took about an hour to get our food. We were not in a hurry so this didn't bother us. However, I would not recommend this place if you're short on time. The food and drinks were both delicious. We had the green "burger" and wow was it yummy. I'd def go back.

I've had this spot on my radar for a while. We finally got a chance to go last weekend. Was not disappointed. From the ambiance to the service to the food was nice. It's s a cool spot for brunch. I liked the hip decor. Reminded me of some places when I lived in LA. We arrived early on a Sunday. There weren't a lot of guests. We were greeted right away and shown to a table. It was a high table and we asked if we could have a low one because our 5 year old was uncomfortable. They had no problems accommodating us. Our server was nice and helpful. There was a guy behind d the counter who was very friendly. Overall, all the staff we engaged with were nice. Top things off, the food was also a hit. There were so many interesting choices that I had difficulty deciding. I took to Instagram to check out some photos of the food, per our server's suggestion. I decided to go with the El Huevo sandwich. It's basically an egg salad sandwich. It was excellent. In addition to the egg salad there is a boiled egg in the center it in half. It makes for a nice pic. The sandwich came with a side of potatoes, which were good. My wife's Asian pulled pork tacos were good. Our son as usual went with French Toast. Normally the French Toast has a granola breading but we asked for them to not bread it thinking our son might not like it. Again, not problem for them. Our son liked his dish. He wasn't crazy about the fruit with his French toast. I ate them. Overall, a great brunch. Will be coming back. FYI, street parking only.

I had the matcha and granola french toast and it was absolutely amazing!!! Everything was so delicious truly 10/10 food. The restaurant itself was beautiful and the staff was so friendly and nice. The owner even recommended to us places to visit in PR. Definitely recommend!!!

Loved it. The service was pleasant and friendly. The vibe was very cool and hipster. I loved the egg painted on the outside of the restaurant. Kid friendly with cards and board games. The food was delicious. My Asian Pulled Pork tacos weren't the best but they were good. My husband's egg salad sandwich however was incredible. One of the best egg salad sandwiches I've had. And the potatoes that came with it were the best. Our son's French toast was also good. The mimosa was good too. We are definitely coming back.

The Oscar burger was amazing best I've ever had!!!

Literally a hole in the wall kind of place but worth it as far as the coffee goes service was friendly. Great place to visit with an ambiance feel, air conditioned and well maintained! Definitely recommend it .also ate lunch here and I definite do not regret it, MUST TRY!!!!

Super amazing food, the potatoes holy!!! I had gotten the Oscar burger and it was huge! I believe the owner was there with her son and they were super sweet and helpful. Recommend it highly!

AMBIANCE Parking: Old San Juan rules--come early or be ready to walk. Seating: Multiple seating areas for individuals and small groups but it's also a cafe too so there is seating in the back too. Vibes: Clean, modern café with a mix of locals and tourists. You can tell people come here for the coffee, not just to pass through. It leans more intentional and coffee-focused rather than just aesthetic--which I appreciated. FOOD / DRINKS Coquito Frap (Recommend) When in Puerto Rico, Coquito. Creamy, coconut-forward, and lightly spiced--like a frozen coquito with a coffee twist. Sweet, smooth, and definitely more of a dessert drink than a regular latte. CUSTOMER SERVICE Friendly and efficient. Even with a crowd, things moved quickly. TL;DR OVERALL 4.5 Stars. Solid spot. Great drink options at a reasonable price. They know what they're doing. Whether you're a coffee person or just need a reset, this place delivers. Salute to the Munoz family for sharing their coffee to the world! TIPS * Try their house coffee if you want the full experience--that's what they're known for.

We loved it so much we actually went twice during our trip - and even made a final stop before heading to the airport to go home. On our first visit, Hector (the roaster) happened to be there, which made the experience feel even more special. The staff overall were all so kind and attentive. The coffee is absolutely excellent - velvety smooth, rich, and delicious. I could easily drink more than one cup. I had a latte, and my husband had a macchiato, and both were great. They have a cute little outdoor atrium seating area, but we preferred indoors where all the comfy pillow seating was. Just a note - they don't offer decaf - but for regular coffee drinkers, it's a must-visit. Such a gem in Old San Juan!

I've bought them at the grocery store for my mother over the years when I couldn't find Menier. I was hoping to see some unique desserts at Chocobar Cortés. Let's just say that the chocobar at this location was not what I was expecting. It's like an express version of their original one in Old San Juan. This is located in the lobby of the Condado Palm Hotel. There are 2 entrances. Don't make the same mistake we did by trying to access at street level. That door is locked. You'll need to enter through the hotel lobby. The service is very slow here. There was only one other person there. We ordered a box of 6 chocolates and payed for it. I'm guessing he was making a drink for the other guest because he asked us to wait a few minutes. It ended up being longer so he told his colleague (who just came back from a break) to make up the chocolate box for us. Unfortunately, it took even longer as this other guy was more interested in the 2 young girls who just walked in. The chocolate bonbons were good, but nothing unique. It's the same artisan chocolates that you see everywhere for the same high price. Perhaps this location is better for their specialty cocktails in the evening time. I was looking forward to trying the choco-latte at some point. I doubt there will be a next time.

I had seen on the menu it was supposed to come with a cheddar cube, so I made sure to ask for it when it didn't come with it. It didn't melt down as much as I hoped, but the flavor was really good either way. All of our breakfast and coffee were really good, and we especially enjoyed the Mallorca bread. Besides having to ask for forgotten items (happened with the croissant and hot water for tea as well), and realizing when we got back to the hotel that there was a mix up with one bonbon flavor we had asked for, it was a nice filling breakfast.
