Great shotgun fields. Trap, skeet and 25 station sporting clays. The facility is nice with a retail store that has a decent selection of rental shotguns. Girls behind the counter were, courteous, cute and super friendly. The sporting clays is a walkable course that surrounds half of the property perimeter. Some basic stands 1-10 being easier and 11-25 more trickery difficult. Each stand has about four different positioned launchers. Club works on pre paid clays with a price variance between trap/skeet and sporting clays. Trap &skeet machines worked flawlessly via push buttons or voice activated. Sporting clay fields had quite a few failures or broken birds and a few inoperable machines. One thing I wish was that this place work like a bar tab with a credit card charge at end. However you must pre pay for exact amount of clays you intend to shoot with no refund or variable for no bird / machine malfunction or broken bird. Be sure to check out the clubs old taxidermy animals (elephant, Lion, rhinoceros, bear etc). Parking lot has no shade but there are a few shade trees and areas on site. Bathrooms are detached and like public park restrooms. Overall great place to shoot, especially for California! read more

First time visiting a few weeks ago and now I'm addicted to clays. If you're into sporting clays this place is great!

I come here to shoot with our shooting teams, about 40 kids, and nothing ever runs smoothly or on time. sometimes they throw in adults to shoot with our kids and they take 20 minute breaks in between set of 25 each shoot when we've been here since 630 am this morning and we would like to get out of here around 3:30 pm these guys are dragging out our entire team and we ended getting on the road very late 430 pm. Nobody has any consideration for anyone else as far as timing. I don't know why they want to mix strangers into a team event. this is the second time I've been here and the first time I was here. We didn't have any shooting with any of our kids for three hours in between morning and afternoon. Makes for a very long day and we have a long drive after we leave. read more

I would definitely recommend LA clays for people that are interested in skeet shooting. It's an older club and they've done a decent job of keeping the grounds up and ensuring that the club is maintained. We shot there for the zone seven shoot and the staff was friendly and the grounds were kept up. It's probably one of the only places that you could shoot a decent size event in the Southern California area, and I would recommend going here. I would also go back. read more

If you're looking for a place to shoot clays in So Cal, stop by LA Clays! Under LA Clays (took over facility management from Triple B maybe a year or two ago), they have really reinvigorated this place! Brand new machines, benches and generally better up keeping. There are 20+ stations with varying setup (ie, trajectory and speed of the targets) for you to practice your clay shooting skills and you can easily spend half a day here. If you don't own a shotgun, I believe they also provide rentals but call ahead to check. Targets can be bought at the front office (45 cents/target if you buy 100, and discounted if you're a member) and they allow you to bring your own shells. It's a ton of fun, so try it out sometime! read more

LA clays is a great place for trap & skeet shooting. They offer ammo and firearms rental. I like to get there early before it's too crowded or hot. There is shade and benches in the trap area. I just tried shooting clays with my Dad (Grandpa) and son. After a long check-in process we were told to take a 10 question test. I passed the test but my Dad didn't. They told my 10 year old son and I that we couldn't shoot together today even without his grandpa. What kind of policy is that! Not only that, because my Dad missed 3 questions, he is now required to pay for a private lesson with an instructor before ever being allowed to shoot here again. My son was really looking forward to his first time clay shooting with grandpa. Needless to say we won't be back! read more

AVIOD EATING HERE!!!! The clay targets have a better personality than the woman in the snack bar!!! The shooting is GREAT, but the food at the snack bar is horrible, especially because of the VERY RUDE woman at the counter. This range is a perfect example of why young people are not getting into firearms sports . The place is completely crowded by dinosaurs that have nothing better to do than hold up the public trap ranges for working Dads who then can't get their kids the chance to learn trap shooting . These same old guys will then sit and complain why the next generations don't come out to shoot. The shooting is GREAT, but the low rating is because of the snack bar.... The food is mediocre at best but the prices are VERY high, and the lady who takes the orders is VERY VERY VERY RUDE!!! Unless you're only buying a bottle of water, I wouldn't suggest you bother buying anything from the snack bar. She's one of the absolute rudest, most impolite person I have EVER met!!!! Bullshit! Filled out all the lengthy forms, drove an hour to shoot, read all the rules. We were presented with a safety test that had questions on it that did not jibe with posted rules we signed off on. We each missed 3 ambiguous questions and were told we couldn't shoot without an instructor. Instructors were not readily available and charged around $80 an hour. Nothing about the test was mentioned on the website or waivers. We left. Pretty angry read more

We had SO much fun doing a little day date at LA Clays. The facility was massive and well kept. The traps were challenging, but fun to shoot. We loved the golf cart as well. The pro shop had a great selection of merchandise and I was impressed by the food offerings. I will buy more clays and ammo next time I go because we could have kept shooting for a long time. The sports shop is decently stocked with clothing, cases, cleaning supplies and a few shotguns. Management and staff are friendly. Member rates are reasonable, and prices for clay pigeons are good when bought in bulk by a member. The cafe is good. The facility itself is large and well kept, I've been coming here for years. The staff around the compound and in the pro shop as always friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I decided to try the food here today for the first time and the older woman sitting by the register had a very nasty attitude and was outright disrespectful. Great spot to shoot some clays in the LA area. Prices are fair, and the staff is very helpful, especially the one at the front booth. I have been a few times with both of my sons and it is a good time and gives them an opportunity to shoot some shotguns without driving 2 hours to do so. They do have a two shot limit when shooting, which means that if you are not shooting a trap/skeet gun, you can only shoot two shots in your field gun. They also will not allow tactical shotguns, just an FYI. read more
