Stopped by after lunch down the block. The scoops here are huge. When I ordered single, it more like 2 scoops. They don't have massive selections but the ones they serve are popular flavors. Lovely sitting area next to the shop.

Wonderful ice cream to be had here at the Ice Cream Tower! We found this little place tucked in between a couple other buildings on part of the main drag of LaConner and treated ourselves to a cone. I had the Pecan Praline and my wife had Chocolate. Both were really good and made even better in a waffle cone. There could've been more pecans in mine, but maybe it was just a part of the bucket that didn't have as much. Oh well. The cone was super good. They have regular food too, but we didn't go for that. When visiting the Ice Cream tower one goes for ice cream! Like many places around, they also have a full espresso menu too. Needing some cold sweet treat? Look no further than the Tower! You won't be disappointed!

I would give this place 3.5 stars. It is conveniently located at the corner of Morris St. and 1st St, with ample parking all around. In terms of price, they are reasonable. In terms of value, they definitely are above average as the ice cream portions are huge. However, I did not find the taste to be anything to rave about. Their ice cream lacks the unique rich creamy flavor that often defines local ice cream shops. However, the flavor is not bad either.

    Delicious ice cream! Huge portions!

Delicious ice cream on a hot day in La Conner!! The flavors offered are varied and so delicious! They also offer shave ice, which was tempting, as well. We went on a weekday when most of the town was closed, so there were only a couple of people in line for ice cream in front of us; it took us longer than that to decide what flavors to get! The ice cream is rich and creamy and the portions are huge! There are two different price scales... one for the "regular" flavors and another for the "special" flavors. Both prices are slightly higher than I'm used to, but when you're on vacation, what does it matter? Besides, everyone's trying to recover from the slump caused by the pandemic, so I don't mind paying a bit more. I can see that the wait in line might be way longer on a busy day; the little building is too small to hold more than two people at a time. Several tables outside to sit at to devour your treat!

Really fun place to stop for ice cream if your visiting La Conner. Lots of flavors and they also have milkshakes, shave ice, espresso and tea and hotdog and chips. We got a scoop of huckleberry ice cream and a scoop of lemon meringue pie on top. It was super delicious!! The lemon meringue pie even had actual meringue in it. They have tables around to sit at and your also right by the square that has tables and benches to sit and enjoy your ice cream. Or you can just stroll along the boardwalk while you eat.

Cute little walk up ice cream parlor. Has a decent amount of flavors. You get a big scoop of ice cream. The waffle cones are delicious.

After exploring the town of La Conner in Washington, we made one final stop here. It is a cute little place that looks like the shape of a lighthouse tower. Just walk up to the window and place your order. Their gourmet ice cream comes from Lopez creamery so it is locally made. We tried their strawberry, wild blackberry, and lemon raspberry flavors. Although none of the flavors tasted amazing, they were all quite good and hit the spot. We paid $6.50 total for our two orders. A fair price and the portions were fine for the price we paid. Service was friendly and helpful from the girl who helped us. Would return here the next time we visit La Conner.

So we were driving towards Deception Pass and saw this HUGE warehouse with the word CREAMERY on it…read more My wife immediately started googling. Bookmarked for our return trip. We actually made it on our way back and so glad we did. They have a lot of unique flavors. We just got a couple double scoops so we could try more flavors! Once Baked Cookie Dough (5): My wife loves the traditional cookie dough so this piqued our interest. If you've ever had a pizookie, its sort of like that. Sort of underbaked and soft. It was delicious! Coffee Toffee Crunch (5): Can't go wrong with a coffee/toffee combo. Their slow churned process makes this really creamy and delicious! Wild Blackberry (4): Curiosity got to us on this one since wild blackberries seem to be everywhere up here. I've had some really good ones and some really questionable ones. This was good. What I'd expect. What this proved to me was their sweet cream base is amazing and can be paired with anything really. Lemon Raspberry (5): Wasn't expecting much but this one blew me away. This was my favorite of the group! Sweet and tart and fruity all at the same time with no flavor overpowering another. Very good. Cold Brew Float (4): This is really just a cup of the ice cream of your choice. Then you grab a can of their cold brew and pour it on top. I went with their mint chip. It was good. The cold brew was good. This is something I feel like I'd do at home too. (and I think I will cause we're taking some pints home!) Overall, a great stop on your way to wherever. They have pints to take home as well. Luckily we had a cooler in the car so we took home our favorite flavors. We'll be making this a stop whenever we're in the area now.

Lots of flavours to choose from here, with a good mix of unique options and more familiar classics…read more The ice cream definitely felt premium, with a rich, high-cream-content texture that made it feel a step above your typical ice cream shop. We tried the blackberry pint, which was nice and not overly sweet, although I felt like the blackberry flavour itself could have come through a bit more. The pints are also a great deal, and I would have picked some up to take home if they had dry ice available. Too bad they don't, since that would make it much easier to bring some back with you. Overall, a really nice afternoon treat, especially if you can enjoy it out on the patio. Would definitely come back again if I'm in the area.

We were in town for the first time, and my husband was looking up dinner places. The name of this…read moreplace excited him so much that he decided to surprise me by not telling me where we were going. He could not be more hype about an average diner called 'Big Scoop'. The area has some parking spots, but when we arrived, all the parking spaces and all the tables were taken. They were quite busy for a Wednesday evening. When we arrived, we had no idea what to do. Do we sit ourselves? Do we wait to be seated? Do we place an order at the counter and then sit? There was no signage and no greeting to inform us. So we stood there, feeling silly and out of place, for a good few minutes, before one adult staff member approached the counter to punch an order into a computer and literally said to us, 'I don't have time to talk to customers right now, sorry.' Ooooookay we'll just keep standing here. Eventually, our waitress/savior Kate greeted us, sat us at a table, and gave us menus. She was younger, upbeat, kind, and apologetic for the confusion. We looked over the menu, and a third staff member came by to take our order. I ordered the Big Scoop cheeseburger basket with fries & my husband ordered the hot ham & cheese with fries. The hot ham & cheese was your average grilled cheese with a protein. Nothing special. The burger was good, but nothing special there either. You'll notice that the other half of the menu is all. ice. cream. Just options and options of different ways to order your ice cream; the flavors are listed on the wall, not on the menu. They are happy to make any changes or customizations to your ice cream order. IMO the menu was overwhelming with no easy way to sort or compare options, so it needs an overhaul in the way it's presented. We ended up getting the #13, Sweet Superstitions, with the flavors Moose Tracks & chocolate peanut butter ice cream scoops. Again, nothing special here; the two cherries promised in the menu was just one cherry cut in half, and the peanuts were stale. The fudge wasn't hot either. For a place called Big Scoop, we got pretty small scoops of ice cream. When we checked out at the counter, Kate helped us out again. She was very encouraging and was so excited to have us in town for the tulip festival. I hope Kate gets a raise or goes far in life! Overall, a fun memory but an underwhelming experience in terms of service and flavor.
