On a hot day this is a great place to stop. They have Edaleen Dairy ice cream, which has a great reputation. The downside is the wait in line. The school would set him up and he'd scoop everyone's ice cream and catch up with the teachers and students. He was even generous enough to bring several options to choose from. Even the teachers and principals would be waiting in line for a scoop on those days. Lots of different flavors available, they even have some you may not notice as its not in the front display area but in the freezers in the back.
