This little place is a favorite! Always like coming home. Mama cooks right there in front of you and all is homemade. I had the Caldo de Rez which is available on weekends. Hubby had huevos con chorizo, his favorite. Elizabeth is owner with her mom and they serve you like you are family! It's a hole in the wall, but the food is great. The food is fresh, well presented, tasty, and perfectly prepared for max taste. I ordered enchiladas Rojas with sunny side over eggs. They hit the nail on the head with me. It was what I have been chasing for sometime now. The service was warm and professional . The dinning area is a bit dated but, very very clean and orderly. The menus and tables are all super clean, no stickiness at all. The bathrooms are clean and well attended. They have $1.00 tacos every Tuesday. Came by for breakfast this morning. Cute little place with very friendly staff. They do have a limited menu, but there is a variety so you can find something you like. Rude service. I went in because the food looked good and they have a salsa bar in their picture. I walk in and I'm looking for the salsa bar with the grilled jalapenos. It's not there. I ask the lady she tells me they haven't had a salsa bar in ten years. I tell her I seen her in yelp and the pictures look good. Anyways I get a weird attitude from the owner but I'm in a rush so I order anyways. I get my food ask for extra salsa she tells me there's salsa in the bag. I ask again can I get two extra reds please. I can tell she has an attitude about it. She ends up handing them to me and was like you owe me a dollar. Whatever lady I was going to tip more than a dollar but since you were rude I kept my tip. Tacos were ok. I'm sure I could've found better at any taco truck. The meat was gritty and fatty. I came to try their food on Cinco de Mayo, after work, to bring home for lunch for family. I've been craving for beef Birria Tacos which I ordered 5-taco order with the consommé to share. I LOVED IT! My brother loved it, too! I ordered super chicken burrito, not spicy, for my mom. My brother tasted the chicken when he had cut it up for her. He said it was very flavorful unlike other Mexican burritos we've had including in the Bay Area where we moved from three years ago. I ordered the Al Pastor burrito for my brother. He loved it! Both my mom and brother are very picky eaters! I came back on 5/08 for their beef Burria tacos again, this time 3-taco order after work. I'll keep coming back to try the other dishes offered. Only place I know that still does $1 taco Tuesday's!! And the tacos are good. Steak fries are yummy and the potato Taquitos are good too. Parking is available and wait time isn't bad. There is a $1 fee for using a credit card so maybe bring cash. They have a candy vending thing that cost a quarter so my kid likes that and so do I since most are like .75 cents. I definitely recommend this spot and have found myself coming here more than other places. They are next to a gas station a few lights down from the freeway. read more

Cheap mexican food by a very nice lady who also doubles as the cashier. It's like you're eating at her house. Food is solid but not spectacular but the price point beats every place in the greater bay area by a mile. If you like my reviews, consider "following" my profile for reviews all across the SF Bay Area . Why "follow" someone? Hidden gem! Ran by a mother and daughter duo-- who are very friendly and great. Each time I get food here it's always delicious. Which is why I keep my going back! Location is in a small plaza. The restuarant is a hole in a wall joint. I had the spicy shrimp plate which came with beans, rice, and a salad. Everything tasted ok, but it wasn't spicy. Service was super slow. read more

Stopped here on the way home for mexican breakfast. This is like home cooked food by a Mexican lady. We were the only ones there around 7:30 am. I ordered the chilaquiles with carne asada. First of all the chips and salsa were both really good. The chilaquiles rojo was really tasty, the beans very good and while the rice was good could have been a bit warmer. One word, outstanding!!! We ordered food for a party-rice, beans, carne Asada, chicken and el pastor. Every last bit of it was delicious! I didn't bother to try here before ordering catered food but I saw the reviews were good. I do not regret once so ever. The rice was perfect and flavorful beans were perfection and all the meat was so darn tasty!!! It's very hard to find a restaurant that makes a good pastor and they nailed it. Our family just finished a long softball day and we wanted Mexican food. I checked Yelp and this location had great reviews. We walked in around 2:30 and nobody was there. They only have a few tables to sit at, so I can see how this place can get busy during peak lunch hours. I ordered the seafood and grilled meats. This is a fajita platter with onions, bell peppers, shrimp, steak and chicken all mixed together with a side of rice and beans and tortillas. I really enjoyed the food, it was seasoned well. My daughters ordered the carne asada burritos and tacos. The taco comes out with a good amount of meat and the burrito was MASSIVE. My husband ordered the carne asada fries. This was probably my favorite. The fries are homemade, they use a mix of jack and cheddar cheese and its smothered in meat. It is a plate of yummy. I don't know if they no longer serve bean dip, but we did not receive any. We did however receive a bowl of salsa and chips. read more
