    Pupusas- always so delicious!
    Andrea D.

This is my 2nd time here and I have enjoyed it both times! I ordered 4 pupusas: 2 Jalapeños and cheese and 2 pork and cheese. Both were absolutely delicious and so flavorful! My friend loved the al pastor burrito. Service was quick (20 minutes for 3 orders) and the place was pretty cool with music playing in the background.

The price was expensive! for 3 super burritos, carne asada plate, 3 regular tacos and 2 sweet empanadas went over $100!! The meat did not taste the best, we all got cabeza on the burritos and it had a sour taste that did not taste right AT ALL. The carne asada plate was a bit better but was tough. Tacos were okay but it was a very disappointing dinner. Couldn't even finish the food. Would not come again. There's better options around Vallejo that you can go to!

The food is always great. The pupusas are filled with cheese, pork and beans. The service can be a bit slow since the food is made to order. They expanded the restaurant double its original size which makes it more convenient and practical especially with wheelchairs.

One of my new favorite local spots. Ordered some pupusas and they were some of the best I've had.also had a super burrito and it was very tasty as well - loved how it wasn't super dry like some other spots we go to. Am definitely coming back to try all the other pupusa flavors. Service is always friendly and food takes a bit of time, but shows that it's freshly prepared.

Walked in: cramped, no polish, just shelves of cola bottles and cookies from back home, kitchen haze thick enough to taste. Three pupusas landed--soft, cheesy, edges crisp--and that smoky smell rode home with me. Nothing fancy, kinda rough around the edges, but damn if it doesn't feel like a quick dip into Latin America. Worth the detour if you're craving real over pretty. For payment, make sure you have cash or zelle. They won't take any other method.

It's a little hole in the wall place with only street parking. On Tennessee in the not so nice area. I was able to park right in front of the place, so didn't have to walk around too much. Walked in as someone else was walking out. It smells heavenly! No frills, old faded menus on the wall, 2 ladies behind the counter cooking. Not much room to wait. Pupusas are $4 each but they told me they were running a special 3 for $10 so I got 6 for $20. Carne asada with cheese. Yum! Was told 30 minutes and it started to get smoky in there, lol so then waited in my car. Please note, It is cash only, take out only. Before I went back in, the lady who took my order came out to me, (it was more like 10 min) with them all packed in a foil pan. And the pickled cabbage mix and sauce packed separately. It stayed hot and fresh. They are thick and full of meat and cheese. And so delicious! It was wayyyyy too much food. I could have ordered 3 for us. One pupusa filled me up ! We had leftovers that our sons came over and enjoyed. If you live any where near, and love pupusas and authentic Salvadoran food- GO!

My go to is the 3/$12 Revuelta pupusas and the Plantains with the beans . Top tier beans and plantains. I am so glad I found this place. It is very close to my work. I do recommend calling in your order at least 30 minutes before so that it'll be ready for you to pick up. sometimes they do not answer their phone but they will give you a call back. Keep in mind they do not accept tap pay, but they do accept Zelle and Venmo if you need to make a mobile payment. It is small and cozy inside but there are at least 4 tables if you want to dine in. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. It's like a cute little burger shop but for pupusas. The vibes are great. Clearly a lot of regulars here, stones throw from Marin Civic Center. Side-note -- you can freely roam around inside the civic center which is one of the most mind-bendingly beautiful public buildings, a Frank Lloyd Wright masterpiece that inspired a George Lucas for Star Wars. But anyhow, yes, the smell, the happy chatter, the bright windows, lots of little tables, very clean, it just feels right. I don't know Blankita but I can tell she's great. I got three pupusas, cheese and bean, revueltas, and cheese and loroco made with rice flour instead of corn. All were excellent, 5-6 bucks a piece.
