    Mango Margarita
    L.C. R.

Service 10/10 Food 100/10 Met a friend here, and I'm so glad I did. The food was the best Honduran + Mexican I've ever had. The mixed fajitas were made with beef, chicken and shrimp. It tasted like it had been marinated with LOVE. The beef was so tender, the chicken, so tender, the veggies were chunky and flavorful. I could eat this every day. There are different flavored Margarita mixes, I would order with a floater next time. There will be a next time, because the food was worth sitting in Spring Break traffic on A1A. It's really just that good.

Stumbled across this restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. It's a has a cute vibes with pink flowers. Staff was attentive. I order the mojito ribs, Churrasco, and the blackberry margarita. The ribs were so amazing! I had to get a second order so much flavorful! The steak was ok, it lacked seasoning. The blackberry margarita was terrible. Very sour. Id def come back for those ribs.

La Costa Olas is a quaint little restaurant serving Mexican Latin Cuisine. This time we had the Queso and Nachos. They were both excellent. The frozen drinks were made individually instead of machine made. We had Mango Margaritas that were excellent. Our server was great.

We had dinner at La Costa Olas while on a trip to Fort Lauderdale. We stumbled upon the restaurant while wandering around and took a chance based on the extensive menu and welcoming staff. I had chicken flautas, and despite my request to have them made without cilantro, as the picture indicates, that is not how they arrived. Not wanting to send them back, I scrapped off the entire top layer and asked the waitress to just bring me a small side of sour cream. Overall, the flautas were delicious, not dry but nice and tender with a crunchy shell. The side of guacamole was flavorful but not too spicy. My husband ordered the Coconut Beef Ribs, based on the menu description... "ROATAN'S COCONUT BEEF RIBS: From the Abuela's Rancho we got the beef short ribs in her incredible coconut ginger sauce. Cooked 'till meat comes out of the bone. It melts in your mouth!" ...Unfortunately, while the sauce was tasty, the beef rib turned out to be so dry and tough that it was inedible. The quality issue was reported to three separate servers, but the complaint went unheeded. There was no offer to replace the entrée with something else or to remove the item from our bill. Sadly, this experience really spoiled our impression of La Costa Olas.

So happy to be back at La Costa Olas. Same great food, beautiful presentation and now iPads to order from. Paola was our server-so sweet, ask for her!

    Amazing Carne Asada

Top of the list, must stop, amazing food! If you are within a 20 mile radius, this is your dinner, no questions needed. Every plate we ordered was delicious, every side, even the water tasted better. I got the carne asada hanging steak with the coconut rice and plantains. The steak was cooked perfectly, the rice was delicious, and plantains paired well with the food, but I think I'm more of a fries type of guy. The fried chicken plate my friend ordered was also really good, and so were the fajitas. Overall, great food, very friendly service, in a very nice seating area with lovely views of the streets and gardens/palm trees around.

What a great surprise! We popped in for margaritas and ended up getting snacks. The blackberry margarita and the passion fruit margaritas were average, but the food was excellent! The nachos are unique. They come with fries mixed in and not many chips but the flavors are excellent. And their homemade salsas are the best I've had. Our eight-year-old loved the quesadillas. Service was great!

We just stumbled upon this place while staying nearby and it was the best thing ever! It happened to be Taco Tuesday, so their special was, you guessed it, tacos! They were PHENOMENAL!! And their hot sauce is super yummy! We also got the chips and pico and that was fantastic as well! Definitely will stop here the next time we are in town! 10/10

Beautiful place with great ambiance, very well trained, polite wait stuff and delicious food! We enjoyed both the food and antourage

The chips were chewy. Let me just start with that . if you can't make a good chip everything else falls in line. 3 people $200, worth about $90. Carne asada so raw I took it home to microwave for tomorrow. Cheese dip tastes like velvety on chewy chips. Server was fine. Drink was fine, nothing delicious.

Every single thing I tried was incredible. I can't wait to come back to try more menu items. The food/service and presentation were all so good that the tables were all talking to each other about their dishes. Not kidding. I felt the immense hospitality immediately when I walk in until I left. Must go back with my family/friends!

But when my partner asked me what I really felt like I said Casa Playa or Chimney house. So we raced to get there at 9:30ish starving. Good thing we asked the kind manager first if they would still serve us food since they closed at 10.. He was kind enough to tell us they would serve us no problem. Glad we asked as the male server who who wasn't even serving us) was quick to walk by when he saw us, not to greet us but to tell us the kitchen was closed. Then seemed annoyed when the manager confirmed we were ok. Thanks buddy. Thankfully we were being served by the kind male bartender with the female server being sweet enough to bring us menus We made sure to have our order in as soon as asked. The male bartender was great. Friendly and made us feel welcome. I have been to this restaurant many times because I love Chimney house and these are the same owners. So I was truly grateful that the bartender, female server and manager were so kind. The owners do a great job as hiring such great team members. Because of the managers hospitality we asked about future events and have already planned to stay at an air bnb across the street for the upcoming soccer games. Small acts of kindness go a long way for keeping locals happy with your business. The food is always consistently amazing. The ambience is just right with the perfect lighting, set up and views. The team members are always so friendly and great at making you feel welcome. Not to forget- Best lomo saltado and skirt steak! Don't miss out on this gem

I have had several things from the menu, including a hamburger, house salad, wild salmon, chicken Melanesia, empanadas and even a hot dog! Everything is fresh and high quality. The salmon is huge and very fresh. It has a mild blackening/seasoning that forms a nice crust. The chicken reminds me of my mom/grandma/great grandma's chicken cutlets! Very Italian/Sicilian vibe. (Get them with mash potatoes). The patio is always comfortable with a great breeze and a view of the ocean a block away. What really stands out here though is the friendly service. Andres has been there almost every night and has always been great. He is very prompt with bringing drinks and food. You can see them hustling down to the kitchen and keeping things running smoothly. But what I like the most is the friendliness. He is always willing to chat about soccer, music, wine, or anything else (but also knows when to leave you alone so you can eat). Also, the value is pretty good. The wine is $10 or less. They have my favorite Malbec. And even the ribeye, at the beach, for $27 is not bad at all. Some of the appetizers are a bit pricey ($13 french fries) but I think all in all its one of the better values in the area. Note they do not serve liquor, only beer and wine. Also, there are no tables inside. Just a small bar inside and then several tables outside. This is a fairly quiet and unpretentious restaurant. If you want a trendy noisy evening this is not the place. It has never been packed, but there is usually a person or two at the bar. They play music but it does not dominate the atmosphere. Usually something chill like reggae. If you want friendly service, good food, and a relaxing environment, then this is a great choice. Dog friendly patio. This is the type of place you can sit with a book and drink wine, or catch the soccer game and have a beer or three. Definitely worth a visit especially if you are staying at the hotel!

I was hesitant when making the reservation because from my experience when restaurants are this close to performing arts centers or arenas the food tends to suck, but I was not disappointed. We parked near the theater, but the restaurant has parking designated to its customers across the street and in the back of the restaurant as well. This is a bonus for me as I avoid downtown Fort Lauderdale because of the parking. We got seated quickly. The patio area is very nice and cozy, but We opted to sit inside. The inside is very small.
