Returned to this beautiful restaurant for a second time and our second experience was absolutely amazing. From the staffs attention to the amazing food options. All items brought out to our table were delicious and so fresh. Our waitress Ms. B was amazing! Was very kind and always made sure that we were taken care of also was very knowledgeable of each food item. The hummus appetizer was definitely a favorite, so fresh and the pita bread was absolutely perfect and warm. The mixed grill was also a good portion for us all and everything cooked perfectly. We also had sangrias and the red sangria was my favorite so refreshing and tasty. Such a great time spent with friends. Can't wait to return again.

Service was excellent, attentive without being smothering. Food was fresh, well prepared, flavorful and generous portions. Menu had a wide variety of options. Many items were gluten free just on the basis of being meat or vegetable. We had the watermelon salad with feta and just a few kalamata olives to add a hint of salt to the dish, hummus with a perfectly baked warm pita bread, papas bravas as good as any I ate in Barcelona, and a chicken and a ground lamb, kababs. Husband said the lamb was just slightly salty. Overall, we enjoyed our meal. It is a noisy place tho. We sat inside due to temp and humidity. Lucky us, the booth location was right next to a large birthday party. There is some texture on the high ceiling, but not enough to absorb all of the noise. We were seated around 8:30 pm on a Friday night in August.

So we went early to meet a friend for a cocktail and tapas. BIG WOW! We sar inside although outside seating is abundant and beautiful. Now the food was extraordinary. I had a smoked wahoo spread with salmon roe and olive oil served with fresh baked pita type bread. Delicious. My friend had grilled shrimp in a chili sauce. Also wonderful. I recommend highly

Our friends and I went on a double date to this Mediterranean restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. The valet only parking was very convenient since it's right next to the restaurant, and we were greeted by beautiful decor and a waterfront view. The restaurant is dimly lit, giving cozy vibes. Our waitress was very attentive and made choosing from the menu easy. We ordered the baba ghanoush, tzatziki, hummus with freshly made pita bread, spinach and cheese pide, along with the watermelon feta salad and the mixed grill with lamb chops and grilled chicken over flavorful rice. Everything was delicious and full of flavor. Even there drinks were perfectly made. We opted for espresso martinis and spicy margaritas. We truly had a magical experience and are already thinking of going back soon.

Amazing place! The cheesecake dessert was so incredible and the entree that stole the show was definitely the white fish! Our server was really kind and helped us choose the perfect dishes

I had no idea about Sotogrande until I had booked a reservation for Calusso and after checking out the menu, decided to head downstairs to check out Sotogrande. It was much livelier than Calusso, with acoustic music and games on at the bar. We grabbed a seat at the bar and were greeted by Christopher who was very friendly and welcoming as well as attentive! I even left my phone in the restroom and the time I went back, it was given to hostess than to him which was a relief! I started off with a lemon drop martini which was amazing! The perfect balance of sweet and tart. We then had the Greek salad- not as authentic as imagined but still delicious and chicken skewers with patatas brava and vegetables . He said it would be a LOT of food and it certainly was- particularly the sides of patatas brava and vegetables which were enormous servings. We split the skewer so didn't have a lot of protein but was balance with all the sides we had. The chicken seemed a bit undercooked and lacked flavor. The vegetables were honestly my favorite, especially the broccolini cooked to perfection. They also serve the sides- I didn't realize one was pure garlic and used too much as its next to tzatziki so would be a suggestion to explain. We ended our night with the baklava which was the best I've had! Overall, it's a great lively spot for celebrations or good spot to grab a drink or dinner at the bar! I'd definitely return!

Sotogrande is located on the property of the newly renovated Pier 66. When you pull up, you can park with the hotel valet and then walk down a flight of stairs that wrap around the swimming pools. You end up in the back of the property where the marina is located. We sat outside on a beautiful cool afternoon for lunch looking out at amazing boats in the marina. The atmosphere is very clean and elegant. They were also kind enough to have heaters outside as it was unusually cool. Our waiter, Nesh, was very kind and had a great sense of humor. He helped us put together a nice meal where we could try several dishes to share. For the appetizer, we ordered the mixed mezze plate which is a sampler of items, including tzatziki, hummus and baba ghanoush along with delicious pita served warm. We then ordered the mixed vegetables which were fresh and delicious. We also shared the fig salad with candied walnuts and balsamic vinaigrette. You can add a protein to the salad - falafel, chicken or shrimp. Sotogrande is a wonderful place to sit, have a great meal and enjoy the view of the new, beautiful property at Pier 66.

What a charming restaurant! The food and service was exceptional at Sotogrande. I appreciated that the menu wasn't overwhelming and the mezze is perfect for sharing. The music is not overwhelming that you can't have conversation and creates a chill, relaxing vibe. Highly recommend the Greek Village and watermelons salads - a light, refreshing start to a meal.

Sotogrande is conveniently located in Pier 66, offering amazing views and breathtaking sunsets. The menu is Mediterranean-inspired, and despite our server's recommendation of the steak, our favorite dishes were the catch of the day and the lamb. The desserts were delicious, especially the Basque cake. What truly surprised us was the quality of their wines. They have some wines specifically imported by one of the owners, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality. We will definitely return when the weather is cooler to enjoy some bites and their delicious wines. We also recommend making reservations since they are a premium location inside the resort, and seating may be limited. Ambiance 5/5 Service 4/5 Food 3.5/5

Loved the outside area. Beautiful view especially at sunset. I arrived a bit later than my friends, when I got there, they had drinks already and our server immediately came to offer me one. She gave us time to talk a bit, look at the menu and place our appetizer orders, making some recommendations as well. The Fig salad was excellent, absolutely recommended it. And it's a good portion to share or to have as an entrée as you can add protein to it for an added cost. We also had the Halloumi, we all enjoyed it and it's another great sharing plate. The Muhammara we all agreed wasn't great. We all have had better at other restaurants. With our meal we had another drink. The entrees were all delicious. I had the Zarazuela de Mariscos and was very happy with the amount of fish, shrimp, and mussels it has. It was a bit spicy but amazingly flavorful. My friends had the NY Strip and added the patatas bravas as a side. They said their steak was cooked perfectly and I got to try the potatoes and can say they were very good too. We kept talking and having a good time but realized we had been a long time with empty wine glasses. Thinking our server, who had been very attentive throughout the night, would be coming over soon to ask if we wanted another glass or desert, we were very surprised when she asked if we were done and would like to have boxes to go. As we asked for dessert she said the "kitchen is closed". Would have been nice to have a heads up. We knew exactly what we wanted to try so that was disappointing. So the vibe turned immediately, especially being a Friday night and being kicked out at 10pm. Still, can't take away from that view and the quality and flavor of their dishes so 1 star off, and hoping they read this and improve to get it back.

Sotogrande is located within the Pier Sixty Six complex. It specializes in the flavors and foods of Spain and the Eastern Mediterranean. its sparkling claim, has beautiful decor and attentive service. The menu is, however, very limited, not a lot to it. I was going to order lamb chops until I found out that they would only prepare them medium, not rare, the chops were thin and Australian....sounded to me like mutton. So, I got the mussels which I was told were done in a Turkish style of cuisine. They were good but for me nothing special. My partner had a Halibut which he enjoyed and I found to be delicious.

I'm late with this review, but I can't skip it! I ate here for breakfast on a quick trip last year, and it was phenomenal! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel like a friend. My Mediterranean breakfast was spectacular. It looks like breakfast is no longer, but I'll be sure to stop back in for lunch or dinner next time I'm in town!

    Octopus and patatas bravas
    Ali C.

What an amazing experience! The food, the atmosphere, the service all 5 stars. It is located at the new Pier Sixty-Six resort. Theme is Mediterranean Tapas. Everything is great for sharing. We started with mahumara (red pepper and walnut dip) and baba ganoush (eggplant dip) and they each had so much flavor. They are served with fresh made puffy pita. We shared some kabobs as well, my favorite was the swordfish. The octopus was tender, the mussels were in a red sauce with soppressata, the steak comes sliced for easy sharing. Patatas Bravas and cauliflower were more than we needed; both had wonderful seasoning. Nice wine selection. Started with a Corfu Blue Sky vodka drink and they made sure it was not too sweet. We passed on dessert, but heard the basque cheesecake is the shining star. If you are in the area check it out. Enjoy!

For the 2nd round, we ordered another round of drinks and then the pan con tumaca, manchego croquettes and octopus in garlic sauce. I loved the toast with tomato "jam" as well as the manchego croquettes...I would re-order both of these. My husband wasn't a fan of the octopus in garlic sauce as he felt it was a bit too salty. He also ordered another dish, the seafood salpicon and this dish he really loved! For dessert we opted for the crema catalana...similar to a creme brulee...it was good...I also had a latte which was a nice accomplishment to the dessert. After dinner we headed to their Hidden Speakeasy (behind the pantro door). In there we each had another drink to end the evening. They do have a food menu in there which was different from the restaurant. It would be fun to just come with a group of friends and chill for a while. All in all, a tasty meal and a fun date night!

A friend and I split the shrimp skewers and a delicious salad, and it turned out to be just the right amount of food. The restaurant is within walking distance of the theater, making it a great pre-show option. Our waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed at first because she was juggling several tables, but things eventually settled down and the service improved. Overall, this is a dependable spot before a show. Just be sure to make a reservation, especially on theater nights! I know why they stay in business because they have good food and have a great location. You know what they say -Location, location, location!

I ordered the chile rellenos cop the menu and it was not that bad. But coming from the West Coast this wasn't the best ones I've had either. The service took a little longer than usual, but the restaurant was packed so that's understandable. Chips and salsa were we're good. This restaurant sits inside of a small shopping center tucked away in the corner. And if you're nearby and craving some Mexican food, this place would be a good place to get food.

The salsa has a good flavor and is made of diced onion, diced tomatoes, fresh cilantro and is not watery and tasteless like so many other places. The spicy has a good kick! My favorite location is the one on 17th street. We love to sit outside under the covered area and enjoy the weather and people watch. always very cold inside, which is great for the summer, but not otherwise. They recently added a happy hour from Sunday - Thursday (I think) and the house frozen margaritas are only $6.00! I still love the chicken fajitas (minus cooked tomatoes) and that it comes with a cup of wonderfully fresh guacamole. Homemade, with great tasting avocado, tomatoes and onions. And it is FREE when you get the fajitas. I do not know of any other Mexican restaurant that offers that. The refried beans are good and always come on a piping hot plate with cheese. The service is always prompt - you are barely seated when they bring you basket of warm tortilla chips and the 2 salsas. They also have lunch specials Monday-Friday :)

But when my partner asked me what I really felt like I said Casa Playa or Chimney house. So we raced to get there at 9:30ish starving. Good thing we asked the kind manager first if they would still serve us food since they closed at 10.. He was kind enough to tell us they would serve us no problem. Glad we asked as the male server who who wasn't even serving us) was quick to walk by when he saw us, not to greet us but to tell us the kitchen was closed. Then seemed annoyed when the manager confirmed we were ok. Thanks buddy. Thankfully we were being served by the kind male bartender with the female server being sweet enough to bring us menus We made sure to have our order in as soon as asked. The male bartender was great. Friendly and made us feel welcome. I have been to this restaurant many times because I love Chimney house and these are the same owners. So I was truly grateful that the bartender, female server and manager were so kind. The owners do a great job as hiring such great team members. Because of the managers hospitality we asked about future events and have already planned to stay at an air bnb across the street for the upcoming soccer games. Small acts of kindness go a long way for keeping locals happy with your business. The food is always consistently amazing. The ambience is just right with the perfect lighting, set up and views. The team members are always so friendly and great at making you feel welcome. Not to forget- Best lomo saltado and skirt steak! Don't miss out on this gem

We came with our own bottle of wine which they were very nice to waive the corking fee. We ordered the skirt steak, ceviche and Cobb salad. The food was delicious. Small portions but very good. No complaints on the food at all. Basic but still good. Our service was not good at all. The waitress was very rude unfortunately. However we still enjoyed our time and happy we came out.

You have to go in the parking lot and get a ticket, but the restaurant will validate it. It has its own entrance from the parking lot. Right when you walk in, it feels very nice and upscale. My husband and I came for a happy hour experience, and tried just about everything. All of it was incredible! The guac was served with a mixture of plantain chips and tortilla chips, which I loved. The corn empanadas were surprisingly a little spicy, but delicious. The mac and cheese came in a skillet with tajin breadcrumbs, and was super creamy and delicious. The elote was probably my favorite. You can't beat truffle! I also especially loved the yuca that came with the beef. The drinks were super strong. After about a drink and a half (the hibiscus margarita and the Mexican mojito), I found myself needing to probably cut myself off. We sat at the bar, and the server who helped us was really nice. If you're looking for a nicer and more upscale happy hour experience, this is it. It's a great night out with amazing food. Highly highly highly recommended!
