Last evening we were at the Marina Bay Village to see what's new here. We were a little bit hungry and thought we would try this newer Mexican resturant/kiosk. It is located across from Shorley, our actual destination. We ordered the Carne Asada tacos to share with a bottle of water each. We sat outside. Unfortunately, our tacos were just okay. Not as flavorful as others we have tasted, kind of bland. Maybe it's because they are new in business. We may wait a while before returning to this spot.

This stand was the only choice for Mexican food in the Marina Bay Village. The taco plate consists of 3 soft tacos of your own choice. No mixing. About $16 for the platter. The tacos were average at best...not great, not very flavorful, but here you are paying for the setting, the ambiance and the cool hip location. Chips and salsa were $8. Overpriced when compared to other Mexican places in the area, but about right for those who want to check a new Hot Spot.

This place is located inside the new Marina Village in Ft. Lauderdale. It's towards the end of the outdoor food court. The Marina Village alone is worth going to. However, we were in the mood for tacos and bowls. The Birria Tacos were delicious! The service was fast and they call you/ notify you once your food is ready via text. I got the steak bowl and here's why I gave it 4. The steak was more like cheesesteak meat, not sirloin or steak steak like I expected. It also was a bit dry. I also asked for sour cream and it was missing, no worries I was able to walk back and ask for some. I had to use some of the consommé from the birria to make the steak moist. The flavor was 2.5/5. The birria was 4/5. The service and ambience I give a 5.

We really enjoyed the mahi tacos and guac. You can't beat the views here. Ordering is very easy. The chips were delicious - the guac could have had a little more flavor but it was very fresh avocado. We will definitely head back soon!

Great little food truck spot outside the Bahia Mahr hotel. It's new and great. A bunch of different eateries to choose from, I opted for some tacos that weren't too bad! They were kind of expensive, $20 for 3 carne asada tacos. They were tasty though. 5 stars mostly for the location and concept which is just fantastic as an out of towner here on business!

wow this location is so beautiful! it's a fun area to walk around and i love that there's tons of food options in one vicinity. i got the steak quesadilla and it was okay. i like the cheese they used but i wish they gave bigger chunks of meat. the food in this area is also pretty overpriced.

1 of 8 Food Kiosk at the now open Marina Village at Bahia Mar. The tacos were sold as a 3 pack, but they didn't allow you to switch or mix the protein ie - Carne Asada, shrimp, chicken, or pork, all 3 tacos had to be the same. Make it acceptable to have a sampler platter, so you can find your favorite. The tacos were fresh & tasty. Prices a little higher than normal, which is expected for the water side ambiance. Service was a bit on the slow side.

This is probably the saddest bowl I've ever had. This bowl lacked flavor. Presentation looks like nothing. On top of that I waited 30 minutes for my bowl. When people who were ordering after me, got their food before me. Needless to say, I'll never eat here again.

Fantastic new spot!! Great location, amazing atmosphere and killer food! Shrimp tacos are spot on and the presentation, art! Good job Taco Vibes, keep it up!

There was a large party that seemed to cause major delays, and we ended up waiting about an hour for our food. Thankfully, the drinks were strong, so we had a great time catching up while we waited. We started with the guacamole, which was incredibly fresh and addictive. I ordered the Fresh Herbs Swai, and although they were out of the coconut rice, the dish was still flavorful and delicious. We also tried the Cuban 4 Leches cake and flan, and both were pretty good. Despite the long wait, this remains one of my favorite low-key spots. The food never disappoints, and I plan to return whenever I'm in the area.

Everything changed when our fajitas arrived. We ordered the Mixed Fajitas with beef steak, shrimp, and chicken. After we'd been eating for a while, my husband suddenly said the steak smelled and tasted spoiled. I realized I had noticed an odd smell when I ate a piece earlier, but I thought maybe it was just me. Then one of our friends said she thought it tasted bad too and had actually spit it out into a napkin. We immediately called the server over. He took the entire cast-iron fajita skillet back to the kitchen and said he would check with the chef. After a long wait, he came back and told us that both the chef and the prep cook insisted there was nothing wrong with the steak because it had been cut just yesterday. They claimed the "smell" was coming from the sauce. We asked them to bring us the sauce separately. We all tasted it, and the sauce had absolutely no bad smell at all. It clearly wasn't the source of the problem. Even then, they refused to acknowledge that anything was wrong with the steak, but they could remake the meat if we want. We then asked to speak with the manager. A young manager came over, we asked if any of them has tasted the beef steak left in the fajitas skillet, she said she believed us tasted and smelled it but she simply repeated the same explanation. She said they were a family-owned business that cared deeply about their reputation, so the meat had to be fresh. Her solution remained unchanged, she can bring us a remake of the meat. By that point, we had already finished most of the meal. What good would another plate do? We weren't asking for more food--we wanted them to acknowledge the issue and handle it appropriately. The ending was honestly unbelievable. They took just $6 off the entire bill, saying they had removed the cost of the steak from the fajitas. I've never experienced a resolution like that at any restaurant. The only conclusion I can come to is that this is a tourist area in Fort Lauderdale. They saw that we were visitors, figured we'd be leaving town soon, and simply didn't care about making things right because we'd probably never be back anyway. I haven't left reviews at Yelp for many years, but I'd like to share this experience. Hopefully it helps others decide whether they want to take the risk of dining here.

We sat outside and watched people jogging up the A1A and frolicking on the beach. It's a good spot to people watch. Once we were seated, we were instructed on where the food was located, and our drink orders were taken. The worst part: There are NO scrambled eggs in a heated pan to serve yourself. That leaves you with no choice but to wait in the egg line where the chef makes your eggs for you. Boooo! What if I just wanted plain ole eggs? Or, I don't feel like waiting 30 minutes in a line to have an omelet made? It's brunch, but it really serves more of a lunch menu. It is a Mexican restaurant, so that's what you'll find. There's a make-your-own taco bar, ceviche, chips & guac, etc. But I'm a breakfast person. The waffle strips tasted store-bought (and came with syrup in a little jam container), and the mac & cheese was an afterthought. Again, probably Kraft. Luckily, once you drink enough mimosas, nothing else matters. So yeah, that's where the DJ saves the day. They also had endless margaritas, but them joints tasted TART. Those little cheesecake squares were pretty good. Otherwise, I don't think I'd come back for this brunch.

(With lots of tequilas, beers, and craft cocktails) We had a group of 7 on a Saturday night. We tried to get a reservation but after many calls; no one ever answered the phone. We decided to risk it because we were going pretty early, 6:00. We did have to attend an 8;00 show at the Broward Center which is just 1/2 a mile away. The place was pretty empty and we had no problem getting a few tables put together. There is a very extensive menu with lots of apps, a few salads, enchiladas, fajitas, and at least 15 taco varieties. I ordered a reposado margarita, which was fabulous, for $15. For food I went with the Trio of Tacos for $18. There was one chicken taco, one carnitas taco, and one gringo beef taco. The tortillas were small; but they were piled high! They were also tasty. One friend had the Citrus Mango Shrimp Tacos, $19. She said they were very good. Two friends had the Baja Fish Tacos on our servers recommendation, $19. One friend said they were just ok because they weren't crunchy at all and she didn't care for the cilantro slaw filling, the other friend thought they were delicious and savory! Yet another friend had the chicken nachos. She didn't care for them at all because they had a cheese sauce as opposed to authentic shredded cheese. Our waiters were attentive; but we did have a little delay with one of the fish taco orders. Everyone had food except for one diner and we had to flag down a server and wait quite a while for her to finally get her meal. Everyone on the staff was friendly though, and they didn't mind giving us separate checks. If you are looking for casual Mexican dining, or just want to have a few appetizers and drinks; Bandoleros is a good option that won't break the bank!

They're incredibly friendly and even come out to chat with guests, which makes the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. The barbacoa tacos are hands down my favorite. The meat is unbelievably tender literally falling apart and so juicy and flavorful. I also tried the campechano tacos (a mix of chorizo and steak) and they were sooo good. Perfectly seasoned and packed with flavor. And let's talk about their chipotle salsa... I'm obsessed. I was putting it on everything on the table. It has the perfect smoky kick and just elevates every bite. The guac and chips were good, though they didn't quite stand out compared to how incredible the tacos were.
