Still in Fort Lauderdale, my lovely foodies! I stopped by The Mainland Bar, where you'll find a variety of food vendors to choose from. One spot I had to try was Tacos Vibes! Now, I must admit, I'm a taco lover, so of course I had to stop and grab the shrimp tacos. The order came with 3 tacos and cost about $18 with tax. I have to say, the shrimp was seasoned just right, and all the flavors came together perfectly on this beautiful sunny Florida day. How could I forget? We also ordered a steak bowl with rice and refried beans , and it was just as delicious. The portions were generous, so you'll definitely leave full and happy . The service was quick, which is always a plus, and the atmosphere made the experience even better. One thing I really liked about this spot is that you can bring your own drinks, or if you'd rather, you can stop by The Mainland Bar and purchase some there. They also have a few dessert vendors nearby if you're looking to satisfy your sweet tooth after your meal. The atmosphere is relaxed, the waterfront views are beautiful, and it's a great place to hang out, grab a bite, and enjoy the day. If you're in the area, definitely check it out! To begin with, the tacos are good. If that's the only criteria, this would be a five-star review. I ordered the mahi and my friend ordered the chicken. The order comes with three tacos, and they also have beef and pork, but you can't have different tacos in the same order. That costs them one star. Every place I go for tacos allows you to mix them up, but not here. I don't see any reason why they would have this policy, but they do. The second reason why they lost a star is their price. I came here with a coworker and we each ordered the three tacos, as stated above, and a bottle of Coke. The total was $46.29. That's a bit ridiculous for lunch for two people. In fact, that's very expensive, and for that, they lose another star. So, if you want good, but very overpriced tacos, this is your place. If you want good and reasonably priced tacos, try Zona Fresca. I enjoy their tacos just as much as these and at a much better price. read more

Last evening we were at the Marina Bay Village to see what's new here. We were a little bit hungry and thought we would try this newer Mexican resturant/kiosk. It is located across from Shorley, our actual destination. We ordered the Carne Asada tacos to share with a bottle of water each. We sat outside. Unfortunately, our tacos were just okay. Not as flavorful as others we have tasted, kind of bland. Maybe it's because they are new in business. We may wait a while before returning to this spot. read more

This stand was the only choice for Mexican food in the Marina Bay Village. The taco plate consists of 3 soft tacos of your own choice. No mixing. About $16 for the platter. The tacos were average at best...not great, not very flavorful, but here you are paying for the setting, the ambiance and the cool hip location. Chips and salsa were $8. Overpriced when compared to other Mexican places in the area, but about right for those who want to check a new Hot Spot. read more

This place is located inside the new Marina Village in Ft. Lauderdale. It's towards the end of the outdoor food court. The Marina Village alone is worth going to. However, we were in the mood for tacos and bowls. The Birria Tacos were delicious! The service was fast and they call you/ notify you once your food is ready via text. I got the steak bowl and here's why I gave it 4. The steak was more like cheesesteak meat, not sirloin or steak steak like I expected. It also was a bit dry. I also asked for sour cream and it was missing, no worries I was able to walk back and ask for some. I had to use some of the consommé from the birria to make the steak moist. The flavor was 2.5/5. Great little food truck spot outside the Bahia Mahr hotel. It's new and great. A bunch of different eateries to choose from, I opted for some tacos that weren't too bad! They were kind of expensive, $20 for 3 carne asada tacos. They were tasty though. 5 stars mostly for the location and concept which is just fantastic as an out of towner here on business! read more

Visited marina village on a busy Saturday for a friends birthday. Great location with views of the water. Although it was crowded, food order took 15-20 minutes as anticipated. I placed order through my phone which was a bit confusing as there were several options to remove ingredients not even in the tacos then to add, it didn't even include some basic options. The tortillas were fresh but fell apart into pieces and they didn't provide any utensils, I ate the tacos with chopsticks I had from another order. Love this new spot off Fort Lauderdale Beach. So far the sushi, burgers, gelato, and taco places are open as well as the boat bar and the mainland bar. This spot is on in a strip with multiple other food spots around it. I ordered the asada tacos, asada burrito, and the shrimp tacos. The asada was really good, but coming from California they are definitely not street tacos. They are super yummy though. They had some red onion which I think was a nice touch. The shrimp tacos were a bit dry so they were just okay. They had a lot of purple cabbage, and I believe my sauce was not added on which contributed to the dryness of the tacos. We are from NJ and grabbed some birria tacos and street corn before our river cruise and I didn't expect much from a small taco joint/food row but WOW!! So so good!! The girl working the register was also very sweet and kind and the chef guy was also very friendly and answered my questions (I don't like seafood and asked if the chips are fried in the same fryer as the fish ((it is bwt)). 10/10 would recommend!! read more

This place is disgusting. I ordered the carne asada bowl and the meat looked like dog food. It took over 40 minutes to get my order. This was definitely not worth the wait. It had no flavor and was not even edible. I asked for my money back and the girl at the register did not even seem surprised. It looked like it was the norm for them. I typically do not complain much less ask for my money back but it was just so disgusting, I could not let them get away with such terrible service and low quality food.
