I have always played basketball. I have always preferred organized basketball opposed to pickup street ball at the park or the gym. When I go to other gyms I'll wait up to 2 hours for a single game. Or when I go to the gym during rush hour I can never hop on a free treadmill. Here at pickup it solves all those problems. There's rarely people working out at this gym but if there is it's only about two or three people using the area. It's always clean, always smells good, always the perfect temperature in the facility. But the pride and joy of this gym is the Pick up basketball games. From 6-9pm during the week and early mornings on the weekends there are pick up games with referees and practice jerseys for everyone. Each game is ten minutes and sudden death overtime usually caused by a free throw. Yes there are free throws. Last ten seconds of the game every foul sends you to the line. It really is the best gym money has to offer if your a basketball player. If your a parent with kids wanting to join the game. They now have a youth league from 6-13 years old. They have skills camp for the kids and personal one on one training as well.

In comparison, Club Pilates have the best intro basics class that not only give you a good overview of their classes but also basics in correct pilates form which is essential in pilates practice. I took pilates elsewhere before and 30 mins here clarified a lot for me. Our instructor was Ricardo and he's not shy in correcting form. I also appreciate how he spoke to us individually about previous injuries and if we're okay with physical touch to form correct instead of directing the questions to the whole group. They have a variety of classes/levels/programs, so find one that suit your needs. If you're curious about pilates, I definitely recommend checking them out. After the intro class, you'll at least know the basics.

They rotate the sport cycle so basically your kid gets to do all 4 major sports, for him its: Basketball, Baseball, Soccer, then Football in the fall. He loves it. They also have girls sports. I love the coaches and the kid coaches (mostly high schoolers from their Arcadia campus private HS helping out ) It is Christian based and they do have a bible study type of team meeting once per week. I don't love the big fundraiser at the end of the school year, which includes mandatory selling of 150.00 worth of circus tickets, but at least we are not peddling chocolates all year long. The front desk employees are great, especially Savannah. Most of the people have worked here for years and years and it shows. I'll come back and will just put on my clothes over wet swimsuits, cover my car seat with a tarp, and just drive home!

Absolutely the worst gym experience I've ever had…read more Mind you I've been a member here at this location for 8 years until now. During my workout, a random guy approached me and started talking aggressively to me and trying to provoke a fight for no apparent reason. I defended myself verbally and yelled back after he continued escalating the situation. He then told me to "walk outside," and we both went outside. I was disgusted how, after reading everyone's reviews, I'm guessing her name is Natalie, kicked me out of the gym while allowing the other guy to walk right back inside and continue his workout. I was completely shocked by how unprofessionally and unfairly the situation was handled. I defended myself after being approached and confronted, yet I was the only person who was removed from the gym. The other individual faced no apparent consequences and wasn't even spoken to, as far as I could see. But wait, there's more. To top it all off, she calls the sheriff's department across the street, and law enforcement shows up while I'm outside. It was easily one of the strangest and craziest gym experiences I've ever had. I'm extremely disappointed with how I was treated and how management handled the situation. I plan to report the incident to corporate. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this location to anyone. Think twice before spending your money here.
