I have very curly long hair and heard some good things about the Ouidad cut here. If I'm not mistaken, I think at the time they charged less than $100 (other salons charge nearly triple that for a Ouidad) so I thought I was in luck. If you have curly hair, I definitely suggest investing in a more qualified stylist/salon to perform your curly cut, as I left with an extremely choppy and uneven cut. Each layer was so separate from the next. I was heartbroken. Side note: after visiting a specialty curl salon almost a year after my cut at Salon one, the new stylist described my hair as "square," and "disconnected." Anyway I'm sure they can cut straight hair.

After paying $188, my hair looked exactly the same -- they didn't fix the color at all, and even added more blonde, which I didn't ask for. When I called to let them know, they told that they could give me another appointment but I'd have to pay another $180+ to redo it. Honestly, it's unacceptable to pay that much and leave with no visible difference. I wouldn't recommend this salon.
