The biggest miss for me was dessert. The strawberry balsamic cheesecake just didn't work at all. The balsamic flavor completely overpowered everything, and I honestly hated it. They used bucatini (while this is one of my fave pasta shapes) which is all wrong for carbonara. There was a lack of sauce as you can see from the picture and no eggy flavor at all. It was drenched in parmesan flakes and they didn't even use guanciale or even pancetta! The portion was too small for a pasta dish and for the high price. Our appetizer of pork belly was delish but I would've gone easier on the frying. BF's entree of spatchcock chicken was great as well. I ate a lot of that instead of my entree... Not impressed that in a place like this, they asked if we wanted to tack on bread service for $5.99. Wow, they can't even include it like most restaurants? Non merci! Ultimately after some back and forth, he acknowledged that a change was made to the cost by the restaurant that he wasn't aware of, and charged the correct amount and provided an apology.
