We were looking for pizzas to take and bake for our New year's Eve party. oddly enough many pizza places were closed New year's Eve which you would think that would be one of the busiest days for them. It's not the case here. You can order them cooked or completely uncooked. We ordered four pizzas a pepperoni oh, a four cheese with half sausage, a King Pizza which is basically a white garlic pizza with tomatoes and a pulled pork pizza BBQ. The peaches come on their own plates that you put right into the oven and bake them right there. No baking stone or cookie sheet is needed nor recommended. when you take the pizzas out of the rapper you're supposed to let them sit and let the dough rise for about 15 minutes and that's exactly what we did. A pizza is cooked up a wonderfully the dough was better than anything I've had. This place is owner on site and he even gave us a little platter of deserts because it was New years and he's a nice guy. if you're ever in there stop in and say hi to John. I really enjoy the pizza at J's. The huge selection of their menu suggestions makes deciding SO tough and then you also have the option of creating your own pie. They will wrap up your pizza to take home and bake fresh for later or they will cook it to perfection in their in store pizza oven. I've tried both and always been satisfied with the product. The crust is a thin style hand tossed pie. It has a nice crisp exterior with a fresh chew to it. There is the perfect amount of ingredients on top where they don't all fall off. There is no excessive grease. I enjoy the whole wheat crust option as well for a healthier choice and hear they make a pretty good gluten free crust too. This take and bake option is great for parties. They make a perfect app if you cut them in to squares after home baking. The shop is very clean and most of our visits, the owner has been there. Some day I will try a salad. I've heard they're really good. Considering the fresh pizza ingredients, I'd expect the same of the salads and sandwiches. read more

Stumbled across this amazing spot. Highway had some major traffic. Needed gas and a restroom. Could not find a gas station and became frustrated until we came across the pizza place. Did not expect to have a positive experience but we did. Atmosphere is laid back. The girl that helped us is very helpful, friendly and a hard worker. I did not get her name but she is knowledgeable about her pizzas and products. She even helped us with directions :) Anyways, I've worked in the service industries and it's nice to have an amazing experience like the kind we experienced today. I guess that you can also take home uncooked pizzas for your home oven. But we did not want to do that. The pizza was very good!! When trying a new pizza place I usually order the plain Neapolitan style as this is a good way to start a judge pizza. Pizza was okay, I've had it cooked there, and I've taken it home to cook myself, I do appreciate the high quality ingredients. However, the service is very slow, and the people who I've encountered working there are very young and unprofessional. It's the little things like having very personal conversations within earshot of the customers, and wearing shorts so short you can see their bottoms hanging out, hair is not tied back, long fake nails... Not really the people who I want to prepare my food. I won't personally go back again, but I wouldn't stop a friend from trying it. read more
