Stopped in for a beverage at the bar. Service is very friendly. Complimentary chips and salsa were brought to us immediately as we perused the menu. The cocktail, La Distileria Suprema, lived up to its name. Poured in a ceramic glass resembling a blue agave heart, this margarita had a kick. Three different liquors are used (reposado tequila, orange liqueur, and St. George's pear liqueur) with fresh lime and agave nectar. I recommend getting the Tajin rim to add some spice and salt. An arch of luchador masks greets you when you enter. There are a couple of seating options, either in the bar area or the separate dining area. Happy Hour (Hora Feliz) runs M-F 2-6pm with 50% off tapas.

Food was delicious. Everything I had was so good. Had the pazole and that was beyond good.

Service was great and on queue! Happy hour is amazing !! Had the wings and legs , have to say the wing sauce is better than most wing places around here. We frequent this place often and are making our way around the menu, and have not been disappointed.

Being a truly NAFTA family, who has lived in Mexico and Canada, we have international tastes. What I was most impressed with was the friendliness of the staff and and owner. Their liquor license had been temporarily suspended due to the faults of the state. Now booze is back. I had the Barria tacos and a nice salad. My spouse had the pozole. It wasn't quite what she read expected, but when she put wine in it, taste improved. Perhaps the Cook should just squeeze the lime in it ahead of time. She still thought that it tasted different from she's had in Mexico. She did like that. She liked my Birria better. I read the reviews of Alex A, Mary D, and Linda B. These spoiled-brat harridans came with American expectations and did not realize that this is a part of Chilango cuisine. Sure, I could work a week-or-two in that kitchen and probably improve the items on the menu and the menu itself but all in all I think it is a good place. We will return.

This food was amazing! A couple small plates and a Shank! Service was great!

I've been amazed at how often I must ASK for a second corn tortilla per taco. I'm even more amazed when I'm asked to PAY EXTRA when a second tortilla is requested. Service was Fast and Friendly. While music would add to the atmosphere, I suggest simply picnicking with tacos outside in the gas stations courtyard. Pro tip: buy a 24 oz Colorado Cool Aid in the liquor store adjacent to the restaurant. But if you dine in, you'll be in cramped quarters with a small TV

They absolutely do have really solid food, good portions for the price and speedy/pleasant service. To me, it's still missing that "it" factor and thing that draws me in where I can't stop thinking about it or the next time I need to go back. I don't necessarily crave anything or feel the need to go completely out of my way to come here. I hope they continue to be super successful and always support great local spots so come check them out for sure.

One star because of the awful experience at Teocalli in Lafayette. It's a very noisy place, but we…read moredecided to try it anyway, which turned out to be a mistake. My friend ordered an enchilada, and I ordered the carne asada. The place was half empty, so it was strange that our food took more than 30 minutes to arrive after we ordered. They had only a few servers working, and the fact that we only saw our waiter run by once or twice in that 30-minute wait for our food was not helpful. As time passed, I looked for wait staff to ask about my food, but I couldn't find any as none passed our way. The food was dropped at the table, and I got the impression that they were kitchen staff who dropped the plates and quickly ran off. My first impression of the food was shock, thinking, "They charge $25 for that tiny plate? You gotta be kidding me." The presentation was okay, but as you can see from the pic, the overpriced meal only covered a tiny portion of the undersized plate. It left a lot to be desired. Since our waiter was nowhere in sight, I had to go up to the bar to ask for salt. With my first bite, I found the potatoes cold, possibly because my food had been sitting around for quite some time. Sadly, after cutting into my supposed-to-be-medium-and-pink carne asada, it was cooked dry to shoe leather and inedible. It was disgusting. I grabbed a passing waiter and asked him to send my waiter over. He offered to help me, so I explained to him that this was disgusting and not what I ordered. He did offer to make me a new one, but after waiting 30+ minutes for my food and being served this, I lost my appetite. Yes, they took it off the bill, but still charged $3 for a Coke. Real classy. I enjoy fine dining and excellent cuisine, but to call this fine dining would be an insult to fine dining. Do better, Teocalli

It's also situated on the west side of a liquor store, so there's shade in the morning, a few benches to settle on, and a liquor store to browse. If you want to wait in your car, then they'll give you a buzzer. In this economy, the prices were very reasonable. And given how good the food is, this is good value. The breakfast burrito is stuffed quite nicely. Plenty of potato, egg, cheese, and protein. Very good ratio too. Not too much or too little on any ingredient, like cheese or potato. We got asada and al pastor tacos. While they aren't like the greatest of all time, they were very solid. Generous portions of meat, as expected for street tacos. Al pastor has the marinade and pineapple flavor shining through nicely. The meats were prepared and cut perfectly well, which matter a lot for street tacos. Cilantro, onion, double corn tortilla... check, check, and check. Finally the salsas are awesome. Red and green. Good amount of kick to it, and fantastic flavors to put onto street tacos and burritos. Definitely check out this taco truck. I have a hard time believing that this wouldn't be in anyone's top 5 tacos in Colorado.
