My sister, niece and I went for dinner the other night. They were able to squeeze us in without a reservation which was great but the hostess had absolutely no idea what was going on. Not sure if she was new or what. Our server was lovely though! We got the carrots, cauliflower, and the buffalo ragu (I think it was Buffalo - maybe boar?) and the the sticky toffee pudding cake for dessert. All of the dishes were delicious!! The carrots were cooked perfectly! Not sure what the purre was on the bottom but it was yummy! Loved the nuts for a crunch also! The cauliflower was yummy and the sauce was fantastic! The ragu was just scrumptious and the toffee cake was amazing!! We really enjoyed our meal!

Green gem salad was delicious but the upcharge of $7 for 5 TINY pieces of shrimp is laughable. Either use larger shrimps or double the amount. See pic

TLDR: MID. we got the poutine, mushroom risotto, and the birria grilled cheese with a side of Mac n cheese (we love cheese, mushrooms, and risotto normally). We were underwhelmed. Our waitress was very nice even though the food took awhile. The place has a cool vibe but not worth it for just okay food. One last thing- our waitress asked if I wanted chicken on the risotto and I said yes. I was shook when the waitress put this dry af chicken thigh in a bowl in front of me...

A very nice date night spot! Food was pretty good with unique flavors and combos. Tried the mushroom poutine (3/5 not my favorite and lacking some flavor depth), roasted cauliflower (4.5/5 this was great, a lot of aioli on it though), wild boar bucatini (4/5 really tasty but a whole lot of excess oil), and sticky toffee pudding (5/5 would recommend). Overall a tasty spot and I love that the menu is seasonal!

(STILL MIND BLOWING ~ lunch review!) Community Supper Club has been the best restaurant in Lafayette, CO for dinner for years now. Until recently, they weren't open for lunch however something magical happened this Spring and BAM! They are now open for delicious business starting at 11:30am. This officially makes them the best lunch spot in town. :D Why? Well... because it's the exact same menu, staff, vibe and service as dinner! Everything stays 5 STAR+. In fact, it just gives you the opportunity to try something off the menu that maybe feels more lunchtime than dinner. As stated in previous reviews, I've eaten here a handful of times. Yet, I've never had anything from the handheld / sandwich section of the menu. It was a new day today, though! That's right. My husband and I tried the Crispy Sweet Sesame Chicken Sandwich w/ a side salad and the Pastrami Sandwich w/ tots. They were both 5 STARS but the Crispy Sweet Sesame Chicken Sandwich was CLUCKING FANTASTIC!! Shout out to our waitress, Brady, who really suggested this to us. Thank goodness we listened, because it may have been one (if not the best) chicken sandwich we'd ever had!! What made it so special? I think it was their use of chicken thigh instead of breast. It made the sandwich so juicy!! Highly recommend. (insert emoji smiley face w/ heart eyes) *BONUS* The back patio is open! It's cute. It's quaint. It's the perfect midday date!

    4% Kitchen Love

I have mixed feelings about the Community Supper Club. The double cheeseburger with bacon costs $22, and it was average at best--bordering on poor. The bun fell apart, leaving me to eat the burger with a fork, and the flavor was just okay. The patties were too dense, and there was nothing exciting about this expensive burger. Red Robin offers a far better burger at 50% less. This burger was about as disappointing as a burger could be, so I give it 2 stars. On the other hand, the Wild Boar Bucatini was 5 stars and absolutely amazing! Service was attentive and good--4 stars. However, the restaurant was cold, and my wife and I both had to keep our jackets on throughout the meal. - 3 stars The biggest disappointment--and the main reason I would never go back--is the 4% Kitchen Tip that gets added to your bill. I just hate when restaurants do this because I know many people don't catch it and end up tipping on top of the 4%. While I appreciate the challenges restaurants have faced since COVID, I strongly disagree with the practice of adding hidden fees like a 4% "back of house fee" or "kitchen love" charge to the bill. These fees feel deceptive and unnecessary. If a restaurant needs to pay their staff better, they should simply raise menu prices transparently rather than tacking on a mandatory charge at the end of the meal. As a customer, I want to know upfront what I'm paying for, and I don't think it's fair to disguise what is essentially a wage adjustment as a separate fee. This practice shifts the burden of fair compensation onto diners in a way that feels sneaky and undermines trust. I would much rather see higher menu prices that reflect the true cost of running the business than be surprised by hidden charges on my bill. For this reason, I always deduct one star when a restaurant uses this tactic. Transparency and fairness matter, and I hope more restaurants will move toward honest pricing instead of relying on these hidden fees.

We were traveling on a road trip from NC and needed a place to eat food. Community Supper club was awesome for food and drinks and service. We had the gem greens salad (house bleu cheese dressing / squash / candied nuts / gorgonzola blue cheese / pepitas). Then we had the mussels (tasso ham / fennel / green onion / apple / sourdough). Everything was delicious and we kept the restaurant open a little later (sorry).

    Eggplant sandwich and tots

Visiting from out of town and wanted a nice spot to eat with a friend. I picked this place because a quick look at the menu showed a few vegan options (I'm vegan). There were 2 vegan options-an entree and a sandwich. The sandwich was more affordable so I chose that option. It was a crispy eggplant sandwich on sourdough which sounds meh--but it was PHENOMENAL!!!! One of the best sandwiches I have ever had in my life. Even if you aren't vegan you need to try this amazing creation. It came with tots but you could upgrade to mac and cheese (not vegan) or salad. We sat on the back patio area which was very nice. It did sprinkle rain a little bit not heavily. The inside of the restaurant was quite dark. The front patio was nice looking too! I appreciated the jug of water on the table as I dislike always needing a refill. The wait staff was very attentive. I will definitely be back here when I'm back in town. They should add a few 100% vegan appetizers!! That would make this place 6 stars!

I absolutely loved the ambiance and service. Our waitress was super informative and gave excellent recommendations. I highly recommend ordering tapas/family style. For the sides: Mac and Cheese was very delicious. Probably my favorite! It had the right amount of cheese and the crisp added the right amount of texture. It also wasn't over cheesed! Mushroom poutine had so much flavor. The cheese curds in it were also amazing! Mains: I absolutely loved the gnocchi. It wasn't too cheesy and the fresh vegetables added a variety of texture and flavor. It was my favorite dish. Birria was juicy and excellent twist to the grill cheese. So good!

This extraordinary restaurant located in downtown Lafayette is a surprising gem. When you arrive, be on the lookout for street parking. There is some, but take the first one you see within 3 blocks! We made a reservation in advance through OpenTable and were seated immediately upon arrival. There were 5 people in our party and we had an amazing corner table with plenty of room and we could hear each other with no problem. The staff was prompt, the cocktails were delicious and the food was extraordinary. Seriously that mushroom poutine was out of this world! We will definitely be back.

The sound and the joy gave off such a great vibe immediately when walking into this establishment. This review is based on a sit down dinner and a take out on another night because our sit down was so good! Here's all that we tried: POST CHEDDAR BISCUITS - hot and cheesy - these were not as flakey as they looked like they were going to be. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. ROASTED BRUSSELS SPROUTS - sweet and spicy peppers, garlic mojo, cotija cheese | *a portion of sales from this item go to Zero Foodprint -- an org working to combat climate change in the food & beverage industry - these were good, great crispiness, char was flavorful and the sauce was sweet and tangy. Subsequently, I made a hash for breakfast with leftovers from here and these proved to be GOOD flavoring. GREEN CHILE BISON SAUSAGE BOARD (LAFAYETTE) - Rock river bison sausages, hard boiled eggs, dill pickles, bread and butter pickle relish, baked baguette, peach honey mustard - I'm a sucker for charcuterie, the bison sausage was so delicious, I ordered another after we finished the first. This also went into the next day hash! FRIED HALF CHICKEN - our famous gluten free fried chicken, choice of side, pickles, and a biscuit - ordered this on or second visit (takeout night) and did not regret a thing. It was fantastically fried to crispy perfection. The chicken was juicy and tasted like they brined it in pickle juice. CHICKEN TENDERS - all natural tenders, breaded and fried, served with ranch - good chicken, also went into the hash. OG POST BURGER*- american cheese, bacon onion jam, special sauce, griddled sourdough english muffin & fries - good burger, personally, I'd appreciate better cheese! QUINOA & KALE - quinoa, kale, arugula, roasted sweet potatoes, pickled red onions, roasted tomatoes, cucumbers, toasted sesame and sunflower crunch, lemon tahini dressing - the dressing MADE this salad, good job Chef! PUEBLO GREEN CHILE MAC & CHEESE - nothing spectacular, I would have liked this with more green chile and a better cheese base. The parking isn't a lot, but it didn't seem like people had trouble at all. We walked. It's a great little neighborhood restaurant. As I said early on, it was tasty enough to warrant a second visit!

TV's over the bar are impossible to watch from the bar if you're not an Owl and have a double joint neck. They're located at 90 degrees ABOVE the bar?? Owners have strategically placed the one TV in the bar over the sweltering patio to maximize glare, so nothing can be clearly seen. But good news: you can lower shades, YOURSELF to partially reduce the glare! Why can't management do it? Maybe they're not getting their cut from the $20/cheese burger?! Maybe they're too ignorant to know The World Cup Soccer Finals are playing? Atmosphere is horrible for watching sports. Prices are absurd, and service beyond taking orders is absent. Pay for a beer, then find another place. Better yet, just go elsewhere. This is more a family fried chicken restaurant for those that cannot order from Chik-fil-A after church, or for the 1% or Earth's population that's never heard of KFC.

Sure it's not WeldWerks crazy but it's certainly more adventurous than a lot of breweries offering wise. Was a nice day so the patio was lively. The old brew house has now been converted to additional seating and it can also be rented out as an event space. They've added a permanent food truck in the middle of the patio. Burgers and salads but some nice side options as well. Four or five tables for seating directly across from the truck and some lower seats to lounge or chill as if you were around the campfire. Not needed for this year's mild winter but patio heaters too! Inside you've got bar seating. Plenty of tables both high and low. Even a quieter "kids nook" with some toys and a number of books. Huge perk as a parent is that BOTH bathrooms have a baby changing table! Small thing but a rarity these days. Especially having one in the men's room at all. Game and novelty vending machine adjacent to the brewery merch. They have a large number of board games for rent as well as hosting a number of game nights. Great space and vibe. It's actually quite easy to miss with Teocalli having way more business just one street down. It's got a lovely interior with lots of wood and a nice rooftop patio. Walking in, I wouldn't think much of it. The menu is relatively simple with some appetizers, salads, hot dogs, sandwiches, and some other things. Where this place shines is their bacon, and by extension their sandwiches. Multiple people I've gone with have said the JGBLT is the best sandwich they've ever had. It's certainly up there for me, just behind panino I've had in Italy. It's nothing complicated, but each part of the sandwich is so well done that the finished product is understated and overwhelming. So good. It's also the perfect portion, every time. It doesn't seem to matter how hungry I am when I come in. They have an excellent beer list with lots of things to choose from. The whiskey menu is absolutely insane, and the whiskey flights are necessary to digest it. A small thing that is really nice- their sodas. It's not just coca cola or Pepsi products- they have craft sodas, which are really excellent. Additionally, you can get their non alcoholic cocktails for the same price as just a soda, which is lovely. The daily specials are always fantastic and a good way to get something unexpected. I will be extremely sad when I have to move from Lafayette, as this restaurant is one of my favorites in the world.
