My friend and I visited for Saturday lunch and it wasn't crowded. We were able to sit where we wanted which was nice. For drinks, I got a French Martini and she got a Dirty Martini. Both were delicious and served in beautiful glasses. We later shared an espresso martini. The server asked if we wanted cream in it; get the cream. We definitely second guessed ourselves with being asked; but thankfully, it was easy to add in after the fact. For food, we shared some bites. The Caesar Salad was the most underwhelming items but we thoroughly enjoyed everything else. The Crispy Brussel Sprouts and Truffle Fries were my favorites. The boneless wings were good but we got sauces on the side. My Garlic Parm sauce wasn't my favorite but my friend enjoyed her Spicy Garlic sauce. Overall, this is a great spot in Downtown Frankfort to get together with a big group, enjoy a date night, or catch up with friends. Our waitress said her shift was ending/ wanting us to close our tab out as soon as our game ended and we said that's fine we can go up to the bar and keep chatting/ drinking. But she never left so we thought maybe they wanted our lane even though all the others except one were open but no one took our lane after.. The bartenders were talking to each other a lot and lacked eyes on the bar. The bar back seemed super young and out of it and didn't ask if we needed something or wanted to grab the bartenders even though he could hear us and we were staring at him and the bartenders. Whatever still enjoyed our time and the bartender came and brought me another drink. The 2nd drink she repeated it and then brought me a 3rd drink that was completely different but it was still good lol. The bathrooms are cute and clean. The dining side is probably better than the bowling side. The bar is cool. Overall liked it but seems like kids are running the place and could use some tweaks. 10/10

The only service issue we encountered was that the busser cleared one of our plates before we had completely finished eating, which made us feel a little rushed. Overall, it was a great dining experience with outstanding food, excellent service, and a sophisticated atmosphere. While the prices are high, the quality of the sushi makes it well worth considering for a special occasion.

The food was decent, but I can't say that it was memorable or something I'd want to eat again. It definitely wasn't authentic or anything close to what you'd be served in Mexico, Pilsen, or Back of the Yards. The restaurant was clean and cozy though. The service was also excellent, so that was a plus. Maybe stop in for a drink or the chips and guac instead of the food. The bill was about $32 plus tip ($10).

What happened here? We used to go to this place for a long time and the past two years have been horrible. Management has definitely changed. They used to have an adult to welcome you as the hostess. Now replaced with teenage girls - one who spent last night taking picture with her cell phone. On top of that, there is an extremely rude heavy set man who is always rude and unaccommodating. Last year - we made reservations for six and when we got there - we were told that they only took reservations for eight. Their policy on line and for all the past times we went stated six. Again - this rude heavy set man insisted that he has run this place since day one (highly doubtful since we were always treated with respect and never saw him up until a few years ago). He would not accommodate us even though it was still early and the restaurant had no one in it. I also need to mention we had a small child with us. Last night - they sat us at a table too small and when we asked for a larger table - the heavy set rude manager brought a chair and placed it at the end of the table where all the in coming traffic was. At the end of the meal, they took our plates including our parmesan bowl which we had been using. My friend saw them take the cheese and combine it in a larger dish. When he asked one of the young hostesses what they were doing, she stated that they gave it to the workers in the back. Gross! We spent well over $250 and you would think for that kind of money, we would have been treated with some respect. If this restaurant wants to continue to do well, the owner needs to get rid of the new management and replace it with who he had years back which made this restaurant a pleasant experience. Gathered with friends after 25+ yrs. of not seeing one another. Service was fine, food pricey and not worth the cost. After paying for our meal thru the waitress, we were verbally accosted by the same waitress. Per our waitress "was everything ok ladies?." We all stated yes. Why?. Waitress after our response " because you only gave me a $15 dollar tip when it should of been $30". We were mortified!!! This was a complete oversite on our part. We felt embarrassed and guilted into giving this waitress another $17. On Monday 10/19/15, I spoke with a manager (Todd). After speaking with Todd, it is an acceptable practice in this establishment to allow staff to approach patrons to let them know of there mistakes!! Instead Todd, you should of asked how we could resolve this situation! My main reason for calling was so this would NOT happen to another customer! My guess is that this has happened before or everyone who darkens their door is perfect!!! This was the first time my sister & her husband brought us here for dinner and we were greatly disappointed. I swear there was only one waitress for quite a few tables & the poor girl was running around like crazy. The food was just ok & pretty tasteless-all four of us left half our entree as did the couple sitting near us (they too were not happy). We had to wait for 45 min to receive our bill to pay as no one was helping the waitress -including what we assume was the manager who was sitting behind the bar (there was a bartender) & not helping with anything, so I said to him that the poor waitress looks like she needs help & his reply was 'why, do you want a job!' Which he said very rudely. We were appalled at his rudeness from the time we walked in till we left! Needless to say we will not be planning on eating there anytime soon! read more

Maybe kids who live around here don't want fish when their parents do, but you should at least have a kids portion of fish and chips, or some fried shrimp on the menu for them. I'm not going to order a $27 fish and chips portion for a little kid, but he also didn't come to just eat chicken nuggets or buttered noodles.

Parking is free and the ambiance of the restaurant is top tier. It was decorated beautifully, and they did not miss any details when decorating this space. The service was great. Our waiter was great, and he gave great suggestions for us. He checked in with us constantly and made sure that we were all very comfortable and accommodated. The food was so good here. They had a quality comparable to downtown Chicago steakhouses. I got the Delmonico steak, and it was amazing. It was seasoned to perfection. I like how the blue cheese crust and the bearnaise sauce was complimentary. We also had the bread service, creamed spinach, macaroni and cheese, parmesan potatoes, beef fat fries, and crab cakes. Everything was exceptional! For dessert, I had the carrot cake cheesecake, and I was impressed at how delicious it was. Overall, this experience was a 10/10, and I highly recommend going here for any occasion.

Felt like we were a total inconvenience for our server to bring us our first round of drinks then took over 20 minutes for her to come back and take our order. Once food came, she not once came and checked to make sure that we were happy with the food. We had to flag her down to get a second round of drinks. She really seemed like we were bothering her. We will return, but we will make sure that we sit in a different section and hopefully get a different server. The place was popping, a great mix of customers and definitely healthy business for a Friday night in the area. The ambience is definitely along the dive bar-ish type of look so nothing fancy. They do have an outside patio area. That seamed nice, only downside is it looks right into the actual parking lot.

We sat at the bar a were greater in a timely manner by a friendly bartender. I should mention that the entire bar area was full. Our bartender took our drink orders. Tye alcohol special for Friday was $3.50 Imported bottles. We ordered wine and a draft beer. The drinks arrived right away and we were asked if we were ready to order. We both ordered the fish special. We were happily surprised when our server said we could pick any side if we wanted something other than fries. This included the option of picking one of the 2 soups they had available. We elected to pick a cup of the soup of the day which was lasagna soup and waffle sweet potato fries with the other dinner. The lasagna soup arrived first. It was excellent. It was served at a nice hot temperature with a rich seasoned tomato base that had little lasagna pieces in addition to some vegetables. Our fish dinners then arrived. There was an impressive amount of first serving fish at least 5 pieces each plate. The taste of the pollack fillets was fresh and tender. We both felt that the breeding was too thick and very salty for our taste. Unfortunately we noticed the taste of the breading was probably also negatively affected because the oil being overused. We enjoyed the fish by pulling off the majority of the breading and just eating the fish. We did not order any additional fish because the initial portion was enormous. The accompanied waffle sweet fries were not our favorite. They were pretty this which didn't allow for much sweet potato taste. They also absorbed the oil taste which was unappealing. The coleslaw was fresh but seasoned to lightly with very little sauce. Final thoughts were that the soup was our favorite. The pricing is definitely value for AYCE pollack. Fish was fresh and flakey. Too muck breading and salt with an unpleasant oily taste.
