Visiting Austin and I stopped by this spot for some breakfast. It's a nice cool spot to have some coffee or a cocktail for breakfast. I do gotta say the chilaquiles were amazing. The flavor and the crunch of the chips were on point. The service was friendly and attentive. I did get a breakfast taco not pictured and that's the only downside, it was very salty.

I know... I know. How can I give this place such a low rating? Well, here's why... (FYI - This is my 2nd visit in the past 4-months) GOOD: The staff is still as lively as I remember. (Almost too lively) But, hey, who doesn't like a happy staff, right! NOT-SO-GOOD: The young lady at the register made this such an unpleasant experience for me. Now, I don't know if she was "new", but when you have to ask someone else about every item a customer orders, that does scream 'This is my 3rd year.' While ordering, I asked if I could have Fries with my Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwich with grilled onions, extra pickles and ranch on the side, (that's important later) and was told a basket of fries was $8. Not an issue until I received my food later. After patiently waiting at the bar for 10-15 mins, my food comes out and what I saw just pissed me off! Not only did I have a basket of fries, but my sandwich was placed with none other than (yep, you guessed it) a side of FRIES!!! But, what happened next was what sent my blood pressure up. I look at the "extra" fries, I then look directly at the young lady in front of me, and she looks at the plate to see that there were extra fries, and commences to say to a co-worker, "I forgot the sandwich came with fries." Then she looks at me and makes an 'Oops! Oh well' face, and continues making drinks. While it took everything in me not to blow up in that moment, I calmly asked to get everything to-go. Then, the person (who I presume is the owner/manager) inquired "why" they were making my order to-go... saying all this in Spanish - which I don't speak it very well, but I can clearly understand. Kudos to the other staff member who tried to make it right by offering a refund (which I declined, because it wasn't about the money at that point). She provided me with a gift card as a way to say 'sorry for the trouble.' I didn't want the gift card, but didn't want to be rude - so I accepted it. The sandwich looked great, but missed the mark. Too much breading to make it appear like a very large piece of chicken. Since I had to take it all to-go, the fries were not the best (surely not worth $8) when I eventually got around to eating them. Oh, and get this... I never received my "ranch on the side!" ‍

Chips trio with queso, fresh guacamole and salsa. Iced coffee with cinnamon!

Was pleasantly surprised by Las Dosis, it chooses to do a lot of things but it does it well. Dropped by for a brunch and got their chips trio, and iced latte with cinnamon and some breakfast tacos. When it comes to the food, the iced coffee was super smooth and the cinnamon gave it a great twist. It was solid, brewed with care. The chips trio was proper some of the best I've had and a crowd pleaser, with delicious home made chips- it came with queso, guacamole with lime and a fresh salsa that was killer. The breakfast tacos were awesome too. My favorite was just the cheese and egg one, which i had with corn. The green salsa had a good kick. Everything was made to order and tasted fresh. The ambience of this place was super chill, with the perfect mood. Upbeat music, not too bright and a perfect place to get some work done if needed. Prices were reasonable and cant wait to come back to try some of their lunch/dinner offerings. Staff was super friendly and attentive, with the owner asking us how everything was. They did everything right to make us happy. Absolutely worth checking out.

Chip sampler with guacamole, melted cheese and salsa picante.

La Dosis is Cedar Park's newest addition to the culinary scene--a Tex-Mex restaurant that reimagines the genre with a level of refinement one rarely encounters. Where many renditions of Tex-Mex lean heavily on grease and lard, La Dosis presents dishes with a sophisticated balance, allowing the diner to savor the nuances of each ingredient and appreciate why this regional fare deserves to be considered true cuisine. Despite its elevated flavors, the atmosphere remains invitingly unpretentious. Guests place their orders at the counter, then relax as their selections are brought to the table. The communal-style seating--with generously sized tables accommodating parties of 15 or more--enhances the restaurant's warm, convivial spirit, encouraging guests to dine as extended family. On my first visit, I began with the chip sampler, an elegant trio of guacamole, queso, and salsa. I admit to being a snob when it comes to guacamole, yet this version was nothing short of superb: creamy, fresh, and vibrant with flavor. From there, we sampled the chicken flautas and the chicken mole. The flautas were refreshingly traditional, relying on quality fillings wrapped in a delicate tortilla rather than being disguised by a heavy fry. The chicken--mesquite-smoked rotisserie--was extraordinary, imparting a depth of flavor that lingered. The mole, however, was the true revelation. Mole is my perennial weakness, and too often it disappoints with muddled execution. Not here. La Dosis's mole is exceptional, layered with complexity, each spice and ingredient singing in harmony. I found myself requesting an additional side of sauce simply to savor it with warm tortillas. On a return visit, I indulged in the migas, a comforting medley of scrambled eggs, crisped tostada pieces, and pico de gallo--simple, yet executed with finesse. Entrées are paired thoughtfully: dinner with refried black beans and Mexican rice, breakfast with black beans and seasoned home fries. The menu, while concise, demonstrates restraint and intention; each dish is carefully curated and worth exploring in turn. La Dosis has elevated Tex-Mex in Cedar Park, delivering not just meals but memorable dining experiences. It is a welcome gem--one that proves familiar flavors can be transformed into something truly distinguished.

    Espresso martini and dirty martini

I ordered an espresso martini and my husband ordered a dirty martini. They didn't have it on the menu so they asked specific questions about his preferences to make sure he got a good cocktail.

Super cute casual dining that is family friendly, coffee shop and cocktails and more! We've been here casually on Sunday afternoon to get out of the house and La Dosis is such a cute charming space inside and out for lots of fun for adults and kiddos alike. The tree net wizards installed a fun little bounce space for the kids to run around and play, and there are plenty of tables all about to make sure you can be close by and get some shade in. I'd love to see more as it has much potential but understand they're just up and coming! Service has always been friendly, efficient and quick with ordering at counter and them bringing the food out. The cocktails you do have to pick up at bar but it's great for a little get together and casually eating and playing which is always a score in our book for a place to be on the weekends!

We had seen this suggested on places you may not be aware in or around Austin on IG. We went for a weekend brunch, the menu at the counter even has weekend only on the back so not sure how it differs from weekday menu. It is mostly counter service, according to the sign when you come in you order all food at the counter, Drinks can be ordered at counter or through QR Code. Not sure where the QR code is as we just had one round of drinks that we ordered at the same time as the food. It is a clean place, with lots of seating including long tables for large parties and a patio area with cover and many TV's. It is clearly marked. For Soda and Water it is self service. The gentleman at the counter was fast and friendly, made more impressive with the fact he was dealing with several families and kids, some of which had various demand and some confusion. After you order you can close or leave open your tab, they give you a number and the food is delivered but you are called up to get your drinks. We order the chips trio which comes with salsa, queso, and Guac. I see from some other review and pictures it was white queso at one time but we had very yellow queso. The queso and salsa were fine, I don't eat guac so I will leave that review to my wife. SHANA SAYS: Good cocktails! Great salsa and guacomole. I got a breakfast smash burger, a side of bacon, and a sausage patty. Shana got the Migas. Both were good, the sausage patty was the best of my meal. We each got a cocktail. Hers was an espresso martini and I honestly forgot the name of mine but both were very good. The price was average, it was good an a nice place. Glad we tried it. It is a little out of our way but not so much that we can't make it back some day.

Talk about an amazing drink! I was here for a Cedar Park Chamber event and had the chance to try the whiskey old fashion with their Chip Trio! I absolutely loved the old fashion and the chips with all three sides (queso, guacamole, and salsa) were up to my expectations! I didn't leave disappointed!

A cute spot to grab coffee, drinks and food. Stopped by on a Sunday morning to grab some breakfast and get out of the house. Service was great. The inside is a little jam packed with tables and chairs but i guess if they do they busy at peak times it makes sense. So if your going with a stroller like i was you just need to move around some chairs and tables. Love that for their coffee they offer alternative milks. Ordered a cap accu i with oat milk and a Huevos Ranchero. The coffee was good and tasteful, just a tad bit extra cinnamon flavor. The Huevos ranchero was flavorful, i would only say their beans are a bit on the looser texture side.

A new experience in an old place in Cedar Park. The building used to house J&J barbecue. After the new owner spent a year remodeling, it opened recently as a coffee, cocktail, and food bar. It looks the same on the outside, but as soon as you open the door you realize you're not in the sane place any more. The new interior is sparkling clean with all new furnishings, wall treatments, and serving setup. It's very modern and upbeat and busy! They serve many breakfast options, appetizers, sandwiches and Tex-Mex food accompanied by an upscale coffee bar and a variety of cocktails. Can you bring Fido? Of course you can!! There is an enclosed patio setting that allows dogs as well as plenty if outdoor tables as well. There's even an outdoor bar! I had a breakfast smashburger which was a hamburger size sandwich with a homemade pork sausage patty, fried egg and cheese served with country fried potatoes and it was very good but I would have preferred it on a biscuit rather than a hamburger bun. . My daughter had scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy. The gravy was made with real cream and we all had to try that delicacy. My wife had a breakfast taco and complained that it was about half the size as similar priced ones at other places. A companion had the rancheros breakfast plate and said it was one of the best he has had anywhere. So all-in-all 4 stars because of personal preferences. We are glad to see this place open again with an all new upbeat look snd an all new menu. The food is very good, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is great.

Cedar park has got a new brunch/coffee/bar spot in town and it is amazing! The service was awesome, I believe the owner was walking around as well and asking how everything went. There's plenty of seating and open area to relax while sipping on some coffee or brew. The food was amazing! We had the chilaquiles and the huevos rancheros plates and both were fantastic! I can't wait to try more menu items. It definitely feels like the next big spot in town and can't wait to see what other additions they make to the business!

Recently visited for the crawfish boil. Buddy and I torched 9 lbs of crawfish which were great. All crawfish (which I prefer) but if they do add others they increase the weight to accommodate for the other bits. Owner and staff were all super friendly and helpful. Plenty of room inside and there also was a patio area. Clean and nice looking with a bar and enchiladas were great too. It was nice to see a place that didn't have super dry chicken. Definitely going to have to try the sandwiches and other items on the menu. Everything was full of flavor and went great with a beers.

Took my sister to La Dosis while she was visiting from Fort Lauderdale, and she absolutely loved it! La Dosis never disappoints--great vibes, delicious food, and always a solid experience. It's one of my go-to spots, and it was awesome being able to share it with her. We'll definitely be back!

My friend and I sat next to a faux fireplace, where we were greeted by the only bartender working and placed our order. Once he opened the tab, it was disappointing that he never came back to check if we wanted another drink. It wasn't super busy on the Monday we went, but since he was the only one manning the bar, the bartender was always doing something, so I don't blame him fully for not checking back in with us. I ordered a drink called the Velvet Vice. It looked nothing like the picture and tasted similar to an Aviation cocktail with egg whites. I happened to really like it. It is a very relaxed space, but once the speakeasy gimmick wears off, it does not have much else going for it. It is still a cool place, but I am not sure it was worth the lengthy drive to get there. Yes, Hendrick's is top shelf, but even with that in mind... whew. That total felt a little ambitious for a neighborhood bar in Cedar Park. I'm all for a good cocktail, but I also know what these pours cost elsewhere, and this pricing didn't quite match the setting. That said, the service was excellent.
