It is okay, since Veronica seemed she had her hands tied already with the big wedding party from yesterday. (April 24). Aric kept checking on us to make sure we were okay and was quite accomodating and didn't mind us ladies being moved into an inside table. Plus, I didn't want to deal with the typical muggy weather anymore. I ordered a frozen Benny Bellini - Peach Bellini to help support a worker who has cancer. The food was surprisingly served fast despite the restaurant focusing mainly on their wedding party guests from their patio. For dinner, I shared bruschetta. Ordered bruschetta for my dinner. Italian Sausage, Roasted Red Pepper, and Goat Cheese Bruschetta; For my 2nd bruschetta: Apple, Fig, Chutney & Brie Bruschetta. My third Bruschetta was House Smoked Salmon and Herbed Cream Cheese Bruschetta. Thankfully, they DON'T skimp out on their ingredients on top of their bruschetta!! I met 3 other friends for lunch here this week. I've been to this location a few times before. Although every time I go, I aim to try something different I tend to always order the Asian crisp salad because it's so yummy...sans bell peppers of course. My friends had glasses of white wine and I tried their holiday gin cocktail which was perfect for me as it was not too sweet. The server helped guide me to that drink choice. My friends had bruschetta, tuna salad, and grilled cheese with soup. We were able to walk in and easily get a table for 4 as it wasn't too busy. However, it started to fill up and it seemed like our server had many other tables because we wouldn't see her for a while and had to wait a bit for some follow up items. Not my first time by any means, but my first review. Lunch on a Saturday in November. Seated promptly, though the place was hopping. Very friendly, attentive service. We shared the crispy Brussel Sprouts, Point Judith Calamari and the Ahi Tuna Tartare. My companion at the time had the Frose to drink. The drink was quite tasty, the Brussel Sprouts and Ahi Tuna Tartare were excellent and the Calamari quite good, the latter was excellent in fact until it cooled down a tad, an issue with most calamari. The Grove did a fabulous job helping us celebrate our friend with a wonderful set up at the back/side end of their restaurant. There was 13 of us a service managed to remain top notch. While I can't speak for what others had, but I thoroughly enjoy my seared salmon salad. Mix green was fresh and the salmon was cooked perfectly. I also really liked the fried onion ring tapping they added, which create a nice texture and flavor to the dish. My wine flight have generous, poor and certainly worth the price. The Grove offers an extended wine/drink list and the food menu certainly gives you many options to choose from. They also have a cute outdoor seating area that offers happy hour menu. A great place for casual family outing, date night or a group dinner like we had. They certainly have some thing for everyone to enjoy. read more

I was with great company and had the privilege to try The Grove. We sat outdoors and they had a big fan! We were seated right away. We had 2 meat lover's pizza and my friends had lady wine. My drink was yummy, I had watermelon mix. I requested to not have jalapeño in it, great Three points because I think the ratio servers: table is not that good? . Our server was great but was not able to attend to us on a timely manner. There was a couple who left because they waited a while after being seated and no one was able to get their order. Pizza: I love thin crusts. The two pizzas were less crunchy than they should be. Otherwise they tasted good. read more

I was amazed at how nice The Grove was, a friend suggested meeting there for dinner which this specific location was in Cedar Park although they have a few others around the area. This was my first time visiting and although I didn't get a chance to tour the whole property, what I did view was very nice. A lot of outside seating areas, even an outside area but slightly covered with huge fans blowing as a 2nd option. Lovely bar and tables near by which is where I sat. The service was also outstanding with 2 different wait staff asking me if I needed anything occasionally. I ordered the Bolognese pasta which was absolutely delicious! Every bite had tons of flavor. For a drink I had a Peach Me (I'm sure I got the name slightly wrong but it was tasty and strong) so much so I ordered a 2nd one! I feel like I didn't get the full experience here so you know that means I will return with a more detailed updated review but so far so good! read more

Heard good things about this place. Looks really nice inside and out. Liked they had a nice patio area. For the most part the presentation of everything was awesome. But looks can be deceiving. We were seated all the way in the back where the coffee part is. Was kind of weird with a big curtain covering it all. Our waiter basically forgot about us most the time. We had to walk up front to find someone to cash us out. Took way too long for everything. Didn't care for the steak. Should have known. The noodles were really watery. Flavor was ok. Best thing was the soup for sure. The bruschetta was ok. Maybe it was just the day we went but it was a weekend. And I won't be coming back to try this one again. Sorry guys. read more

We come here quite a bit because it's dependable, easy and has a large menu variety (without being overwhelmed by options). The staff is always very helpful and accommodating. The one time we've ever complained about food, the manager sent it back, had a new/hot dish prepared and comped the item on our bill. We were very pleased! Make a resy of you want indoor seating. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating but it's best if you make a reservation. If you like wine, This is the spot for you. If you like bruschetta, This is also the spot. I usually get a wine flight, so I can try different wines. And always get a mixture of bruschetta. The fish tacos are so good. We had an amazing experience here for our anniversary. We made a reservation. We got there a few minutes early, and they seated us right away. Our server helped us have an amazing time. She was so cheerful and gave great recommendations for our first time there. The entire staff was efficient. We had like 4 courses because we just kept ordering food haha, and the servers served us our food in a timely manner. The food and drinks were delicious. We shared brunch with friends in their patio. Food was good, nothing extraordinary but well presented and fairly priced. Service was good, after the initial annoyance our server seemed to have because we needed to move the tables to have shade, he was attentive, professional and helpful. The women bathrooms were nice and clean. Drip coffee is expensive but they do refill it. It would be good to have more shade outside, as TX sun is too hot most of the year, and perhaps another one of those fans to help people enjoy their patio better. read more

I believe this is now my 3rd or 4th Grove location that I've eaten at in Austin, and each are consistently great. The menu has food options for all pallets. We ordered the Wine Lovers Pizza, Tuna Poke, and the Brussel Sprouts. What I love about the Brussel Sprouts here is that they use these extra large ones but still come out extremely crispy and fill your mouth with a flavor bomb. I highly recommend them if you are a brussels fan. The poke was a perfect summer meal, filled with extra crunch cucumbers and plenty of fish. You will probably need an additional item with it to make a meal, but you won't be disappointed. Lastly, the Wine Lovers will always be our go to. We ate it too fast to even get a picture. All in all, the Grove is on the more expensive side of spots but in return, you get a consistently good meal across the board. read more

Update 02-23-2024 On a recent Sunday evening, we stopped by The Grove - Cedar Park for a quick bite... Service was good, as always. A glass of Livon pinot grigio started the evening, along with a crab cake appetizer. The crab cake was very good, mostly crab, nice light panko crust, a little dressed arugula on the side and horseradish remoulade underneath. Tasty! We shared the roasted beet and hand tied burrata salads, with prosciutto added to the burrata. Both were very good. The beet salad features three kinds of beets, the gold and candy-striped are varieties you rarely see. Toss in some apple slices, mandarin oranges, green beans, spiced candied pecans, a little balsamic, mixed with a light citrus vinaigrette. Served in a super cold bowl... a good salad. The hand tied burrata salad also hit the mark. The burrata cheese was delicious, very cold, and oozed a lot when cut... perfect! The addition of good small tomatoes, toasted pine nuts, a base of basil pesto, balsamic, olive oil, toasted baguette on the side. A nice presentation, and delicious too. The Grove - Cedar Park is a dependable go to in the Cedar Park area. Consistently good food, consistently good service, moderately priced. when we spend time and money going out, we want a quality experience. I think that's fair. This place had a really nice ambience But the food was mediocre. I knew not to expect much but a salad with just a bunch of lettuce on it and no other garnishing was very boring. The service sucked. I literally had to get up twice and look for our server to order other food and eventually get our check. Maybe we'll go back but it'll have to be up for a good reason. What a great experience from start to finish. Visiting a friend and she thought this would be a great place for a Girl's Night Out. We shared a wine flight as I'm a one drink kinda gal and she polished off the other two. We also shared the hummus and feta appetizer and a pizza. I appreciated the variety of hummus, and the feta was my favorite of the three, as well as the crudities in addition to the pita for dipping. The pizza was absolutely delicious, from the crust to the toppings. I am glad we opted for the smaller pizza, because the crust is quite substantial and buttery. Stopped for some light dinner and wine before a show at the HEB Center. Easy access from the highway, super spacious, and attentive service. We were pleasantly surprised to find we were in time for happy hour and got some small dishes. The arancini and brussel sprouts were great! Husband and I stopped here for dinner since we have heard some good things about this place. We showed up about 1.5 hours before closing and had no issue finding parking close by. The restaurant was nicely designed and clean. The ambiance was great and easily allowed for intimate conversations. The wine selection was excellent and a hit! We got great recommendations from our server and tried the flight. The food, however, was not the best. We both opted for pasta. Mine was good, but felt like it was lacking in flavor and a bit on the expensive side for what it was. My husband's pasta was extremely fishy - not a good thing as it indicated the seafood was not fresh. We notified the waitress and she apologized and did not charge us for the seafood pasta. Overall, we would return for the wine and maybe some appetizers, but probably not for the main dinner courses. read more

We've attempted to try this place many times but something always came up or it was too busy. We finally made it with some friends for dinner. We started with beers and I had a Frose that was tasty but a tad too sweet for my liking. I may consider in the future but without the triple sec. For entrees, I had the wine lovers pizza, it wasn't hot although very tasty, there could have been a little more fig. Others has the Cuban sandwich, the avocado BLT and the pasta with pancetta and prosciutto. We all enjoyed our entrees. Id go back and try other menu selections. Our server was Anthony, he was diligent, patient prompt, gay fantastic recommendations as well as his approach to the service was exceptional! We all ordered pretty much the same thing however I will tell you the breakfast hash is one of my wife's favorites at all breakfast locations. She said this one right here was the best she ever had.!! I have got the Cuban, which I always get intrigued to see how chefs or owners take such a wonderful sandwich and spin it and twist it and as something unique.! That sandwich had all the taste buds and flavors that you could imagine and the kettle cooked chips paired perfectly seasoned right crispy and fried right!! Just an all-around fantastic sandwich! The coffee bar they have makes Starbucks look like a McDonald's not to mention the barista behind the counter had a phenomenal Deadpool hoodie on ! The coffee and hot chocolate were next level!!
