We started with the garlic knots and the Caprese appetizer, and both disappeared way faster than they should have. I ordered the Double Header and my wife went with the Spinach Alfredo pizza topped with chicken and bacon. Every single bite was incredible. The atmosphere was awesome, there were TVs everywhere to catch whatever game you wanted to watch, and the whole place just had a great vibe. A huge thank you to Vanessa for taking such great care of us. Our food took a little longer than we expected, but she kept us updated the entire time, checked on us often, and made sure we never felt forgotten. My husband and I have been going to this neighborhood spot regularly. It has quickly become one of our favorites. The food is consistently delicious!! Especially the meatballs, garlic knots, wings, and chicken tenders. The pizza is excellent and even the salads have been fresh and really well done. What really makes The Dugout stand out is the people. Sandy and Barrett have created such a welcoming atmosphere and you can tell they genuinely care about the experience. Had such a great experience at The Dugout in Cedar Park! The drinks were amazing and the service was even better. Our waitress/bartender Ashley was absolutely wonderful--super friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. One of my favorite things when going out is when you can actually connect with your server and feel like you're talking to a friend instead of it just being another transaction, and Ashley was exactly that! My partner and I came here in February for date night. When we arrived, seating was pretty limited, so I ended up on this random stool they pulled from the back and placed at the end of the bar. Not ideal, but we rolled with it. What stood out immediately was the staffing setup: three bartenders behind the bar, but only one server covering the entire floor. So service moved at a crawl. Not because the server wasn't trying -- he was hustling -- but the structure itself made everything slower than it needed to be. We ordered mixed drinks and the meatballs, and honestly, the meatballs were the highlight of the night. Three perfectly baked meatballs sitting in marinara, topped with mozzarella and parsley. They were juicy, tender, and seasoned the way a good pub‑style meatball should be. A lot of places overwork their meatballs or pack them so tight they turn into little cannonballs. These weren't that. They had the right texture -- soft but not mushy -- and enough seasoning to stand on their own without relying on the sauce to save them. The marinara was surprisingly good too. It had that slow‑simmered sweetness with a little acidity, not the metallic, straight‑from‑a‑can taste you sometimes get at sports‑bar‑type places. The melted mozzarella on top gave it that cozy, comfort‑food finish that pairs perfectly with a mixed drink. Drinks were fine -- nothing fancy, nothing bad -- just standard bar cocktails. Overall, The Dugout has potential, especially if you're coming for a casual night out. The food has bright spots (those meatballs are legit), but the service setup needs some rebalancing so guests aren't waiting forever while three bartenders stand behind the bar. So so excited that this place opened up! We have already came twice to eat here. We got the buffalo dip as an app and it was delicious and hot! Lots of cheese too. I'm so happy that we finally visited the Dugout! Four of us visited on St Patrick's Day and they were beyond busy. We were able to secure a table, hooray! Even though they were slammed services was fine. As a bonus Plus 1 got her traditional green beer. I had my traditional Guinness and Jameson! Being a Chicago themed bar they offer Italian beef and Chicago dogs. I can testify that their Chi-dogs are legit. The Dugout does have a full bar, a great beer tap selection, and TVs everywhere to enjoy sporting events. When the weather is nice there is an outdoor area. read more

This new local bar popped up in October 2025, which was formally known as Warpath. One thing that drew me here was their Chicago style menu and the fact that it's a sports bar. You can get a good Italian beef, hotdog, pizza, burger and wings from their extensive menu. You can sit on the bar side and watch one of seven flat screens or on the pool table side where there are four more screens and lots of seating. Lots of craft beers on tap and a full bar. The photos below include some, but not all of their menu pages. A great neighborhood bar that has plenty of parking out front and in back with a couple of pic nic tables sitting outside. I decided to get their Chicago hotdog to go. For $10 it was a good deal and it came with some excellent home fries, but no poppyseed bun. It's definitely a great bar to grab a beer and lunch at. I have come to Dugout a couple times with my family and always feel so welcome!! The staff is not only attentive but very friendly and makes everyone feel like they're a part of the Cox family! We also had the chance to experience their first ever 80s and 90s music trivia night, and it was a BLAST! The vibes were immaculate! This specific time I ordered a chicken caesar salad around 11:00 and Cameron specifically made it for me and it had the best grilled chicken I've ever had. My wife and I are new to the area and have been hitting spots with decently high ratings on Yelp to check out the local hot spots. The Dugout was our pick for lunch this Sunday. When we arrived, the bar was full, so we grabbed a high-top table and proceeded to watch all of the NFL games currently showing on the 6 or 7 TVs in that area. We were met shortly by one of the waitstaff who asked for our drink order. We ordered drinks and then decided on an appetizer of the meatballs. OMG! Probably the best meatballs we've ever had. My wife ended up not getting more food because these suckers were so tasty and filling. The order was 3 not-quite-baseball-sized meatballs, deliciously moist, not dense, and covered in savory mozzarella cheese in a lake of one of the better marinara sauces I've had, along with two of their scrumptious garlic knots. This could easily be a meal by itself! It was so filling, I had to change my thoughts about getting their Chicago-style deep dish pizza because I figured I'd only be able to eat a piece or two at most. I ended up ordering their traditional cheeseburger and fries. The burger was a 1/2 lbs with cheddar, plain and dry, just the way I ordered it, along with a pretty large side of hand-cut fries. Everything was just as delicious as the meatballs. I guess the best comment I could make is we will DEFINITELY be back to enjoy the pizza for sure, and likely the wings and the Italian beef... if only to see how it compares to what I remember Portillo's in the Chicago area tasting.
