    Meatballs
    Courtney B.

My partner and I came here in February for date night. When we arrived, seating was pretty limited, so I ended up on this random stool they pulled from the back and placed at the end of the bar. Not ideal, but we rolled with it. What stood out immediately was the staffing setup: three bartenders behind the bar, but only one server covering the entire floor. So service moved at a crawl. Not because the server wasn't trying -- he was hustling -- but the structure itself made everything slower than it needed to be. We ordered mixed drinks and the meatballs, and honestly, the meatballs were the highlight of the night. Three perfectly baked meatballs sitting in marinara, topped with mozzarella and parsley. They were juicy, tender, and seasoned the way a good pub‑style meatball should be. A lot of places overwork their meatballs or pack them so tight they turn into little cannonballs. These weren't that. They had the right texture -- soft but not mushy -- and enough seasoning to stand on their own without relying on the sauce to save them. The marinara was surprisingly good too. It had that slow‑simmered sweetness with a little acidity, not the metallic, straight‑from‑a‑can taste you sometimes get at sports‑bar‑type places. The melted mozzarella on top gave it that cozy, comfort‑food finish that pairs perfectly with a mixed drink. Drinks were fine -- nothing fancy, nothing bad -- just standard bar cocktails. Overall, The Dugout has potential, especially if you're coming for a casual night out. The food has bright spots (those meatballs are legit), but the service setup needs some rebalancing so guests aren't waiting forever while three bartenders stand behind the bar. I'd come back, but probably not during peak hours unless I'm prepared to sit on another mystery stool. #supportlocal

We stopped in here randomly for a night to watch the spurs game. When we came it was packed! Definitely a place many people come. It was hard to get our order in and didn't help that a football game was on too. I'd come back to try their food next time. We were in and out in 20 minutes.

So so excited that this place opened up! We have already came twice to eat here. We got the buffalo dip as an app and it was delicious and hot! Lots of cheese too. I absolutely love Italian beef's and had to try it. I asked for it dipped with spicy giardiniera. It's making my mouth water as I type, it was bomb. The beer is nice and cold too, lots of people came in to watch the games go on while we ate. The Dugout is such a great spot for good food and a chill place to drink a beer/catch a game. The staff is friendly too!

This new local bar popped up in October 2025, which was formally known as Warpath. One thing that drew me here was their Chicago style menu and the fact that it's a sports bar. You can get a good Italian beef, hotdog, pizza, burger and wings from their extensive menu. You can sit on the bar side and watch one of seven flat screens or on the pool table side where there are four more screens and lots of seating. Lots of craft beers on tap and a full bar. The photos below include some, but not all of their menu pages. A great neighborhood bar that has plenty of parking out front and in back with a couple of pic nic tables sitting outside. I decided to get their Chicago hotdog to go. For $10 it was a good deal and it came with some excellent home fries, but no poppyseed bun. It's definitely a great bar to grab a beer and lunch at. Check out the photos and video below to get you through the door.

75cent wings on Monday night cannot be beat! We got some wings and the Yankee Showdown pizza. The double crust was excellent. The cheese pulls were on point. Will definitely be going back.

The food is always incredible, but what truly sets this place apart is the people. Kylie, Nathan, Maddie, and so many others on the team consistently go above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, cared for, and genuinely valued. Their kindness never feels forced -- it's just who they are. One moment that really stayed with me was when I brought my young niece, who has several allergies and can also be a bit picky with food. The chef personally came out to our table to ask thoughtful questions, understand her allergies better, and make sure she felt safe and comfortable eating there. That level of care meant so much to our family. Now that I'm pregnant, the staff continues to be just as attentive, accommodating, and thoughtful. They always make sure I'm comfortable and taken care of, and it honestly feels like visiting friends every time we walk through the door. Restaurants with great food are everywhere. Restaurants with genuinely wonderful people are rare. Jack Allen's is one of those rare places, and we're incredibly grateful for the amazing team there.

We started off with the queso and guacamole. They queso was delicious and while the guacamole was fresh it needed some salt. For my meal I got the special which was the bacon wrapped meatloaf. It was flavorful and cooked correctly. My only recommendation would have been to give some more sauce for the meatloaf. My husband got the fried pork chop and said it was cooked perfectly and that the gravy was delicious. Overall, an enjoyable meal and we would return.

There was a few humans that could have been directed by a handler; ex: leashes on dogs in the park and kids with dog treats. Luckily nothing big came from it but usually these things are big no no's at parks because it can cause some fights. Otherwise, Tailgate is amazing! Parking at Mutts was pretty smooth but it does look like it could be difficult on days or times where many owners decide to stop by. When entering there are a lot of security precautions in place ensuring that it would be VERY difficult for dogs to escape which is much appreciated. To get into the dog park itself you need to purchase a day pass which runs $14, there are other options like weekly, monthly, or even membership passes but as first timers we didn't want to commit too hard just yet. Ordering is pretty straightforward and the food options are simple, burgers and tenders and fries. They do also have a dog menu but it is very lacking for being a dog focused place, just two options for dogs and both involve peanut butter so in the case your dog is strange and doesn't like peanut butter then you're out of luck. There's a good amount of seating on the patio for food and the interior of the dog park also has a lot of seating and things for dogs as well like rocks, baths, and water bowls. They have a big screen out in the yard too so if you're into sports and would like to bring your dog somewhere to watch then this is a great option. Beware that you SHOULD NOT bring food into the yard, they don't explicitly say it but just know that is not a good idea. Overall, Mutts is an awesome place to bring a dog and just hang out and have them (or you) socialize. Consider stopping by with your dog when you have a chance!

I chose the fresh burrito to avoid simple carbs. The food was a bit mild in flavor, so I asked for salsa. They have a delicious homemade habanero salsa that's bursting with flavor, and I especially appreciated that it wasn't smoky. That salsa alone earns five stars from me! Aside from that, it was a little challenging to get someone's attention for the check and water, but overall, it was a pleasant experience.
