One more restaurant where long waits need to be made in order to get an empty table...
Place/location: You would expect some kind of above average restaurant if it is located in the gourmet area of the city right? Well, this is not the case, parking is full most of the time due its size (quite small), so if you get there driving you will have to wait some time until someone comes out from the restaurant and leaves, once you get an empty parking spot, then, be prepared to wait some more time until an empty table is prepared for you, average wait is 20+ minutes, not recommended if you are really hungry right in that moment. In case you decide to wait, you will be thrown to a waiting section which is also packed, there are some seats but only a few of them.
What really grinds my gears of this place is the highly noisy inner environment, my idea of having a good breakfast is getting some company and have a nice and long conversation while eating, If you think the same as me then please do not go to this place, as in some other places, you have to raise your voice to be heard by your companion! Furniture really needs some fixing/upgrading, most of the tables wobble and believe me, you will not enjoy having some hot coffee spilled over your lap.
Prices: Prices are quite high considering the quality and amount of food, I have not tasted anything out of the ordinary. Waiters take your order promptly but meals take a while to be served.
Food: Just average, nothing really outstanding, most of the dishes here can be found in some other restaurants in the city.
All in all this place is greatly overrated with overpriced meals, people keep coming to this place since it has become some kind of tradition (or maybe a bad habit from my perspective), it makes no sense to me waiting to find a parking space, then wait some more for having a wobbling table and have my meals surrounded by noise. Customers tend to believe that if everyone keeps coming to this place then the place ought to be good, sadly this is not the case.
My two cents. read more
