    Queso birria

We ordered (2) Queso Birrieria plates, it came with 2 queso burrieria and consume. It was good and filling, but it was a bit pricey. The host/cashier/ waitress was very nice and friendly. We had a good experience just a tad more than we wanted to spend. It was New Year's Eve so it was a bit slow, but it wasn't busy or loud, and we enjoyed our food.

I love this place and have been here a handful of times with friends. I love their quesad-birrieria. Tasty each time and filling. Lots of parking and sitting space! The owners are nice and easy to talk too.

    Platter

Absolutely disgusting flavorless food it came in a package that was completely drenched and unusable. I ordered the Birrieria platter The description did not match what I received at all the beans are flavorless. The cheese is sloppily melted underneath and there is barely any meat. The photo is me transferring the food into a bowl i

The Grumpy's Mad Burrito de asada literally had no asada ‍

When we first walked in no one was at the counter , then when the hostess showed up she was very rude . The place was super empty but yet tables we're dirty while waitress is nowhere to be found . The food was decent, but lacked having any meat. Honestly this was the worst experience I've had at a restaurant, would not recommend. worst 80 bucks I spent

Service as really bad. Waiter seems more concerned about chatting it up with his co workers than actually place our order. There were three tables and one was getting irritated waiting for their cheque to be sent to them. The ambiance is just...off. The food as some have mentioned, looks bland and lifeless. Considering their sign is a banner over the other sign of the previous restaurant, that's what you need to pay attention to. Do not go here. It's not worth the headache.

In WA for work and was searching for some good food. Being from Chicago, it's hard to find food that compares to our city but there are some gems in WA including this one. Here on a quiet Tuesday night. Only customer at the moment but the restaurant is very welcoming. The decor, the music, it all screams authentic cuisine. Trini was my server and was extremely helpful. Had several recommendations for me; quesabirria tacos and a steak "grumpy" taco. I'm bummed I can't try the grumpy taco as is due to my small spice threshold. It comes with habanero sauce. I opted for it without and the taste was incredible. I added some green sauce she recommended and I demolished the taco. One of the best steak tacos I've ever had. The quesabirria meal is served with two tacos and consume. Huge portions! From the first bite I knew it was going to make me feel happy and completely satisfied. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town and will recommend this to anyone in or out of the Seattle area.

Rice and beans side- $6 for bland sadness

Bland, expensive and not as advertised. My mediocre chicken flautas didn't come with the rice and beans I thought they would (they were in the Dinner section which states served with rice and beans) Got the grumpy sampler and was underwhelmed plus it didn't come with the guac. A strange thing happened too when I was checking out- it's cafeteria style where you order at the front, an 18% gratuity was added on without my consent? I'm all about tipping but I'd like to have a say and cafeteria style wouldn't really warrant more than a 10% tip IMHO. Rice and beans had to be ordered as a separate side and were super bland - a huge let down for $6 extra. Definitely won't be coming back here, which sucks I had high hopes! Appetizer Sampler, 2 fish tacos, flautas, kids nuggets, rice and beans side plus chips and salsa (meager portion no refills) was $108. Insane.

I really wanted birria tacos and close to us was this place it was new to us so we decided to try it. Upon arrival it was empty we stopped at the counter and the guy said to order there. Once more customers arrived white were seated and then they took their order there? Not sure what happened. The prices seemed high but we hoped it was good. It was not, the taste of the birria it self was mid the broth needed flavor, the sauces are okay. The quesabirrias tasted better bc the cheese added flavor. Ordered 2 birria ramens my kids did not eat so that speaks for it self it had a weird smell pretty sure it was top ramen so for the price not worth it. The jaimaca was good but it was artificial. Will not be coming back.

Super delicious tacos with a delicious consommé. The people who were very nice there. One person might've been new, but she was trying her best. Another lady noticed that they forgot to give us mango margaritas and she sweetly tried to give us our money back. We said no.it's a very old-school place that was a bit rustic, but was compensated by how delicious its food was. The best ones I've had.

Chicken fried steak paired with the garlic rice is such a good combo. As you can tell i like the garlic rice. Drinks: Mango tea refreshing with the perfect balance of sweetness. The outside was nice too as you could enjoy the weather in a relaxing patio area with nature, manicured green grass, trees, with the sounds of the trickling fountain. They also had a bar area for that very casual, louder vibe to just talk and/or catch a game on the TV. We went with the dining area and Julissa was our server and she took very good care of us. She was courteous, attentive, and thoughtful. She recommended a few of her favorites when we asked her for suggestions. Charcoal Grilled Pork Chop: coconut-ginger braised collard greens, grilled spring onion, pork jus, wasabi butter (4/5). The Double cut portion was cooked to medium. It was tender, juicy, and the juices had a sweetness to it. The wasabi butter was good and not overpowering. I'd order this again. Superfood Salad: white bean hummus, quinoa, kale, carrots, blueberries, golden berries, cashews, sunflower & pumpkin seeds, avocado, herbs, feta, lemon-sesame vinaigrette (4/5). My wife really enjoyed her salad. I admit it was full of good ingredients but a tad bit heavy-handed on the dressing. Don't get me wrong the vinaigrette was delicious. Banana Bread Pudding (5/5) - Moist, crisp on the edges, and smothered in warm caramel sauce - this decadent bread pudding paired with vanilla ice cream was absolute perfection! We'd definitely come back the next time we're in the area. Support your local business.

Definitely part of the Corner Bakery Cafe chain, they are not picked randomly from place to place. The first thing I appreciated was the parking. They have their own lot, so finding a space was easy--a huge bonus compared to many Seattle cafés where parking can be a challenge. As you walk in, you'll see shelves displaying their freshly baked breads and pastries, making it easy to browse before ordering. If you look to the left, there's also a viewing window where you can catch a glimpse of the bakery production behind the scenes, which adds a fun touch to the experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The staff were friendly and never made me feel rushed. Instead of asking repeatedly if I was ready, they simply let me take my time and came over when I was ready to order. I really appreciated that. I'm the type of person who takes a while to make very serious food decisions, so the no-pressure service made the experience even more enjoyable. One thing that surprised me was that the café wasn't filled with the strong aroma of coffee or freshly baked bread like many bakeries are. Don't let that fool you, though--the bread was incredible. I ordered the Bialy Egg Sandwich, and the bread was soft with a wonderful chewy texture while still having a nice crust on the outside. The egg was cooked with a perfectly runny yolk, which made every bite rich and satisfying. If you prefer your eggs fully cooked, I'd recommend asking when you order. I paired it with a coffee that leaned toward the bright, slightly acidic side. It complemented the sandwich well, although my personal preference is for coffee with more chocolatey, earthy notes. That's purely a matter of taste, not quality--I can definitely see why others would enjoy their roast. One thing to note is that pets aren't allowed inside the café, so plan accordingly if you're bringing your furry friend. But they do sell dog biscuits and you can enjoy the outdoor space with your furry friend after ordered. - which is a bit confusing to me Just keep in mind that they're only open on weekdays and close around 2 p.m., so it's definitely an early bird kind of place. I'd happily come back again--it's the perfect stop after a morning workout before heading to work, and I can definitely see why people have been recommending it. Overall, this is a wonderful spot for breakfast, a quiet coffee break, or a place to recharge before starting your day. It reminded me of the cozy cafés in Capitol Hill, but with much easier parking and a more relaxed pace.
